So,
Just right away noticing how the breath takes us down and in.
This amazing part of being alive.
Breathing happens on its own or we can begin to notice it,
We can begin to consciously deepen it or change how we breathe.
So just inviting you to enjoy some breaths.
Take control for a little while of this breath of life.
And use the breath to create space in the body,
Softness,
Letting go on the exhale.
Inviting in curiosity on the inhale.
What do you need today from this practice time?
Taking a breath into the heart and letting it open a little bit into kindness and forgiveness.
And acknowledging that underneath all of those things is a part of us that's deeply still.
So just feeling the presence of deep stillness,
A place from which all things arise and go back to.
Stillness between breaths,
Between thoughts.
And while you allow for the presence of this stillness,
Just in training your body to let go,
Inviting it to surrender anywhere where there's tension or holding.
Just gently feeling around sensations of your body with the breath and with this deep sense of stillness and letting the tension just melt away as you draw a breath in and out.
So we're going to do a sip,
Sip,
Sigh breath today.
And again,
If at any time you need to relax and return to normal breathing,
That's okay.
We're going to breathe like this.
Sip,
Sip,
Sigh.
Sip,
Sip,
Sigh.
Belly,
Chest out.
Draw your pelvic floor up.
Let it expand in your heart.
Let your mind relax.
And just sigh your breath out back into the empty space.
Let that energy rise up into your heart.
Relax the upper body.
Hold that breath in as long as you like.
And when you're ready,
Exhale and just surrender into stillness.
Pause on inhaling.
And just enjoy the emptiness.
And after this,
Inhale and hold.
Raise it all the way up.
Lift it to the sky.
And sigh it out with your voice.
Let your voice come all the way out.
Let your throat open wide.
Let your ears relax.
Take a nice deep inhale.
Raise it up from the roots.
Hold it as long as you like.
And when you're ready,
Exhale into emptiness.
And stay in the out-breath one last time.
When you get to that point where you want to breathe,
Relax a little bit more.
And just letting your creative imagination take you to a place in your mind's eye.
Magical,
Where you feel empowered and grounded,
Expansive.
And at ease,
Just notice the detail of this place.
Notice how it feels to be there.
And then inviting in the presence of all the forces seen and unseen in your life that guide you and support you.
Just allowing the presence of those energies to fill this space with you in a way that's comforting and supportive.
Feeling the truth that you're never alone,
Always being held.
And from all of those energies,
Allowing a guide to come forth.
And imagining a guide that knows you deeply,
That loves you unconditionally.
And just take a moment to acknowledge the presence of this.
And just notice how it feels to be seen,
To be understood.
And notice if there's anything that bubbles up from inside,
Anything you might want to say to your guide.
And notice if anything comes back.
And allow the conversation to unfold naturally,
But not forcing it.
Perhaps silence is all that's needed.
And so inviting you to come back to your breath and just take a few final moments to enjoy the feeling of this place,
The feeling of your guide offering gratitude and thanks to what ultimately is a deep part of you that's always there.
And letting that vision go and knowing that it's always there in the background,
Available for you when you need it.
Letting your imagination melt back into your breath and the sensations in your body as you come back into the space.
Inviting some gentle movement into the body and notice what you're bringing with you.
What this practice time has given you.
And when you're ready,
You can reorient yourself in the space and just take some time to arrive at that space.
