Greetings,

This is Alana Kay.

This guided meditation for a 20 minute power nap will help to slow down your brain cycles enough to refresh and re-energize cognitive function and clear toxins from your brain.

Ideally and with practice,

This mid-day detox will help you acquire more energy and enjoyment in your life.

We begin by slowly lowering the brain cycles and clearing the mind.

Gentle full body breathing begins the process by bringing your focus inward while calming the nervous system.

It is best to lie on your back or your right side,

But it is your individual preference.

It may also help to place one hand over your solar plexus and one hand over your heart during the preliminary breathing exercise to focus the energy inward while withdrawing from the outside world.

We begin by taking gentle full body breaths.

I am an important person and I need to take care of myself for my benefit and the benefit of others that I encounter.

This is my time out.

For 20 glorious minutes,

I will let go of all activity and all of life's stresses.

I will wake up refreshed and focused.

I breathe in energy and I breathe out heaviness.
