Hello and welcome to this guided meditation for mothers.
I am so grateful and honored to have you here with me today.
This is great that you're taking this time just for yourself.
So be full in and enjoy the ride.
Let's start by sitting comfortably in a chair,
A couch or if you prefer you can lie down.
If you're sitting have both feet on the ground,
The spine straight but not tight and relaxed and you can close your eyes.
For the next few minutes I'll invite you to focus just on your breath.
Breathing in through the nose and out through the mouth and try to slow down as much as you can your breath.
And while you focus on your breath if any thoughts come to you it's okay you have the right to be here.
Just don't dwell on them,
Let them go.
Now you're going to relax and I'm going to just invite you to really appreciate you taking this time for yourself.
When we wear the hat of a mom,
Of a wife,
Of a daughter,
A sister or any other hats you may wear life can get overwhelming and tiring but with you taking this first time in meditation today is a great step for you to feel better,
More empowered and grounded.
So be really gentle with yourself and acknowledge you taking this time for yourself.
This is amazing,
You have made it so far,
You have taken the choice to meditate and you are here.
So enjoy it the fullest.
Forget about all the worries,
You are here now,
You're safe,
You're looking after yourself and by looking after yourself you're looking after the rest of your family.
You deserve this time,
You're worth taking time for yourself.
I congratulate you for being here and I invite you now still focusing on your breath to put a smile on your face and be grateful,
Be happy for what you're doing right now for yourself.
When you put a smile on your face even if you're not feeling so great,
A smile can change a lot.
It changes your hormones,
It changes your mindset.
A simple smile goes a long way.
Keep the smile up and breathe in into it.
I appreciate this time for you.
You are here,
You're safe and you have no worries.
Right here,
Right now is just for yourself.
Continue breathing,
Relaxing and enjoying this time.
Any thoughts coming?
It's totally fine,
Just let them go.
Just thank them for being here but let them go and say I don't need you right now.
Breathe in and out,
Feel the inhale going through your nose,
Your throat and the exhale going through your mouth.
Just breathe and smile.
You are perfect,
You are worth being here,
You're worth taking this time for yourself.
You are a great mum,
A great person.
Nobody can tell you otherwise.
You are confident and you know you can achieve whatever you want if you change your mindset one step at a time,
Every day a little thing,
Something to remind you that you're safe,
You're great,
You're perfect.
You have a choice every day to focus on the negative or the positive and even in the negative there's always something to take from it.
Be curious,
Have fun.
You can be a mum,
You can be a woman,
You can be a wife,
You can be anything you want and live the life you want on your own terms.
I want you to smile and know that you're held,
Supported and you're not alone.
Get this daily intention of meditating,
Getting better,
Taking time for yourself,
Whatever that is for you that you really need right now.
Just set an intention and stick to it for the next seven days or maybe next month or month.
Every small step count.
Don't be harsh on yourself,
You are doing great.
Breathe in and out,
Stay with me for another while.
Think of all the beautiful things in your life and thank them.
Be grateful.
Just focus on what's good.
What have you achieved?
What are you proud of?
What make you happy?
Stay connected to these thoughts and images.
Just breathe in and out slowly and stay connected to the ground and to your present self.
Nothing else matters but you here and now.
Now I invite you to take the biggest,
Deepest breath you've ever taken today.
Big breath in through the nose and a big sigh through the mouth.
Repeat.
When you're ready,
Just open your eyes and move your body naturally the way it wants to move without thinking.
Just bring back energy and movement to your body.
