Welcome back to the farm,

Farmily.

This is Farmer Al,

Here to guide you in a beginner nada yoga practice.

Nada or nadam is the art of listening to the one common factor all energy has,

Which is vibration.

This nada or cosmic music is always playing,

So to tap into this energy all we have to do is listen.

And as we listen,

We are able to leave the more mechanical or lower vibrations and rise up into the more subtle,

Ethereal vibrations.

And as we continue to practice,

We can listen to that voice of silence,

Which is what nada is pointing to,

Which is that energy without vibration.

Anahata nada,

Our heart-based nada yoga,

Is the energy of transformation,

Which allows us to experience our one true self.

Aum is the cause of all of these cycles,

And it is broken up into three core sounds.

Ah,

Which is manifestation,

Ooh,

Which is growth,

Or mm,

Which is perfection.

Every living being is in one or more of these cycles.

This is what unites and connects all of us.

We are all in the Aum.

And as we begin to realize this,

We understand that you are that rhythm,

And that rhythm is you.

So let us begin by connecting with the beat of our hearts,

Not only individually but collectively.

Connect with our breath,

And allow our body to relax.

Invite our bodies to relax completely as you get as comfortable as possible.

As your body starts to settle,

Turn your attention to your mind.

Invite your mind to settle.

As your mind settles,

Turn your attention to just simply listening to the sounds around you.

In ancient texts,

The yogis suggested that the first sounds that you will hear will be of the mechanical.

These mechanical noises are of lower vibration and often draw our attention first.

To train our minds,

We allow ourselves to listen fully to these lower vibrational sounds.

And as we're ready,

Allowing our minds to go to even subtler sounds.

And as our mind hears a more louder sound,

We always allow ourselves to practice going back to the subtler sounds.

As we rise above the mechanical,

We turn to the natural,

Allowing these sounds to come into our being,

Possibly identifying them,

But then always moving on,

Never getting stuck to one particular sound or another.

This practice allows us to train our mind to focus its attention on whatever vibration we need to focus on in this moment.

As we go from sound to sound,

These sounds are no longer identifiable and sometimes merge into a harmonic vibration.

Allow yourself to listen to all the sounds that surround you for a few moments.

As you start to answer the phone to your awareness,

You start to settle back into yourself.

This feels like coming home,

Settling back into our spines,

Settling back into the essential essence or sound of our being.

We listen deeply to this reality and it gently allows us to leave the cares and concerns and worries of our physical world,

Imagining that we are in some sort of craft,

An airplane going on vacation,

A spaceship,

Our dear mother earth ship,

A balloon that will float you across the clear blue skies,

Or the starry night,

Allowing ourselves to rise up beyond our cares,

Concerns,

And worries or problems of this world.

We get to merge with the infinite nature of space.

This space allows us to clear our minds and drift gently off to a safe celestial slumber.

This nata vibration sets,

Aligns,

And organizes every cell of our being.

There should be a peace,

Calm,

And cellular smile seeping over every fiber of your being.

If you drift off to sleep,

That is absolutely perfect and your body can continue to rest and restore in exactly the way it needs to heal.

Allow your body to continue,

Allow it to heal on every single level,

And allow yourself to embrace your perfect pattern,

Your divine birthright.

As you continue to practice this art of listening,

You might start to hear some inner music or possibly drift off into a light or dance dream.

These are all manifestations of nata and allow you to deepen your practice even further to the fullest realization of yourself.

Know that we are always here for you and that the farm and the farmily loves you.

Till next time everybody,

May the light and love and gratitude shine through to all of you and bless you with its presence always.

Thank you for joining us here at Friendly Ass Farm.

You can continue to loop this practice as you drift off into a splendid sleep.

Namaste,

Sweet dreams,

Everybody.

The light in me honors the light in you always.

Shanti,

Shanti,

Shanti om,

Peace.
