Welcome to your daily ritual to cultivate essential alignment within.
Essential alignment is a state of being where all parts of you are aligned,
They're united,
And they're working cooperatively and collaboratively for your highest good.
These parts include your physical self,
Your energetic self,
Your emotional self,
Mental self,
And soulful and spiritual self.
So using the breath we are going to connect to each of these parts and allow the breath to act like a thread weaving together all of these parts so that we become a united whole within.
You can think of this time as a ritual,
Time spent creating a ritual that really honors your wholeness.
So if you'd like to light a candle or burn some incense or maybe dim the lights,
Creating a space that helps you enter sacred domain.
And then you can come to sit or you can lie down comfortably whichever you prefer.
Feel free to bring your eyes to close and begin to tune in to your breath.
Just taking a few slow inhalations,
Complete exhalations,
Receiving the nourishment of your in-breath and using your out-breath to really let go,
Let go of tension and stress,
Let go of external distractions.
Breath by breath arriving more fully here in this sacred domain of now.
And beginning to witness your physical body.
Notice the shape of your body.
Notice places of tension and the release of that tension as you become aware of it.
And feeling the breath as it moves in and out of your body.
Noticing the body gently expanding to receive the nourishment of the in-breath and as you exhale,
As your body releases the breath out,
The body become a little bit softer,
A little bit more relaxed.
And moving from your physical body now to your energetic body.
This is the life force that underlies your physical expression and this energy not only moves through your physical body but it also extends out into the space around your body.
Sense into this energetic part of you.
And see if you can feel the breath moving through your energy.
Again,
Noticing within your energy body if there's areas of tension or blockage,
Maybe a sense of flow and expansion.
Breathing in and as you breathe out allowing any stress to release from your energy body and letting your energy body maybe soften and spread out taking up a bit more space.
And from your energetic body from this part of you letting yourself travel now into your emotional self,
Into your emotional body.
This is the part of you that feels emotion,
All different types of emotion.
And as you attune to your emotional self just notice your breath and notice also if there is an emotional tone present in this moment.
And what might that emotion be?
And however your emotional body is presenting itself in this moment can you be open to that?
Can you be curious?
Can you be compassionate towards your emotional self?
And can you allow this part of you to be here fully?
Integrating with your energetic self and your physical self.
And then just feel the breath coming in,
Gently touching into your emotional body and as you breathe out let your emotional body release a bit,
Let go a bit,
Maybe surrendering any harsh or heavy or hard emotions,
Letting them flow,
Letting them release.
And then from your emotional self I'm gonna move to the mental body,
This part of you that thinks,
Intellectual part of you,
The part of you that remembers,
That organizes,
That plans.
Noticing your state of mind in this moment and imagine your mind being able to inhale and exhale.
And as your mind inhales and exhales,
The breath supports the freeing up of any heavy or negative thoughts.
The breath facilitating a release of any beliefs that might inhibit this essential alignment that we are cultivating right here,
Right now.
Letting your mind fully receive the inhale,
Letting the inhale soothe the mind and then as you breathe out feel a calming feeling,
A sense of ease developing in the mind.
And from your mental body,
Part of you that thinks,
Moving into your soul self,
The light of who you are,
This is the part of you that exists beneath your human conditioning.
Sometimes we think of this part of us as our inner light or even our higher self.
Connect to this part of you and notice what you sense,
Notice what you feel when you align with your soul.
Notice how the breath weaves into the energy of your soul,
How the breath moves through your soul energy,
Maybe amplifying this inner light and as you breathe out let your soul spread out,
Let this soulful part of you take up space.
Feel the soulful part of you here,
Awakened inside your body,
Anchored into your energy,
Connected to your emotional and mental bodies.
And just take a nice full breath in,
Complete breath out as we take our final journey to the spiritual part of us.
So from soul,
Feel yourself expanding even more into the biggest part of you that merges you with spirit,
With the energy of the universe,
With all that is.
This is your source of unlimited energy and inspiration,
Creativity and power,
Feeling into this expanse of spirit.
Notice your breath flowing in and out and notice how as you breathe,
How this energy of spirit,
This big part of you,
This expansive part of you responds to your breath.
And then from spirit,
Allowing the breath to weave your awareness all the way back through each layer of self until you arrive back home,
Aware of yourself and your body.
Take a breath in,
Feeling your attention moving from spirit to soul.
As you exhale,
Acknowledging your mind,
Breathing in to your emotional self,
Emotional body,
And exhaling,
Finding your energetic self,
Where life force flows through,
And then settle your attention into your body.
Feel how you're sitting or lying down here.
Notice how your body is moving with the breath.
All parts of you are now awakened within.
All parts of you united within.
All parts of you collaborating,
Cooperating together for your highest good.
Allow them to all be here with you throughout the rest of your day.
Take one last slow breath in,
Complete breath out,
Honoring this daily ritual of cultivating essential alignment within.
