Welcome to your Inner Child Meditation with Amy Natalie.
Inner Child Healing is such a powerful modality to support with any emotional triggers or reactions as you move throughout your day.
We all have a little girl or a little boy that lives inside of us that is seeking love and attention whenever you feel triggered,
Whenever you feel hurt.
It is actually your inner child that is calling out for your love and your support.
In this meditation,
We're gonna go on a journey to meet your inner child and to develop a deeper,
More trusting relationship with them.
So begin by closing your eyes,
Feeling your connection with the earth and the support underneath you.
Start to take a slow deep breath through your nose.
Exhale slowly,
Letting it out your mouth.
Take another slow,
Nourishing breath in,
Filling up your belly and your heart.
And exhale,
Allow your shoulders and your face to soften.
One more slow,
Nourishing breath,
Really bringing that sense of nourishment and aliveness on the inhale.
And exhale,
Reminding your body that it is okay to relax,
That it is safe to be here.
Now I want you to picture yourself somewhere out in nature,
Envisioning a path out in front of you.
As you start to walk down this path,
You feel the earth beneath your feet.
You start to feel the sunshine,
The warmth on your skin.
And you take a look around at all the beautiful colors,
The blues,
Greens,
And all of the flowers that are surrounding you.
Now as you walk down this path,
You start to feel more relaxed,
More at ease,
More grounded within yourself.
And up ahead,
You see something that is shimmering in the distance,
And you keep walking towards it.
As you come up to this shimmery object,
You see that it is a beautiful golden door.
You gently open the door,
You step inside of this beautiful healing room,
Filled with candles,
Crystals,
And flowers.
As you close the door behind you,
You feel safe,
You feel held.
And as you walk into the room,
You see in the center of the room there is someone that is standing there waiting for you.
As you stand in front of this being,
You recognize that it is a younger version of yourself.
Maybe a version of yourself at a time in your life where you felt scared or alone,
Or like you needed more love and attention.
So really picturing what you look like at this age,
And taking this little being in your awareness,
And looking at your little girl or your little boy with loving tender eyes.
And as you sit down next to them,
You gently ask them how they are feeling.
Give them space to respond,
Listening to their words,
Feeling their hearts,
Being present.
And as you hear your inner child speaking to you,
You are sending them love.
And you share with them,
I see you.
I'm sorry that you're hurting.
I want you to know that you are not alone.
I'm right here with you.
You are so lovable in this moment.
You are so worthy.
I love you.
And I am here.
As you share these words,
You watch as their face brightens,
Their heart opens.
You see if there's anything else that you would like to share that your inner child needs to hear from you today.
Perhaps they need a little hug.
You reach out and you hold them,
Noticing any emotions that might be arising for you in this moment,
This tender,
Sweet connection with your inner child.
And you let them know that they can call upon you anytime that they need you.
And so you give them one last hug.
You gently start to walk towards the door,
Making your way out of this beautiful healing room,
Noticing the crystals and the flowers.
You gently open the door.
You feel the sunshine on your face as you step out onto the path.
Feeling the earth beneath you again as you make your way slowly back to where you began.
Feeling the nourishment of the nature that is surrounding you.
Feeling the healing that is happening in your heart.
Gently coming back into your physical body into this moment.
Take a deep,
Slow breath,
Waking up the body,
Maybe gently stretching,
Moving slowly,
Bringing one hand to your heart,
Thanking yourself for showing up for this practice today.
Knowing that you can always come back here in any moment to offer some love and kindness to your inner child.
