Welcome to your meditation.
My name is Amber,
And I'll be guiding you on a little journey today.
As you become more and more settled into your meditative state,
Or alpha brainwave state,
Feel secure,
Safe,
And confident that should an emergency arise,
You will be able to respond accordingly.
You should not try to meditate while driving.
Now find yourself sitting or lying down in a way that your spine and head are neutral and best aligned for your body to have a clear central channel for breathing.
Once you're settled in your position,
First recognize your natural breath.
Just feel the inhale and the exhale.
Maybe you're noticing that as you inhale through the nostrils,
The air is cooler.
And if you need to really unwind and release some stress and tension,
Let your exhale come out of your mouth.
Even if you make it audible,
Sigh it out.
Inhale,
And then sigh.
I want you to picture that you have a screen at your third eye,
The point between your eyebrows.
You can do this with your eyes closed,
Or perhaps in a soft gaze.
But your eyes themselves will shift upward and in.
But your eyes themselves will shift upward and in towards that third eye.
Imagine that screen being a bright color red,
Completely filling it.
And if colors perhaps aren't working for you,
You can imagine the number seven on your screen.
Now envision that red field transitioning to orange.
Or perhaps you'll see the number six.
And then you'll see the red field transitioning to orange.
Or perhaps you'll see the number six.
Then the orange transitions into bright yellow and the number five.
The yellow transitions into a lush green and the number four.
The green transitions to blue and the number three.
And the blue transitions to indigo,
To the deepest,
Darkest purple with a hint of blue,
Just like the midnight sky.
And the number two.
And that dark indigo transitions to a lighter,
Brilliant orchid,
Perhaps dazzling with glittery light of yellow and pink and lavender.
You are now in alpha state.
Where you are is going to be up to your imagination.
And you can be as creative in this mind place as you want to be.
In the distance,
You can hear water.
It's gurgling and washing over rocks.
The sound is telling you that there's a river nearby.
You're going to make your way towards that river and however you do that is up to you.
Perhaps you're floating,
Flying,
Walking,
Maybe you're on horseback.
Look down towards the ground and examine it.
See what it looks like,
Where every pebble is,
Where every branch and twig and the leaves.
Maybe butterflies and other things.
And you can see the leaves,
The leaves,
Maybe butterflies are landing on the foliage.
And you're getting closer and closer to that river.
The birds are getting louder.
The birds are getting louder.
Soon you can see where the path leads right to the banks of the river.
You see very large rocks that form a type of bridge,
Very natural,
Going across from one bank to the other.
Maybe there are some fallen trees.
Maybe there are some trees that are just like the trees that are just like the trees that are just like the trees that are just like the trees.
And there's plenty of shade and moss.
You can take notice of all of those aromas.
And as you slowly begin to walk closer to the water's edge,
You look down and can see your reflection.
And you can see right through the water's edge you can see the water's edge.
You can see the water's edge.
You can see the water's edge.
And you can see right through the clean,
Clear water all the way to the bottom.
You begin to walk out.
And remember,
Even if you can't swim,
This is your river and you have control.
You're going to think of something that you're ready to release from your life,
Something that is no longer serving you.
And feel it come right out of your heart center.
Determine what it looks like,
Whatever this thing is.
Maybe it forms a shape,
Maybe it's a color,
Maybe it's a vibration and just a feeling.
And you're going to create a bubble around whatever that is.
When you're ready to let go,
You can lean down,
Place that bubble on the water's surface and watch it float away.
Come back to the water's surface.
And watch it float away,
Going down the stream.
And if you'd like to repeat that step for anything else you're ready to let go of,
Take that opportunity and do it.
Remember that you are safe and you are always in control here in your mind's eye.
Once you're done with your bubbles,
Let your body sink down into the water of the river.
Lowering yourself,
Feeling it come up over your hips,
Up to your waist,
All the way up to your shoulders.
And since it's your river,
You don't have to float away.
You can just be in control,
Staying where you are and enjoying the water.
You can just be in control,
Staying where you are and enjoying that feeling of the water washing over you as it carries away your tension and your worries.
Soon you find that your body is actually changing,
Softening.
It's becoming part of that water and the water is becoming part of you.
And as you're feeling it,
You're feeling it coming up over your hips.
You're feeling it happening your whole body.
You're feeling it coming up the whole body.
Water represents our emotions.
So as you're there in the water becoming one with the water,
Your emotions can release and just spread all around you.
When you're ready to rise up,
You can start collecting yourself from all of that dissipation and bring back only the parts that you want until you're fully formed,
Placing your feet down and walking or floating or flying back to the riverbank.
It's time to bid farewell to this river knowing it's always there inside you.
It's a ritual that you can return to when you have time and whenever you need.
I want you to start returning now to your physical self,
Bringing awareness to your physical body in the room that you're in.
Keeping the sensation of your body against the surface.
Starting to bring small movements into your hands and fingers,
Wiggling your toes,
Crawling them and extending them.
Moving your head from side to side.
Placing your jaw,
Bringing space between your teeth and moving your jaw from left to right.
You'll slowly start to return to the real world,
To the present moment.
Then counting up slowly,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Five.
Start to flutter your eyes open very softly,
Gazing at the floor.
Six,
Seven,
Eight,
Nine,
Ten.
And open your eyes.
Welcome back.
