Hello and welcome to this guided meditation experience into the energy of the unknown.
To begin,
Gently close down your eyes and connect to three long,
Deep,
Diaphragmatic breaths,
Grounding and centering yourself in the here and now.
Allow every exhale to release a little bit more of the energy.
Let the past a little bit more of anything you're holding onto.
And using the length of your exhale to ride as if you were surfing a gentle wave into the shoreline of relaxation.
And if you enjoy the visualization of connecting ocean waves to your breathing,
Allow the inhale to draw the water back into the body,
Into the abyss of the ocean.
And let your exhale be the release of the wave,
Reaching as far up the shoreline as possible and drawing the breath and the water back in.
Let go of the past.
Let go of that visualization just for a moment.
And bring your awareness to your feeling body.
How does it feel to be you right now?
And if you selected this meditation,
Perhaps you are standing on the bridge between the known and unknown,
The transition point into newness,
Into change.
And as humans,
We are hardwired to adapt.
We are hardwired to be able to embrace change and ride the wave whatever the size,
Whatever the speed.
And that is part of the fun of being a human.
Usually,
Anytime something unexpected comes into your life,
Somehow you are able to meet it.
So give yourself a few moments to reflect on how when change knocks at your door,
We are creatures of habit.
And we really enjoy sticking to things that are familiar.
So give yourself a few breaths to reflect on your own day-to-day patterns,
Maybe even down to the most simple of tasks that fill each and every day.
And stay connected to your breathing while you contemplate.
And please meet these patterns without judgment,
Without labeling good or bad,
Right or wrong.
We are just simply here to observe our innate humanness and the miracle of the mind and how truly incredible it is to learn and to develop these habits and patterns over time.
Thank you.
And bring your attention back into your body,
Perhaps landing in a space of calm,
Such as the rhythmic rising and falling of your diaphragm with your breathing.
And bring one hand into your belly and the other into your heart space,
Gently pressing your palms into your skin.
And greet the unknown within you,
That feeling of I don't know what's coming next or I don't know where I'm going next.
And really take a moment to give yourself what you need,
Asking simply,
What do I need right now to feel whole and complete?
What do I need right now to feel whole and complete?
What do I need right now?
The unknown can be unsettling for the body,
So perhaps using your hands as a symbol and sign of affection from yourself and you can gently begin to caress or stroke your heart or belly space.
Whatever feels good,
Tell your being everything is going to be okay.
Let your body know that you're here for it and you care about it and you're not going to abandon it.
Though you don't know what's on the horizon just yet,
You can commit to your body,
To your soul,
That we're a package deal.
And whatever happens,
I will take care of you.
And breathe in and out for five breaths,
Loving compassion to your body.
And breathe in and out for five breaths,
Loving compassion to your body.
And breathe in and out for five breaths,
Loving compassion to your body.
And breathe in and out for five breaths,
Loving compassion to your body.
And now bring both of your hands,
Interlaced,
Palms facing your chest to gently rest over your heart space in what's called trust mudra.
And the interlaced fingers representing a knitting and bringing together of all of the pieces of yourself into your heart space.
And as you breathe deeply,
Let the air fill into the hands.
And on your exhale,
Allow a sense of peace to come over your being.
And even if it's difficult to believe in this moment,
Give yourself one minute of confidence in who you are.
Confidence in yourself as a human being is a walking multicellular miracle,
Experiencing this incredible evolution of consciousness.
Our hearts connecting to our minds,
Taking us on this journey into the unknown and into the beauty of this human experience.
Breathing in deeply and exhaling long and slow,
I am a walking miracle.
Sustainability & Gently bow your chin into your chest,
Giving yourself a nod of recognition,
A nod of gratitude for showing up and communicating with yourself today.
And let your hands gracefully and comfortably fall back into your lap.
Sit up straight,
Bring your shoulders up and back and down in a gesture of relaxation.
And spread through the collarbones,
Feeling your heart light shining so brightly.
Though there's darkness ahead,
You always have your light gracefully falling just before your feet.
And though the unknown can be dark,
All you have to be aware of is each step that's lit just before you.
Gently bow your chin into your chest,
Giving yourself a nod of recognition,
A nod of gratitude for showing up and communicating with yourself today.
And let your hands gracefully and comfortably fall back into your lap.
Please take your time moving back into the rest of your day.
And may you feel the peace of your being gracefully dancing with you into the unknown.
May you feel the peace of your being gracefully dancing with you today.
May you feel the peace of your being gracefully dancing with you today.
Thank you.
