Beginning by noticing yourself sitting.

And then bring your awareness a little bit outside your body,

Move it up and out,

Almost so you can look down on yourself,

Maybe 20 to 40 feet up.

Just imagining you're actually moving your awareness out and looking down.

Notice what that's like to see yourself sitting here listening to this recording.

How does it feel to see yourself with this bigger perspective?

How does it feel to be a bit higher up,

Not so blended in the human body and emotions?

And then move your awareness even higher to maybe 100 or 200 feet up.

So you get smaller and you notice other people that might be nearby.

Might be able to see that everybody's going about their lives and has their own story.

All the people moving about.

Notice how it feels from here,

From this perspective,

To watch everyone doing their thing,

To see yourself amongst it all.

How does it feel to see the big picture from here?

See if you have any words of wisdom you might want to send down to yourself from this perspective.

Maybe there's also a feeling you want to send down to yourself,

A feeling of calm or compassion.

Or any message at all that you might want to give to yourself down below when you can see the big picture.

See if any of that reaches you down below.

And then moving even higher so you can see more people,

The whole landscape around you.

You might even see the whole course of your life,

Things you might have been through and are going to go through in the future as well.

I feel like when you can be high enough to almost see everything,

How does it feel from here?

Again,

Noticing if there's any wisdom you might want to send down to yourself,

Or reassurance,

Or support.

When you have the vantage of this perspective,

What do you want to tell yourself down below?

And then while you're at this perspective,

This level of awareness high up,

Take a moment and look up and look around.

What's it like when you look up,

When you look around you?

What's here?

What's available to you?

Maybe you just see the night sky full of stars.

Maybe you just feel a vastness.

Maybe there's a higher power or God.

Maybe there's the presence of ancient ones or guides.

Let's see what support might be here for you.

Take it in.

If there are any guides or beings here,

Looking them in the eyes.

Really seeing everything that's here to help and support you.

Things you might have not noticed when you were way down below.

Taking in the full breadth and depth of all the support that's available to you in the vastness.

Time and space.

Breathing it in.

And seeing if your guides or any support that's around you has any wisdom to offer you.

Anything they want to tell you.

Seeing if there's any support that wants to be directly offered to you.

Any gifts at all as you look around,

Any gifts of this vastness you might take with you before you go back down?

Taking in those gifts,

That wisdom.

And then looking down again on yourself way down below.

As you look down on yourself,

Asking yourself,

Why would you want to choose,

Why might you want to choose to go back down?

Why might you want to live out the rest of that body and mind and that life,

However much time is left?

Why might you choose yourself?

Bet marimba shades don't have to be reborn,

But it's said that they choose to be reborn out of compassion over and over again.

So maybe this is your reason or there might be others noticing why you might come back down and be willing to choose this life here now.

And when you do come back down,

Bring the gifts of your elders and guides and the vastness with you.

Come back down.

As you are coming back into your body,

Look yourself in the eyes and say,

I choose you.

Knowledge yourself.

See where you might want to reside in the body,

Bringing this bigger awareness that you've had and these gifts,

The vastness of life.

Where might you want to bring them into your body here and now and carry them forward,

Placing them in your body somewhere,

This perspective from the meditation,

The wisdom of the elders.

And going forward,

If you get lost in the human emotions,

The story,

You get blended,

The intensity of this life in a body and mind,

Remembering,

Remembering the perspective of the vastness,

The ability to have a bigger wisdom and support when you look up and around.

And you can have both.

You can have the groundedness of this body and this life,

Whatever's meant to happen here,

This human story.

And you can have the really big picture and have both and carry forth both with love and patience.
