This is Alisha Davis,

And I welcome you to Soundbites for Serenity.

Today our theme is this magic moment.

We've all had experiences when we were children of believing in magic.

Believing in things that could not be seen or understood.

Believing in the possibility of the unknown.

In this magic moment,

We're going to explore how to create openness and opportunities in any given moment,

In any particular day.

This magic moment means that when we're paying full attention,

That we see and hear and feel and understand concepts,

Thoughts,

Interactions,

Connections,

In ways that we might have missed had we not been paying full attention.

So in today's guided relaxation,

I would like to share with you a very simple way that you can create more magic in more of your moments every day.

So begin by aligning your body to support your breath and to help you connect with your thinking.

So sitting easily and gently on your chair with your feet on the floor,

Spine nice and long.

Head gently resting on top of the spine.

Now just very gently allow your eyes to close and take a long deep inhale in.

And as you do that,

Breathe in all of your current worries,

Hopes and dreams.

Hold it for a moment.

Then gently and slowly sigh it out.

One more time.

Take a nice deep breath in.

And release any remaining tension that you might be noticing in your body or mind.

And exhale fully.

Now as you begin to relax,

Just allow your mind to settle.

And notice that as thoughts arise,

Those thoughts are most likely about the past or about the future.

So as you're noticing the thought coming up,

Just simply label it past or future.

So now allow the thought to just move through your mind.

And as the thought moves off,

Notice the space around it.

Silent.

Still.

Here.

Now.

Surrender into this silent,

Vast presence.

Another thought arises.

Don't resist it.

Again,

Just label it past or future.

And just notice if your mind is wandering off into thoughts,

Into sensations that are happening in your body,

Or your feelings.

Just notice if your mind is wandering.

Don't let that be a problem.

Just notice the thoughts and allow them to float away like clouds in a big blue sky.

Allow thoughts.

Allow silence.

Allow everything.

So breathing in and breathing out,

Fully and easily.

So today,

As you go through your day,

Notice if you can bring more attention to any particular moment by becoming more aware and more present.

Many blessings and prosperity today.
