Receipt yourself even even more comfortably maybe you want to adjust your knees or your pillow make sure your spine is long and place those hands on your heart one on top of another no gripping just kindness care softness and here you are in that place in your heart connecting with your breath noticing how long are you in house today how many seconds and noticing the pose at the top of the inhale and then the beginning of the exhale the middle of the exhale the end of the exhale and the pose right there at the bottom of the exhale that pose and then inhale again that rhythm may be disturbed here and there by your dog barking in the background your children your roommate on the street no bother just keep connecting with the length of each inhale suppose at the top the length of each exhale the complete end and emptiness of your lungs that pose it's like being in up knee and the inhale again keep going like this be as curious as possible be as curious as a five years old I will say absolutely nothing else to attend to just this moment these breaths and that one and you may expand your awareness to release a whole torso and you could even slide one of your hand toward your belly button or your waist whatever feels more comfortable and so you have a hand on the heart a hand on the waist and as you inhale notice the hand on the heart and as you excel notice the hand on the belly waist expansion with the inhale grounding with the exhale and continue bringing your attention back right between those two hands softening any part of the body's a distance and as usual if touching your belly is hard feel free to have a little blanket or pillow against your belly so it it works better and let's say we take ten more breaths like that and you could bring in I am and whatever you need to feel so let's say you start with the inhale and the hand on the heart I am and as you excel moving down toward your belly strong for example I am calm I am centered whatever comes to your mind it could be I am beautiful I am happy keep going and you'll have a few minutes where I will be silent and you will just be able to say I am da da da the world could change the world could say the same between the breath and the mantra I'm hoping you don't have too many distraction but if you do just come back come back slowly and maybe phrase it oh I am distracted and notice how it passes thoughts come and go just like the breath and eventually now pay attention to the sensation of your hands really letting go of the mantra letting go of the attention to the breath and bringing a curious eye to the sensation of your finger touching the fabric of your closing maybe it's soft maybe it's pokey or itchy grindy whatever it is our both hands feeling the same do you have different fabric always because one hand is up and one hand is down is different notice the temperature I'm curious even about each finger there a finger more heavy than the others and some of you may be holding something in one hand and not in the other so as you do that instead of feeling the guilt of drinking tea feel the sensation of drinking it how is that moving the hand around the cup all the tea inside your throat thoroughly aware of sensation as much as you can and maybe allow both hands to rest now on your lap so notice how they meet one another what's your habit are you just dropping one on top of the other are you interlacing the finger what is going on you hand soft and notice how soft feels to you you let's take another three breaths just like that assessing your body and its sensation and then now let's take three more breaths assessing your emotional self how are you doing in your heart don't go looking for stories just simple heart feeling will be enough don't go compare it to a moment ago just now and notice your thoughts as well with the next three breaths how's the mind behaving just in this instant is it bubbly like champagne how gentle like the lake and letting go of that place slowly open your eyes and come ready to meet yourself here
