A calming, healing meditation around the mantra “I am Peace.” This meditation is for our Anahata, or heart chakra. May your heart be open and shining bright with ease and flow. Namaste, my friends. You are loved.

Hey y'all,

So I just wanted to come on here and do a really quick meditation.

This is going to be a healing meditation.

So I just wanted to say hi to everybody.

So what you need today is just some quiet space and if you want you can light a candle,

Whatever feels good to you.

So we're going to get started.

What I need you to do is just kind of,

You can sit with your right foot crossed over your left if you want or you can just sit however feels comfortable to you.

I just want you to feel really relaxed right now.

So pull your shoulders back and I want you to just breathe.

We're going to close our eyes and we're going to breathe deeply for four counts in through the nose and then four counts out through the nose.

So breathing in to a count of four and releasing.

We're going to set an intention.

So our intention for tonight is peace because of everything that's going on in this world.

So whenever I say to say your mantra in your mind you're going to say I am peace.

I want you to just bring your hands up to heart center and you're going to put your thumbs together and then touch your thumbs to your heart and I just want you to feel that energy in your heart.

I want you to send some gratitude to your heart and to your breath and just to being alive in this moment.

I want you to just really,

Really feel deeply into the moment.

I want to close our eyes and we're going to breathe in deeply through the nose and breathe out through the nose again for four counts.

Letting go of everything you're holding on to,

Anything that's not serving you,

Just releasing it and really coming to a calm space.

Really letting go of all of those thoughts and worries.

I want you to breathe in and this time I want you to breathe in peace and breathe out worry.

So on the four counts in we're going to breathe in peace and breathe out worry.

This is actually the parasympathetic system in your body so when you're breathing deeply like this,

This is the quickest way to calm yourself.

I want you to take your right hand and put it on your heart and I want you to pull your shoulders back and just really breathing into the moment and I want you to say thanks to your heart right now.

Really feel your heart beat.

Allow yourself to close your eyes and get lost in this moment of being fully present right here right now.

I want you to breathe deeply that mantra.

Breathe in four counts and say I am peace in your mind.

If your mind starts to wander that's okay,

That's normal.

Just coming back to the center,

Getting yourself really grounded and centered and coming back to your breath always.

So just breathing in one more time through the nose four counts and then breathing out through the nose.

I can't say hi to all you guys but I'm going to wave at you after this is over but please in the comments please tell me where you're from.

Alright so what we're going to do is we're going to walk through a really quick meditation.

I want you to close your eyes and I want you to imagine yourself in a field of wildflowers.

If you're in Texas we have bluebonnets right now so you can imagine yourself in a field of bluebonnets.

And I just want you to sit there and I just want you to lie down in that beautiful field and just really feel yourself feeling very free,

Very held.

I want you to imagine that God's got you in the palm of his hand and there's nothing to worry about.

You're completely calm and peaceful.

I just want you to sink deeply into that feeling and I want you to imagine what the word peace means to you and I want you to embody that as you're lying there in the bluebonnets.

I want you to just breathe deeply how they smell and if they're not bluebonnets whatever you're around I want you to just inhale deeply that smell of beautiful wildflowers in the field you're in.

And I want you to just lie in the moment and just allow yourself to feel that freedom dropping all worries,

Letting it all go.

Just knowing that all is well.

You are safe.

There's nothing to worry about and it's all good.

I want you to just imagine yourself standing up now in that wildflower field and I want you to imagine yourself just starting to take off running and just running through that field like you did when you were a kid.

I want you to imagine your inner child has come out to play and you're just out there in that field and I want you to just feel that freedom that comes with that.

If your mind is starting to wander I want you to just remember your word which is peace.

Breathing deeply in through the nose and out through the nose for four counts.

Relaxing fully into this moment.

I want you to say the words I am peace.

Feeling your heart beat,

Giving it gratitude.

I want you to send love and light out to the world from your heart.

So what I want you to do is I want you to focus in on your heart chakra which is the color green.

So what we're going to do is we're going to imagine you can still keep your eyes closed and you're still lying or running in that field but I want you to imagine now that there's just the whole world around you,

Just the whole community of beings in this world.

Everyone is connected and there's unity all around.

Everyone's safe and everyone's healthy and well.

I want you to just imagine that feeling and I want you to imagine your heart just surrounded by bright light,

Just golden light just emanating from your heart.

And then I want you to imagine there's another layer of green just powerful just goes out from your heart to everyone around you,

The community,

The world,

Everyone.

I just want you to sink deeply into that love and that light in your heart chakra,

Your anahata.

So I want you to just really feel that feeling of wellness and peace and love and deep connection to all people.

Surya means union and so I want you to remember when we're working,

When we're doing a meditation,

Really we're connecting our heart,

Mind,

Body and soul and it's a holistic practice.

So I want you to take another deep breath in through the nose and release it,

Releasing all worry and anything that isn't serving you tonight.

Just let it all go.

Don't worry about any of your problems or anything that's on your mind,

Just letting it go.

I want you to sink deeply in this feeling of peace and calm and knowing and surrender that all is well.

I want you to bring your hands up into prayer pose and I just want you to just sit here and say,

I am peace.

Breathing in through the nose for four counts and breathing out.

Two more times just like that,

Allowing yourself to sink into the present moment.

One more time.

All is well.
