Whether you're entering a new year, lunar new year, birthday, or any significant personal or professional transition, this practice works gently with your systemic field through somatic, energetic, and spiritual processes. You can complete this contemplative practice in one sitting or return to it across days, weeks, or the year, repeating as often as feels supportive. The alchemical and transmutational work may continue to unfold in your nervous system, systemic field, and deeper awareness over time, in both waking and dreaming life. Use this practice to anchor in the lessons, close the books on relationships, events, homes, professions, a part of your life, or a cycle itself, and move forward with deeper support and resourcing for your intentions and the life you came to live. You may choose to journal during or after the practice to integrate this process.

Welcome in to the guided contemplation practice for clearing,

Resourcing,

And clarity.

My name is Amy Babish and I'll be with you during this practice.

You can come to this guided experience anytime you're crossing a threshold.

It might be during the calendar year changing,

During the lunar new year,

During your birthday,

Or during a significant life event or decision.

Before we begin this practice,

You'll want a blanket as your temperature might fluctuate,

A glass of water or herbal tea,

And if you choose to journal,

Something to write with,

And some paper.

You can stop this meditation at any time and come back to it.

Some participants might listen in one sitting,

Whereas others might do it across a few days,

Weeks,

Months,

Or a year.

There's no right or wrong way to do this practice.

You can begin by noticing.

Noticing your breath and allowing your breath to breathe you.

And as you notice your breath,

You want to have your back body supported.

So you might choose to lay down,

Lean back,

Or even change environments.

During this practice,

I invite your physical body to be supported as possible.

You can keep your eyes open or closed,

Whatever feels most supportive.

And as you begin to allow yourself to arrive,

Invite your breath to breathe you back to you.

From wherever you've been today,

This week,

This year,

From before the pandemic,

The past decade,

Or throughout your entire lifetime,

Or all of your lifetimes,

If that's your come from place.

And you can begin to allow yourself to notice that you are one who notices.

And inviting your noticing on the next inhalation to notice that you're beginning to arrive.

And on the next inhalation,

Inviting your energetic feet to grow deep and wide into the heart of the world or mother earth.

And as you make contact with the heart of the world or the core of the earth,

Beginning to invite deep resourcing to come up through the bottoms of your physical feet,

Through the front and back of your calves,

Through all four sides of your knees,

Through your front of your hamstrings and quads,

Through your pelvic bowl,

Through your digestive organs,

Through your belly button,

Your solar plexus,

Your diaphragm,

Through the front and back of your heart and lungs,

Across your shoulder blades,

Down through your arms and fingertips,

Through the front and back of your neck,

Through your jaw,

Your sinuses,

And up to the top of the crown of your head.

And beginning to allow that resourcing yin grounding supportive energy to filter through the parts of you that are longing for support.

It might be conscious or unconscious,

Known or unknown.

Inviting that grounding,

Deep supportive energy to go wherever it needs in the physical body,

In the emotional body,

In the energetic body,

And in the spiritual body.

And on the next inhalation,

Beginning to allow in support from above.

And whatever your come from places is welcome.

That might be something in nature that fills you with awe and wonder.

It might be the cosmos.

It might be your systemic field,

Which includes resources,

Supportive ancestors,

Guides,

Whatever you name as the mystery,

Oneness or wholeness.

And beginning to allow yourself,

The one who notices,

To receive support,

Both above and below.

And as you inhale,

You're receiving support.

And as you exhale,

The natural exhalation will join or marry with the support above and below to filter out what no longer serves you physically,

Emotionally,

Energetically,

And spiritually.

This isn't something you have to do,

Or will,

Or force.

We're inviting in that filtration,

That clearing to be gentle,

And titrated at just the right amount,

The right pace,

Whatever you need in this moment.

And as that clearing and resourcing process continues,

We'll deepen into our contemplative inquiry.

On the next inhalation,

Inviting yourself to presence,

Whatever it is you'd like to contemplate.

And you might imagine it as an orb in front of you,

A ball of energy,

Or you might be a more detailed person,

And you might like to cast it on a screen in front of you.

Or you might just sense or have an awareness of it.

For this practice,

We want to invite it to be separate from us.

It's not inside of you,

It's outside of you.

So there's a delineation between you,

The one who notices,

And what you're contemplating with crossing the threshold around.

And just in that first initial inquiry,

Just notice what happens in your awareness,

In your physical body,

In your energy body,

As you notice that there is,

In fact,

A separation between you and that which you are crossing.

You can begin to notice as you take space from this experience,

This year,

This journey,

What are you able to notice now that you weren't while you were in it?

What can you see now as you step back or have more space,

Time?

You might have an emotional awareness,

Or the learnings and lessons may begin to filter through.

And as you take space and time from this threshold experience,

What is it that you feel that you've gotten lessons from or medicine from?

And we do this with the lens of compassion and non-judgment.

What are some of the deeper learnings that you'd like to take with you?

And they might be things that you've gotten in the past,

And you got them in a very different way in this part of your journey.

You might be holding that orb in a different way,

So you can see it at a different angle than when you were in it or when you've been in it so many times.

And I invite you to look at your relationship with yourself,

Your relationship with those that you have intimate relationships with,

From friends to families to lovers to close neighbors and close colleagues.

Intimacy is a different word for different people.

I invite you to sit with and contemplate what lessons or takeaways have shifted for you with organizations or your career,

Your community,

Or systems.

How are you journeying systemically with life itself at this point?

What do you notice to be true for you at this time that didn't have space or that grew or multiplied or in fact diminished or disappeared or dissolved?

Have your boundaries been grounded and clarified on any of these levels within yourself,

Interpersonally,

Within different groups,

Communities,

Organizations,

Or systems themselves?

As you're gathering and allowing these lessons,

The steepening of awareness to continue to bubble up and arise,

What emotions are being transmuted or dissolving with this process?

When we allow the emotional wave to take its place of belonging,

It may not even be yours.

And just like waves in the ocean,

It will eventually recede back into the bigger sea.

If you're having an emotional experience,

Give permission for that emotion to take its place.

For that emotional wave to find its place of belonging relationally,

Community-wise,

Organization-wise,

Or systemically.

Just always come back to your breath and the support you have both below from Mother Earth and above from whatever that place of above support is for you.

That you're not alone in this practice.

You are being held.

In the next layer of inquiry,

You might begin to complete or close the doors with some of the relationships,

Context,

Events that you've received the lessons,

Awareness,

Or medicine from.

We can't do this from a charged place,

From a resentful place,

Or from a place of helplessness.

You know you're ready to say goodbye when it feels neutral in your body.

Doesn't mean there can't be feelings,

But the predominant feeling is not overwhelm or charge.

When you're ready to say goodbye and complete or close the books with a relationship,

Context,

Experience,

You first may want to pardon yourself and pardon the other.

Being able to let go of the charge is a powerful practice for being able to move forward in a clean and clear way.

And for some of you it might be something visual like allowing a contract to be rewritten or burned.

Others it might be an awareness that is the books are closed or the door is closed and that you're saying goodbye with neutrality or perhaps even forgiveness and you're able to move forward with all of you and that person,

That context,

That system,

That experience has all of them back with them.

And as you allow that to happen,

Just inviting in more fresh supportive resourcing energy.

So you might invite the flow of support both below from Mother Earth and above to double.

Allowing it to go to places known and unknown that need more life force,

More revitalization to support your deeper coherence as you move forward with more of you clean and clear.

And on the next inhalation beginning to deepen again and asking what is true for me now?

What are my intentions?

If I'm able to move forward from this point,

From this threshold and cross it with deeper knowing,

Wisdom,

And connection to myself and whatever I feel is my deeper source of support or deeper sources of support,

How would I like to use this freed up life force and energy?

Where would I like the flow of my energy and intention to go?

What am I devoting myself to?

What supports do I need to allow this part of me or these intentions to flourish?

Do I need to give myself permission?

That others cannot give to me?

Can I land my intentions so that they're really on the ground?

That I know the shape and form of them as I take the next step towards them?

If you don't have clarity,

Perhaps that is your intention.

I would like clarity on my longing,

On things that don't have words yet or things that have been percolating.

If I do have clarity,

Can I ask for help on the next step on what my priorities are?

Do I need help with simplifying?

Do I need help with overthinking?

Do I understand what it feels like when I'm in deep alignment with who I am and why I'm here?

My deeper purpose,

My deeper calling,

My deeper commitments.

And for some of us,

We're clear on those things,

But we might need help on more of the aliveness and the joy and the playfulness and the passion that life has to offer.

You can ask within,

Running through your own wisdom filter,

How do I want to journey with my intentions?

Who or what would I like to be a companion or companions with me on this journey?

How do I notice when I'm in alignment?

How do I notice when something is life-giving and I can continue to pursue it?

And when is it time for me to pivot or release something?

Where am I asking for help and surrendering?

When am I procrastinating?

And when am I willing or forcing that it's my way and I'm doing this alone?

And as you are contemplating these deeper awarenesses,

Listening for deeper,

Deeper truth,

Deeper wisdom,

And again,

Allowing that support to double once again.

If you're noticing any constriction,

Inviting that support both above and below to either dissolve that constriction or to envelop it with like a cloud with a gentle hug.

Just breathing through it,

Not pushing through it,

Not avoiding it.

Or perhaps the waves are back,

The emotional waves,

And allowing the supports to also tend to the waves as you are tended to,

As you are not the wave.

And as you come back deeper to yourself,

Deeper to your knowing,

Allowing gentleness in,

A gentleness that might be familiar or foreign.

A sacredness that allows you to be whole and complete and lovable,

Even when you have needs and you are most needy,

Most uncertain,

Most trepidatious.

Inviting in the supports and resources that you may have been connected with or disconnected from,

Allowing them to come into your awareness to support you with your intentions.

Invite them to connect you in mundane and profound ways to that which you are seeking.

And that which is seeking you.

And inviting in the restoration of peace as you move forward,

That peace may be restored within you systematically,

Physically,

Emotionally,

Energetically,

And spiritually in the fullness of who you are.

With your intentions and the entirety of your systemic field.

And allow that deepening to invite even more clarity about how you'd like to move forward,

What your next step is,

And a resource or an ally in a way that feels alive for you,

True for you.

And you can take as much time as you desire with this practice,

And you can come back to it again and again and again.

And this practice will unfold within you in your systemic field,

Just as it should.

It's not required to come back if you've already completed it.

As you complete the practice,

Bringing your awareness back into your physical body,

Back into this body-mind,

Noticing the ambient sounds around you,

Noticing the sound of your breath,

Noticing the sensation of your clothing or the blankets that you've chosen,

Noticing the quality of the air around you,

And thanking yourself and your systemic field for this practice.

Your deeper knowing,

Your deeper wisdom,

Whatever resources or allies that have revealed themselves to you or reconnected with you or cheered you on and supported you,

Thanking them.

And then beginning to wiggle your fingers and toes,

Rolling any of your joints or cat-cowing if you're already seated,

And if you're laying down,

Rolling over gently to one side.

And take your time as you come to a seated position,

Taking a few sips of water or herbal tea you want to hydrate after this process.

A lot of things probably move for you,

And you might want to just complete with some note-taking,

Journaling,

Or drawing or sketching of whatever comes out of this juicy moment,

This juicy process.

You might have some questions that continue to bubble up.

You might ask your dream writer before you go to bed for a dream to help support this process.

Or in your continued process,

You might ask for support as you journey moving forward.

I wish you well in your journey.

And remember,

You can always come back to this practice or any of the practices that I offer to get more support,

More clarity,

And move forward in this big life you came to live.
