You're about to hear a recording I made of the cicadas at Oak Creek in Sedona,
Arizona.
I live in Sedona and I get to go to Oak Creek almost every day.
It's a magical place with incredible energy and I am so blessed to be able to connect with nature there.
Recently I was down there and for the first time I got to hear the cicadas calling.
Now this was not the first time I had heard cicadas in my life but it was the first time I heard the cicadas mixed with the sounds of Oak Creek.
It was an incredible experience to hear them singing over the powerful sound of this fast-moving water.
They were so loud and they filled the air.
It stopped me in my tracks.
I could feel the vibrations in my body and I just stood there on the banks of the creek letting the sounds wash over and envelop me.
It reminded me of a thousand shamans shaking their rattles all at the same time.
My body was humming and buzzing with the vibrations of the sound.
The next day I went back and the day after that again my body could not get enough of this powerful sound.
It was a really really healing experience.
I was very aware that the cicadas rattling was shaking loose stuck energy in my body and my field and the frequency of the quickly flowing creek was washing that stuck energy away.
This recording has no music or narration.
I decided simply to honor the sounds of nature and let her do her work.
As you listen I invite you to imagine that the cicada sound is shaking loose things that have been stuck and the rushing water is washing them away.
Lose yourself in the sound.
Let it surround you and fill your body and take you into the space that these frequencies create.
If you like you can set a specific intention for the sound healing or you can simply trust the power of the energy in this recording and let it support you however you most need it in this moment.
All you need to do for this is to relax and get comfortable.

Allowing your systems to come to a resting point.

You can give a big stretch.
Whenever you're ready you can open your eyes and come back.
