This meditation is in honor of Yom Kippur,

The Day of Forgiveness meditation to help you cleanse your mind and emotions in this holy day.

In a comfortable seat,

Comfortable,

Tall,

Having your breath flowing,

Arriving in the now,

Arriving in the here,

Observing your breath,

Setting the intention to connect with all the things that connect and is within you.

Maybe in your subconscious,

Maybe in your forehead,

Relationship with people,

With family,

With friends.

Is there anyone out there you think you may have hurt?

Anyone maybe angry at you?

And it may be recent or from a very,

Very long time ago.

You may feel injustice.

Try to visualize them and as you do so,

Notice any anger rising.

Maybe they have hurt you.

Maybe you feel you're not the one to blame.

But get off the idea of finding right or wrong.

We are here to dissolve,

To meditate and destroy.

So if there is someone in this world that you think you may be able to ask forgiveness to,

Let's say you're sorry.

Visualize them with your mind and envision yourself forgiving them with a hug,

More gentle touch,

A pat on the back,

A bowing,

Whatever it is.

See yourself forgiving them.

And yes,

It may be difficult,

Yet it's only in your mind.

Smile.

Feel the connection or the disconnection.

This dissolving,

Dissolving bad feeling.

Dissolving negativity.

You can stay here with that person for a little while longer or invite anyone else.

That you may need to say sorry to give a hug or that you may ask for forgiveness.

And maybe setting the intention to communicate with those people via phone or letter or email.

Express your wanting to ease the relationship,

Expressing that you're sorry.

And wishing joy,

Wishing happiness to the both of you as you move on to a better era.

It is negative to hold harsh feelings toward people,

Whether it's always or once in a while.

It is so much better to let them go,

Those feelings of anger and justice.

And maybe you are holding anger toward people,

Resentment,

Hard feelings.

Can you find that within you?

Notice how it is within that body.

Visualize that person that creates this in you.

And avoid going into the story.

Drop while you're right or wrong.

Focus on the sensation in your body,

Not on the mind talking.

What do you find as you do this?

How's the sensation disappearing as you're not feeling anger anymore?

And try to find forgiveness,

Recognizing that no matter what,

It's better to be kind than to be right.

It's better to let go and clean your energy than to hold on and have murky energy separating you from other people,

Creating more separation,

More privilege to be there.

Give those people a hug.

Forgive them within your heart.

You don't have to share that with them.

You may create just more anger.

They may not remember the resentment they created.

Maybe they don't understand.

But it does not matter.

The anger lays within you and this is the one you want to get rid of.

Don't blame it on somebody else.

Hold forgiveness for yourself as you hold your anger and then allow it to dissolve.

Find compassion within your heart toward yourself and towards that person.

Open your heart to love,

Recognize love and know that the intention behind it of harming you maybe wasn't within the control of that person.

Don't judge.

Release,

Release,

Release.

Release,

Release.

Scanning your mind and heart for any other person that may have arisen anger in you.

Or that you need to feel more compassion toward.

Allow your heart to open to acceptance of people,

Whoever they are.

Release that need to change others,

To make them see your truth,

Releasing that desire for them to say they are sorry.

Let that go.

Let that go.

Let that go.

Accept,

Be compassionate.

You don't need to change it all.

No perfection is necessary.

Sit within yourself with the intention of kindness and compassion and joy.

In this way you'll save your energy to spread love,

To share compassion and kindness.

Helping others in this way,

In a positive way.

Helping yourself.

Clearing negativity.

Dissolving negativity.

All hurt us and we hurt people.

We think we are separate,

But we are not.

We are all in the same ocean.

We are all in the same energy.

We are all in the same pain.

Not different.

All just like you.

And so release any effort to hold on to grudge.

Release any effort to hold on to anger.

And see it.

See it without dissolving.

Find forgiveness for things you have done wrong.

To the planet.

To nature around you.

Animals,

Plants and minerals.

Hold this behaviour that show callousness.

Don't be disurfer.

You know you're not perfect.

Maybe you didn't act with integrity.

But see those things and promise yourself to do the best.

To not act again and again in those same way.

But to become different.

To act differently.

To change your pattern.

To change the way you've been with nature.

Animal plant and mineral.

With people.

And see yourself perfect.

See yourself in those situations when you have a tendency to be imperfect.

And with your mind envision yourself doing it right.

With perfection.

In your acts.

Or maybe sometimes it's in you're not acting the way you've had.

Recognize yourself as your perfect self.

Acting with integrity.

Not getting angry.

Giving more hugs.

Giving more smile.

Converting your weakness into strengths.

Recognizing yourself to act better in your whole life.

In all the side of your life.

From what you heed to what you say to what you do.

And see yourself going about life with ease,

Love,

Compassion and kindness for all beings.

All things.

All minerals.

All plants.

All animals.

The planet and its inhabitants.

You walk through with power.

The power of the better person.

The power of the good person that you are.

Letting go of any conditioning that is stopping you from being perfect as you are.

From acting kindly to all.

And remind yourself that you're here on this planet and you can set an example.

You can start showing the way to others by changing yourself.

By accepting who you really are and changing those conditioning.

Anyway,

Do not be too hard on yourself.

Remember you're learning.

We are all practicing being good human beings.

May we all be loving to ourselves.

May we all be loving to others.

May we all be loving to all things.

Maybe bringing your palms together,

Bow to your intention.

We can do this meditation over and over again this week,

This month or this year.

Thank you.

Thank you for your practice.

Be happy and free some suffering.
