Welcome to this guided meditation to help you find the answers you seek within.
I'm Amy Patier,
Guide,
And I'm so grateful you are taking this time to connect with yourself today.
So please come into a comfortable seat and just allow yourself to begin to settle in here.
And sense your breath.
Just noticing how it's naturally flowing in and out in this moment.
Feeling where your body is moving with the breath.
And as you breathe out,
See if you can just let go a little bit.
Feel your body starting to soften into this moment.
And sense a deepening connection with yourself.
The inner space of you.
Check in with your jaw.
Letting the inside of your mouth release.
Let your shoulders drop away from your ears.
And where else might you be able to just let go?
Letting go of unnecessary tension or stress that you no longer need to carry.
And then acknowledge and feel the floor beneath you.
And see if you can let the weight of your body release down into the floor a little bit more.
Grounding yourself,
Grounding your energy.
And from this grounded place,
Sense into your spine.
Noticing your posture.
Letting your spine lift up nice and tall.
And if it's hard to feel your spine here,
You can make some micro movements.
So maybe you sway just a little to the left and to the right.
Or you let yourself sway a little forward and back.
As you sense these movements of your spine,
You can start to feel into your center a little bit more precisely.
Making any adjustments so that you really feel like you are sitting upright.
You're aligned.
And your body can be at ease.
Take a breath in and take a breath out.
And do that once more.
Just take a nice full breath,
Breathing in and breathing out.
There are three areas within us that hold immense wisdom.
And when we have questions,
These three areas can provide us with the answers and insights that we're seeking.
These places are the head,
The hips,
And the heart.
Connect to these areas now just by feeling them physically.
So feel your head for a moment.
Just feel the physical structure of your head.
And again,
If it's hard for you to sense your body in this moment,
Use your hands.
Hold your head with your hands.
Take a breath in and out.
And then shift your attention to your hips.
And again,
Maybe you rest your hands over your hips,
Sensing the physical structure of your hips.
And take a breath in and out.
And then move your attention to your heart,
The space of your heart.
And again,
You could rest your hands over your heart.
And just feel the breath flow into the space and feel the breath flow out.
These three places hold immense wisdom for you.
Now return your attention to your head.
Feel the breath moving into your skull.
Notice any sensations across your face,
Around the back of your head,
Or even into your brain.
And notice how your head is aligned in relationship to your spine and the rest of your body.
And make any adjustments so that it just feels like your head is in its perfect place,
Balanced over the rest of your body.
Your head represents your mind,
Your intellect.
And we could even say your ego in some cases.
It offers us wisdom that is pragmatic,
Wisdom based on past experiences,
Wisdom that wants to keep us safe into the future.
So take a breath in and take a breath out,
Just honoring this point of wisdom within.
Now travel down into those hips again.
And see if you can feel your breath moving through this inner space of your pelvis.
It helps you can rock a little side to side again to spark a bit more feeling down in those hips.
And notice how the hips and pelvis relate to the spine and to your whole body.
Do you feel like you're balanced over both hips equally?
Your hips represent the primal you.
It offers wisdom that is natural,
It's instinctual.
The hips connect us to the animal part of us.
It's the part of us that reflexively senses danger and draws away from it or moves closer to a safe experience or let's say a potential mate,
Someone we feel chemistry with.
So as you feel your hips breathe in and out of them,
Breathing into this primal part of you and honoring this point of wisdom within.
Now take your awareness up into your heart space and just breathe here and feel your chest and ribcage moving with your breath.
Again,
You could rest your hands over your heart to intensify the connection and maybe you can even feel your heart beating inside your chest.
Your heart represents your soul,
The divine part of you that is plugged into spirit.
It offers wisdom that is pure of intent.
So not based on past experiences or the primal chemical drive that occurs in our body.
It's wisdom is innocent,
It's direct,
It's clear,
But it's also often really quiet.
So take a breath in and out to honor this point of wisdom within.
We'll come back to feeling your whole body breathing.
Feeling the head,
The hips,
The heart,
These three powerful places filled with wisdom.
And I want you to think of a question that you have that you're seeking an answer to.
Now imagine yourself sitting on a round table and you are at the head of the table and you have three guests.
These guests look just like you,
But each one represents a different aspect of you.
One represents your head,
One your hips,
And one your heart.
Ask your question silently or even out loud to these guests.
Now turn to your head,
Your intellect,
Your ego,
And listen to what its answer is.
And keep breathing,
Filled with curiosity,
Listening to what your mind has to say in response to your question.
After the head has shared its answer,
Think it and shift your attention to your hips.
The version of you here at the table that is representing your primal self,
Your instinctual self.
Feel free to repeat the question to this part of you and listen to what your hips have to say.
Keep breathing as you listen with curiosity.
When the hips have expressed themselves fully,
Say thank you.
And then lastly,
You're going to turn to your heart.
Feel free to repeat the question and see what answer the heart has for you today.
Breathing and listening to your heart with curiosity.
Once that feels complete,
Thank your heart for sharing its wisdom with you.
You can always return to this place for further questioning if needed.
Come back to your breath.
Feel your body breathing.
Allowing the messages from your head,
Your hips,
And your heart sink in.
All three of these points of wisdom have something valuable to offer you.
Often when the truth speaks,
We feel calm.
We feel grounded.
And we just know that that is the right answer.
So your job is to receive the insight and to decide which answers land within you and make you feel a sense of calm.
Which answers throw you off balance or into a spin.
Sometimes the truth speaks and it surprises us.
But it feels right.
So come back to your whole body breathing.
As we wrap up this meditation,
I invite you to spend a few minutes jotting down any notes that feel really relevant.
And again,
Know you can always come back to this roundtable visiting these three places within to download wisdom from them.
May the answers you seek be made known to you easily,
Gracefully,
And with love.
Thank you for joining me today.
Namaste.
