I love guided meditation and I love guiding so here is one just for you, just for the full moon. Let go and let the full moon do what full moons do - illuminate. Welcome to this full moon meditation for clarity and focus.

Let us be illuminated by this full moon.

Take a moment to find a beautiful level of comfort in which to receive this practice.

You might be seated in a chair,

You might be laying down on your bed or your yoga mat,

Or you might be out sitting on a train or a bus.

However you find yourself oriented,

Drape yourself over your support.

If you can comfortably do so,

Close your eyes.

Soften your body down into ground,

Down into the earthiness beneath you.

And feel your breath entering and exiting your nostrils.

And take a moment here to feel and experience one full inhalation,

Followed by one full exhalation in your own time.

Softening the features of your face,

The back of your head,

The nape of your neck,

Draping your arms,

Feeling into the palms of your hands,

Your buttocks softening,

The musculature of your legs releasing,

Softening the soles of your feet,

Your belly and your chest.

And now direct your awareness to the point between your two eyebrows,

And begin to see and sense a white orb of radiant light.

See this white orb of radiant light about six feet away from your body.

And as you inhale,

Let this orb of light come towards you and let it rest about 30 centimetres away from your eyebrow centre.

And as you exhale,

Gently press that orb of light back to that six feet mark.

Inhaling the orb of light back in.

Exhaling and release it back out.

And the next time you inhale,

Bring that light in and let it rest in and around the realm of the body.

And now let's direct the light emanating,

Radiating from this moon into the body.

Feel the power of the moon affecting the tides,

Affecting your body.

The power of the moon,

What is being illuminated and what is standing out as being most important to you on this full moon.

Is there a healing?

Is there a releasing?

Is the moon bringing a sense of sustenance?

And now become aware of your feet.

And as you inhale,

Feel the emanating light of this moon releasing into your nostrils and down to the soles of your feet.

And as you exhale,

Allow the light residing in the feet to radiate out in all directions.

Breathing in the light of the moon into the feet and exhaling,

Letting the feet radiate and pulsate.

One more breath just like that.

And now let your awareness leave your feet and begin to move up into the realm of the buttocks,

The upper thighs,

The hips.

Inhaling the radiance from the moon into your nostrils and down into the bowl of the pelvis.

Exhaling and allow this area of the body to radiate out in all directions.

Inhaling.

Exhaling and releasing tension and tightness,

Releasing what you no longer need from the base.

Letting go,

Letting go and moving into a sense of safety and groundedness,

Connectedness to our tribe.

And then feeling your way into the lower abdomen,

The region of the sacrum.

And then seeing that moonlight gently wafting into your nostrils on an inhalation,

Being directed down into the sacrum,

Down into the lower abdomen.

And as you exhale,

Releasing out 360 degrees,

Letting go,

Letting go,

Letting go.

Inhaling that pure white radiance,

Clearing the sacral region,

Sensing into your creative inspirations,

Your life force energy,

Your lower dantian.

One more breath here.

Inhaling,

Receiving and releasing.

And then lifting your awareness to the Manipura chakra,

The centre of the upper abdomen,

The solar plexus,

Your inner sun.

And let the moonlight join together with your inner sun,

Inhaling and exhaling,

Clearing the energy of the solar plexus,

Purifying,

Illuminating.

Inhaling and exhaling.

And sensing into your inner radiance,

Your inner will,

The way you shine your light into the world.

And then a gentle upturn and feeling into the centre of the chest,

The anahata.

And feeling the eminence from the moon,

Drifting into your nostrils as you breathe in and down into your heart.

And as you exhale,

Feel the moonlight clearing the way of the chest,

The upper to middle back,

The armpits,

The breasts,

Your own compassionate heart.

Inhaling and exhaling and feeling into your kind-heartedness.

Your loving heart.

Awareness drifting to the throat,

The vishuddhi.

Inhaling into the throat centre and feeling the light of the moon pooling at the throat.

And then exhaling,

Clearing the throat and the neck of any kind of discomfort,

Any contraction,

Opening the ears,

The mouth,

The throat,

The neck.

White,

Purifying,

Radiant light pouring into the throat.

Awareness moving into the centre of the head,

The ajna or ajna chakra.

Letting the light of the moon drift into your nostrils and up into your ajna.

Exhaling and clearing vision.

Sensing an open 360 degree view,

An awareness of all of life.

Clearing and filling in equal measure.

And then sensing your awareness drift to the crown and sense that ball of moonlight.

Land at the crown of the head and descend.

Descend into the crown connecting us with the skies and the moon.

The stars and the milky way and let that begin to fill the form of this body now.

Sensing all of the little satellites,

All of the little bindus,

Filling your body with the shreem,

The chandra,

The moon.

Inhaling and exhaling.

Beginning to circulate the moonlight now from the base of the spine,

Up the back of the spine on your inhalation,

All the way to the crown.

Exhaling your awareness down through the crown and along the front of the spine.

Inhaling up,

Back of the spine,

Back of the body.

Exhaling front of the body.

One more breath just like that.

And then let go,

Open to this moment.

When you feel ready,

Deepen the breath in the nostrils.

Flood the body with brand new prana and light and radiance and illumination.

Open your eyes and remain still and sense clarity and focus become you.
