You will be guided to connect with your body and emotions in a space of unconditional love and acceptance where your emotions can be expressed and processed to experience more ease and peace.

Hi,

And welcome to this healing meditation.

My name is Amanda Rodd,

And I have created this meditation to assist you in connecting with your body in a space of unconditional acceptance and love for the purpose of accessing peace and healing.

Let's begin.

Take a moment to get settled in the space you're in.

Focus on your breath and notice how the energy settles as you breathe in and out.

Turn your palms so that they are facing up and gently rest them on your lap.

Then cross your legs and sit or lie in a comfortable position to allow a flow of energy.

When any busy thoughts come in,

Bring your focus back to your breath.

Thank the thought for coming and then let it drift away.

Feel the ground underneath your feet and the chair or bed underneath you.

Allow your body to be held in this space so you can let go for the next few moments.

Feel the support all around you,

Knowing that it's safe to let go and be held.

This is a safe place to release and feel and take up space.

Come into the energetic space,

Anyone who is a protector,

A supportive guide or a wise person.

Invite your intuitive self into this space.

These people can be a part of your life now or an ancestor who has passed.

It may be a guide from your spiritual team,

Anyone who loves you unconditionally.

Invite them to be a part of this practice to co-create with you today.

Allow them to hold this space for you and receive their unconditional love and healing.

They are really happy to be here with us today.

Now begin to become aware of your emotions and bring to mind what you want to release.

It could be the feeling of sadness,

Unworthiness,

Fear or hopelessness.

It might be linked to a situation or a person in the past or it might be a part of you that wants to be seen and heard today.

I invite you to go into your body and scan your body.

Focus and be aware of any tightness or tension.

Go to that part of yourself that feels this emotion.

Bring your focus to that part of you that feels this way.

Remember to trust whatever first comes to mind,

There is no right or wrong here.

Allow yourself to be guided by your body.

Notice how it feels.

It might be a tightening,

A pressure,

You might feel restricted.

Allow that part of you to be what it is,

Without judgement,

Without needing to change it.

We are going to sit with that part of you that is feeling this way.

Notice the energy in that part of you,

Is it moving or still?

Is it heavy or light?

Notice any colours or shapes that come into your awareness.

Really connect with that part of you and go as deep as you can.

Breathe and allow,

Knowing that we won't stay here for long.

Allowing yourself to feel and connect with this part of you.

At this point you might like to take yourself back to a situation or experience in your mind,

Where you felt that emotion before.

Might be the earliest time that you can remember or an experience that really stands out.

Invite anyone involved in that experience to be here with us today.

Place your hands on that part of your body where that emotion is sitting or embrace yourself and hold yourself in a hug.

Let that part of you know that you are here as a witness and as a co-creator.

Holding space for that part of you to be and to be expressed.

Feel the love of your supportive team that you welcomed in,

In the beginning.

They are here with you now.

Breathe and receive their unconditional love and support.

Allow yourself to express this emotion in any way that feels good.

Really connect to that feeling in this safe space.

Allow yourself to cry if the tears are flowing.

This feeling might have a sound.

Feel free to express that sound now.

You might want to yell or make a noise.

You might want to shake your body.

Allow the emotion to be whatever it needs to be.

Remember that this is a part of you that was not able to be expressed at the time and now we are giving ourselves permission and space to really acknowledge this part of us to be seen and heard and felt.

Connect with that part of you and hear what it has to say.

Say it out loud or in your mind.

Stay with the emotion and connect with that part of you and notice what is happening in your body as this part of you expresses and feels and releases.

When this process is complete,

You will feel some sort of relief or peace around that experience or within you.

Sit with it and stay with it as long as you need to.

When you're ready,

I invite you to connect with the all-knowing part of you,

Your soul,

Your inner wisdom or intuition.

Notice where that part of you lies in your body today.

I invite you to connect this part with the emotional part you have been holding space for.

Invite these two parts to talk to each other.

What does your all-knowing part want to say?

Breathe and receive.

Say these words in your mind now.

Now I invite you to connect to your heart space,

That loving part of you.

What does your heart want to say?

Breathe and receive.

Allow the unconditional love to wash over you and infuse every part of your body.

When you connect to these parts and have them all communicating together,

There is a feeling of wholeness within you.

The part of you that feels powerless or unworthy or sad or afraid is able to sit in that circle of wholeness just as they are.

Every part of you has a space to be without being judged or without being made wrong.

All of you is welcome.

Feel the connection and the wholeness within you.

You may notice a lightness in your energy and a peaceful flow.

Breathe and receive the healing that has taken place today.

As you breathe,

Allow any residual emotions or sensations to release.

Breathe in the well-being.

Feel the love and connection with your support team that has been holding space today.

Thank all parts of you that have shown up today.

Thank yourself for being willing to feel,

Connect and hold space for yourself.

Find yourself some love now.

As we come to the end of this meditation,

Become aware of your surroundings.

Notice the temperature of the room,

The sounds all around you and the chair or bed underneath you.

Gently start to move your body in small ways.

Gently stretch your body and rotate your wrists and feet.

Take in a final deep breath and then slowly open your eyes.
