Hello and welcome to another meditation.
This one is for a scattered mind to soothe the thoughts and to just really come into that calm space.
This meditation is inspired by just an experience that I have myself because this morning I woke up and you know I wanted to get into my routine but it didn't really flow and I got distracted and I was thinking of all the things I wanted to do and was using technology a little bit too much.
I couldn't focus on my morning meditation itself.
I usually just listen to some music and sit but that didn't flow and so I continued and like was sitting and researching some stuff very shortly after waking and drinking coffee like all of that didn't really help to you know calm me down and get me into that state of centeredness and so this meditation is a little bit for myself but also for you because I could imagine that yeah we all have these experiences and we often wake up and you know the routine is maybe not flowing as we would like it to just because we're in a different head space which doesn't mean that we can't recalibrate and take some conscious time to really center and if you're listening to this and you're just you know starting your day that's also perfect this is just really designed to recenter and to come into that calm space from where we can act throughout the day just with awareness and really integrity and just calmness which is really important to me because I can feel the difference between not meditating in the morning and meditating in the morning.
It makes such a difference and I feel less anxious and you know just this feeling of it feels really hectic inside of myself for some reason when I don't meditate maybe you can relate to that so this is really where this meditation shall help and I'm just letting you know that you know I don't even prepare so much for these meditations they just come through in the moment and so I'm calling in just help from spirit world and myself my higher self to guide us through this and I really breathe into my heart so that I come back to the center to this inner compass guidance system and not all of my energy is accumulated in my mind in my brain which it feels like right now just like a storm like a little snowstorm with all these pieces just going a bit crazy.
Okay if you want to take a seat and close your eyes we're going to a little bit of grounding and then you know just breathing and probably a bit of guided visualization.
Okay so take your seat and close your eyes and take a few lovely deep breaths.
Can you soften into this experience?
Can you accept what is going on for you?
Can you just observe with awareness that your mind feels a bit scattered the thoughts are everywhere and nowhere jumping from one to the other.
Just observe what's going on how you're feeling and where the energy is accumulated right now.
Is it in your head in your forehead or somewhere else in your body?
This meditation is about the mind mostly so that's probably where it sits now.
Just know that you don't have to act upon these nudges and thoughts.
They're allowed to be there and it's natural in our world of technology,
Social media that the attention span is a little bit shorter.
Just observe it with loving awareness.
And feel into your forehead,
Let your forehead smooth out and with that the scattered thoughts are smoothing out as well.
Can envision it as lines of frequencies and how these waves get slower and slower.
With you taking deeper and deeper breaths.
And if you hear noises outside of this experience just observe them as well.
They are a part of this moment,
They're allowed to be here too.
They're just there,
No judgment,
No story behind it,
They're just there.
Can you bring some awareness into the rest of your body now and generally soften?
Not be so hard on yourself.
You're allowed to relax and just be.
Notice how your arms just lay maybe on your knees or wherever you have placed them.
They're allowed to just be.
Just like your legs in whatever position they're in now.
Allow them to just be.
And your upper body moving with the inhales and exhales expanding and contracting.
Allow it to just be.
It is a sign of softening,
I invite you to take a big sigh.
Good.
I feel like there are a few more needed here.
Another two,
Breathe in and out.
Soften your body and breathe in once again and exhale.
Beautiful.
And if you can feel some energy still stirring in your head just like me now,
I invite you to relax your jaw.
Relax the space around your eyes.
Can you even relax your eyeballs?
And your forehead.
Know that you're safe to do so.
Just soften and practice presence in this moment.
This moment is all that is.
All our days.
A gathering of hundreds,
Thousands of little moments in the present.
And as a symbol of receiving,
I invite you to turn your hands if you haven't done that yet anyways upwards so that the palms face upwards.
And what we're receiving here is calmness.
In state,
I am calm,
In your mind or out loud.
We receive centeredness.
You can feel it in your core or in your heart,
Wherever you feel that.
I am centered.
Again,
You can repeat it out loud or in your own mind.
And we receive openness.
I am open.
In softness,
I am soft.
And observe what your body's reaction is to that.
Is it contracting or is it expanding?
Allow your body to receive this information.
Download it and transmute it.
I am loving.
Awareness is what comes through.
It wants to be repeated here three times.
Just awareness for everything.
The thoughts,
The environment,
All that is happening in the now and will happen in future now moments.
You can repeat again out loud or in your own mind.
I am loving awareness.
I am loving awareness.
I am loving awareness.
And breathe that in.
Fill up your whole system with this love.
And breathe it out.
Again,
Breathe that in.
And breathe it out.
And if there's any emotion coming up,
Any discomfort,
Let it be.
Give it space to be felt.
Good.
I am loving awareness.
And now can you bring attention to what has shifted since you came in here in this now present moment?
How are you feeling differently?
Where is your energy center?
Where do you want it to be?
I want it to be in my heart so I focus on my heart and feel the energy accumulating here as the center of my being.
And throughout your day,
If you feel like you're getting back a lot in your head,
Then just feel into this heart space as your energy center.
You can envision a bright golden light shining out of your heart and guiding you through this experience.
Beautiful.
In your own time,
You can bring some awareness back into your body and just become aware of your surroundings where you are right now and take another deep breath to end this practice.
You can gently open your eyes.
