Welcome to this rattle sound healing meditation for grief and illness.

Find a comfortable position where your body feels supported.

This might be lying down with pillows,

Sitting in your favorite chair,

Or however feels right for your body today.

Close your eyes gently or slightly lower your gaze and take three deep breaths with me.

The sound you're hearing is a sacred rattle used for thousands of years across many cultures for healing and ceremony.

Today we invite is ancient wisdom to hold space for your journey through grief and illness.

Place one hand on your heart if it's comfortable.

Feel your heartbeat,

This steady rhythm that continues even through your darkest days,

Even when your body faces challenges.

I honor the sacred rhythm of my life in all its seasons of joy and sorrow.

Let the rattles voice remind you that you are not alone.

Countless others have sat with similar sounds seeking comfort in similar pain.

You are part of an ancient tradition of healing and resilience.

Now we'll use the rattle to create a sacred healing circle around you.

As you listen,

Imagine the sound waves forming a protective,

Loving boundary around your space.

These sounds call in the energy of the East,

New beginnings,

Hope,

And the promise of dawn,

Even in your grief.

Feel this energy surrounding you.

We welcome new possibilities for healing and peace.

From the South comes warmth,

Growth,

And the courage to feel deeply.

Let this energy wrap around you like a gentle blanket.

I have the courage to feel everything I need to feel.

The West brings the wisdom of letting go,

Like the setting sun releasing the day.

Feel this gentle energy of release flowing around you.

I release what I cannot control,

What love and acceptance.

From the North comes strength,

Endurance,

And ancient wisdom.

Feel these qualities settling around you like mountain strength.

I am stronger than I know,
