Hi my love.

Come and sit with me for a couple moments.

Come and sit with yourself.

Let's begin by just paying our attention to the breath,

Without trying to change it,

Just noticing it.

How does it feel when the air enters your nostrils?

Can you notice the gentle pause between your inhale and your exhale?

How does it feel when the air exits your body?

The contraction and expansion as a reminder of the constant flow of life.

We might experience a reality as in the past and in the future but breath is what happens in the now and it can be your anchor to return to the inner self,

To the constant self,

To the self beyond concepts,

Ideas,

Likes and dislikes.

The self that is love,

Ever-present,

Eternal love.

Allow yourself to breathe with more space and perhaps even with more curiosity,

Letting your body gently follow the rhythm of your breath.

And as you anchor in your breath,

In your life force energy,

I invite you to place one hand or two hands on your heart if that feels supportive for you in this moment.

As you continue breathing and feeling the rising and lowering of your chest with your hands or hands,

I invite you to think or feel or just remember anything or anyone that represents love for you.

And perhaps not love as in butterflies and passion which it also can be,

But love that is compassion,

Understanding,

Seeing,

Feeling,

Witnessing someone or something in their true form.

And if love for some reason does not feel accessible to you at this moment,

Can you think of something you would like to give into this world?

Whether it is for the people around you,

The animals,

The nature,

Anyone and anything,

Can you feel into this one thing you would like to create more of in your life and in the life around you?

And as you float in this space of kindness,

Compassion,

Light and eventually love,

What can you notice in your body?

And even if there is absence of anything that you might be looking for,

Can you notice just that,

The space,

The emptiness that is never empty but is there to hold space for something?

My invitation for you is to just see if you can make space for whatever surfaces for you in this moment or for whatever is not surfacing for you.

Allow yourself to just be.

And I would like to offer you a piece of contemplation and my invitation for you is to allow yourself to be carried by this piece of contemplation throughout your day or perhaps an hour,

Perhaps a week.

I invite you to contemplate on what would love do?

What would love say?

And even when love feels hidden,

Unacceptable,

Painful even,

It is still there because you are love itself.

You are not separate from it.

You cannot be detached from it.

You can sometimes not see it clearly.

It might be hidden but it's always there.

And as we gently close off this practice,

See if you can allow yourself to be carried by love,

Whatever the expression of love is for you.

Can you just allow love?

And now I invite you to take a deep breath in through the nose and out through the mouth with a sigh.

In through the nose,

Hold at the top and release with a sigh.

You may find gentle movement in your body,

Gentle shakes,

Stretches,

Maybe even yawns,

Any kind of movement or sound that your body wants to release right now.

Allow this movement to be the anchor back into this reality.

And a gentle reminder that your experience of the self does not have to stay in this practice.

You can carry it with you always to your normal human life,

To cooking,

To showering,

To driving a car,

To having a disagreement with someone.

You can live your life with love and in love because you are love.
