Hi and welcome to this five minute breath meditation which is designed to help you to relax and connect to yourself when you don't have a lot of time.

Let's begin.

Sit in a quiet space where you won't be interrupted for the next five minutes.

Have your feet flat on the ground and your palms gently resting on your thighs facing up.

Gently close down your eyes or lower your gaze and turn your focus inwards.

Place your attention on your breath and consciously begin to slow it down.

Lengthen your breath as you draw the air right down into your belly.

Then gently exhale in and out through your nose.

Notice how your muscles begin to relax and melt as you sink deeper into the space you're in.

Allow yourself to release and let go for this brief moment.

With each in-breath,

Repeat the word Nourish and with each out-breath,

Say the word Relax in your mind.

Nourish and Relax.

Breathing in Nourish and Breathing out Relax.

Imagine every cell in your body being nourished by the breath in.

And then imagine your muscles relaxing as you breathe out.

Repeat this process in your own time.

Breathing in and out.

Allowing your body to sink deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Nourish and Relax.

Doing your best to keep your breath even.

Breathing in Nourish and Breathing out Relax.

With this process,

Your nervous system is calming down.

You are sinking deeper and deeper into relaxation.

Allowing your nourishing breath to reach deep into your belly.

Breathing out through every cell of your body.

Relax.

This balance of breathing in and breathing out brings wellbeing to your body and mind.

Coming back into the space where you're in.

Noticing the chair underneath you.

The sounds in the room.

And the temperature of the air.

Take a moment to thank yourself for taking this time to nourish and relax your body.

Then when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Meet your Teacher

Concise, well-guided, and simple in the best of ways! I also appreciate the audio balance between the verbal instruction and background ambiance.

Perfect, short and easily done, no matter where one is. This relieves stress as soon as I start it! Perfect for the times when I don't have time, due to demands on my physical and mental state. 🧘🏽‍♂️
