Welcome.
Go ahead and take a few moments to disconnect from what's going on around you.
Let your surroundings fade so you can fully direct your attention to this visualization.
Relax your body and take a deep breath or two.
Drop your gaze or close your eyes,
Whichever feels better for you.
In this visualization,
We'll focus on getting motivated for your day.
So continue breathing deeply.
Relax your jaw.
Relax your throat.
Relax your neck.
And visualize yourself up out of bed and sitting in your favorite room of the house with your favorite hot cup of beverage.
Could be coffee.
Could be tea.
And as you sit in your favorite room of the house,
Just take a moment to be still and quiet.
Continue breathing deeply into your belly.
Long,
Slow,
Full,
Deep breaths.
Intentionally relax your body.
At this stage of the morning,
You know you have the whole day ahead and yet you're at peace.
You're taking a few moments to be calm and still.
And take one more really deep breath and let it out with a sigh.
Notice what this sense of calm and peace feels like.
Remember this feeling and if you feel like your day is getting out of control or feeling chaotic,
Recall this feeling.
Go back to your breath and see if you can reconnect with that sense of peace.
Now that we've started our morning with relaxation,
Let's bring to mind the things that we need to accomplish.
Imagine your to-do list floating in front of you and prioritize the top three things you need to do for the day.
Know that you can accomplish those tasks easily because you are capable and you have the ability to focus.
And you know how good it feels when you knock things off your list.
So imagine that first task,
Whatever it might be,
And see yourself accomplishing it smoothly,
Easily,
With no obstacles or distractions.
And notice how good it feels to get that task knocked off your list.
Notice that sense of ease in the body.
Notice that sense of calm and peace.
Notice that sense of ease in the body.
Notice that sense of relief.
First task down and you feel great.
Take a break,
Stretch,
Get a glass of water,
Chat with a co-worker or if you're working from home,
Take a moment to snuggle with your dog.
Celebrate your success of completing that first task.
Visualize that to-do list once again in mind and see the top task on the list crossed through with a line.
Now it's on to the next task.
Using that vibrant energy that you have from accomplishing the first task,
You dive headfirst into the second task.
It feels great to be productive.
It's so much more invigorating to be doing something than it is to be doing nothing.
You have no obstacles,
No distractions,
And you move through this task easily,
Even if you thought it might be overwhelming or tedious.
It's not a problem.
It's not a problem.
It feels great to get things done.
It brings energy into your life rather than making you tired.
Your brain feels alive.
You're not bored.
And as you complete the second task on your list,
You take another break.
You move your body,
You stretch,
You get another drink,
Maybe a snack,
And you are content and at peace and invigorated all at once.
It feels so good to get stuff done.
You've got one more thing to accomplish in your day.
So you head back to your desk or your office or your workshop,
Whatever it may be,
And even though the day is partly gone,
You're still invigorated.
You've just gotten a couple of great tasks off your to-do list,
And you did them successfully,
And here's your last task for the day,
And you know you can get it done.
There is nothing stopping you now,
Because you know how good it feels to get stuff done.
You're not overwhelmed.
You're not anxious.
You started your day with a sense of clarity and peace.
By pausing before you dove into any projects,
And that has served you well.
You work your way through the steps of this next task,
And you see the finish line in front of you.
You've accomplished it,
And now you are done for your day.
You smile,
You stretch again,
You throw your arms wide,
Bending your spine backward and forward and side to side.
You feel great.
You make a note of the things you need to do for tomorrow,
And with that feeling of accomplishment and pride and ease,
You step away from your workspace,
And you look forward to the evening ahead,
Knowing that you can accomplish these same tasks as effectively tomorrow,
Purely by setting your mindset right first thing in the morning.
So release all the imagery,
And come back into the room in which you sit.
Take another couple of deep breaths,
And smile gently,
Knowing that you have everything you need.
To have a fully motivated day.
