Hello and welcome to the conversation on how results are created.

I think that this is an extremely important conversation to have because as humans we have desire and we will always have desire.

And all I really look at a desire is something that we want to have happen,

Which is a result.

It's an outcome.

So there are two types of results.

There are results that we currently have and there are results that we want to have.

We're not going to look at results that we've created in the past because they've already happened,

But we are going to look at the results that we currently have right now and we're going to look at the results that we want to create.

In order to understand how to create the ones that we want to create,

We have to look at the results that we're creating right now and how we got here.

So whatever the result is that you want to create,

Whether it's to start a family,

To move out of the country,

To get a new job,

To start a business,

To have a better relationship,

To buy a new car,

To learn how to swim,

Start an art studio,

Whatever it is,

No matter the result that you are wanting to create,

It's not going to be as beneficial for you to go after creating it if you don't understand how the current results that you have have been created and have been created by you.

Right now,

For the purposes of this conversation,

I am going to ask you to take responsibility for the results that you have.

This conversation isn't going to help you if you're not right now right now willing to say,

Okay,

Aja,

I'm going to take responsibility.

I'm going to just for the purposes of this conversation,

I'm going to say that all the results that I have are all on me.

I created them all.

Okay.

Now,

Whether you believe that or not right now,

I'm going to show you how that's true.

Okay.

So just be open with me a little bit.

Just give me a little bit.

And I will show you how taking control over your responsibility of the results that you have will actually help you create better ones and have more experiences and more of the outcomes that you want to have.

Okay,

You ready?

All right.

So let's take one result that you have right now.

One result,

Let's just say that the result is that I am unhappy at my job.

That right now is the result job.

The situation is that you're just unhappy at your job.

It makes you feel bad.

And when you feel bad,

You don't do your best work,

You are upset with the people,

You're kind of short tempered with them.

And the result is you are still in a job that you don't like,

And you're still going to the job.

And it is what it is the way that that situation is how we talked about.

So here's what I want you to think about.

I want you to think about if you are in this position where you're in a job that you don't like,

That the reason why you are feeling the way that you feel about the job,

Maybe you're feeling disgruntled,

You're feeling disappointed,

You're feeling frustrated,

Those feelings that you have about your job are not created because you have a job that you have a job that you don't like.

I know,

I know,

Very unpopular opinion.

People,

Places and things do not create your feelings.

Shocker.

Yes,

I know.

But it's the truth.

What creates your feelings are your own thoughts.

This is where again,

I'm going to ask you to lean into the responsibility that you have for yourself and for your results.

The reason why when you take responsibility for what you have,

And who you're deciding to be and your identity is because you get the opportunity to change that.

It's not reliant upon someone else or someone else giving you a different opportunity or putting you into something else.

You get to make the decision to change your thoughts about the feelings,

You get to really decide what feelings you want to have.

It's not up to someone else.

It's up to you.

So let's look at your thoughts about this job that you don't like.

So grab a piece of paper if you have one or if you're driving,

Then just listen and kind of mentally make a list in your head.

Okay?

At the top here of the paper,

You're going to have hate job.

And then you're going to think about all of the thoughts that you have when you think about job.

Let's just say job.

We won't even say hate job.

We'll just say job.

Because one of the thoughts is probably I hate my job.

So what else might you be thinking about this job?

It doesn't pay enough.

The people are awful.

I don't like the hours that I work.

I don't like the actual job that I do.

The commute is long.

There's no food,

No good food to go to eat,

Places to eat for lunch.

The people don't like me.

The dress code is crappy.

Just all of the thoughts.

We could go on and on and on,

Right?

So when you think about all of the thoughts about your job,

And this is really we're not talking about someone who has a job that they like.

We're looking at someone who has a job that they don't like,

Right?

So these are the thoughts of someone who has a job that they don't like.

And what you're going to do is you're going to look at all of those thoughts,

And you're going to pick the one that gives you the most feels.

It's like,

Oh,

This is it right here.

This one is the most,

This one is the worst.

And maybe that one is going to be different for each person.

But maybe that one thought is,

I don't like people,

The people suck.

Maybe that maybe that is the biggest problem.

Okay,

Let's just say that it is.

So the people,

The thought is about the job is the people suck.

The people are horrible people.

And when you think,

Oh my gosh,

These people are horrible.

How does it make you feel?

For some people,

It may make them feel feel debilitated,

It may make them feel disappointed,

It may make them feel anxious.

So when you feel anxious,

Like you have to pick the feeling,

I don't know what your thought is,

I don't know what feeling it brings up for you.

But I can pretty much guess,

Right?

Humans have a wide range of thoughts and feelings.

But for a lot of the thoughts,

They will produce some of the same feelings for most people,

Right?

So let's just say the thought,

Again,

Is the people are awful.

And when you think that,

Then the feeling that comes up is it makes you anxious.

And so then the action that you take is you go to work with a really bad attitude.

You don't talk to people,

You are very kind of disengaged,

Or maybe when you are engaged with people,

Then you have a short tempered answers or attitude.

These are all the actions that you're taking.

You don't participate in the social functions at the job.

And if you do,

It's still kind of in a disgruntled way,

Like your energy is not there.

And so then what happens?

What is the result of that?

People probably don't like you either.

The result is,

Is that when you think that the people are awful,

Then the result is the people are awful.

And they probably are awful because you treat them awful.

And so they treat you awful.

They have thoughts about you,

You have thoughts about them.

It's all thoughts,

Right?

And the result is,

Again,

Is the people are awful.

So with this result that you have,

If you are taking responsibility,

That it starts with you,

Like you get to go first because you are the only change that you can make as a person,

Then you get to decide,

I hate feeling this anxiety when I get to work.

I hate feeling anxiety when I think about going to work.

I don't like the way that I feel when I think about the people like it,

It makes you feel awful.

It's a very uncomfortable feeling to feel anxious.

Am I right?

So if you are having a thought that's creating that feeling,

What then do you think needs to happen in order for you to have a different feeling?

Right?

If you said that you would need to have a different thought,

Then you are correct.

You would need to have a different thought in order to create a different feeling.

Because again,

People,

Places and things do not create your thoughts.

It's your thoughts about those people,

Those people,

Places and things that create your feelings.

Situations do not create feelings,

Even though that's what we've been taught.

You hurt my feelings.

She said bad things about me.

We have grown up learning and understanding that other people create our own feelings,

That situations create our own feelings.

And I really wish that someone would have told us like way,

Way earlier,

That that is not the case.

It really is just our thoughts about what they said.

That's it.

So if that is the case,

Then our thoughts are one of the most powerful things for creating the results that we want.

And our thoughts are so powerful that they are creating right now,

All the results that we have.

And we can change those results just by changing how we think about whatever person,

Place or thing,

Situation,

Circumstance that you're in.

You can try this with any situation that you're in any result that you have,

No matter what it is,

No matter what the circumstance,

No matter what the situation is,

You get to choose how you think about it.

And those thoughts create those feelings,

Those feelings,

Create those actions,

And all of those ultimately create the result that you have.

And so I want you to try this out on any,

Any,

Anything,

Any result that you have,

I want you to track your back,

Look at what exactly is going on with this result.

What is it?

Is it a job?

Is it a person?

Is it the even like,

Someone like you,

The circumstance may be that you don't like the way someone choose.

I had that one time happen with one of my son's friends,

It was just the most awful experience.

And I made it even more awful by just continuously thinking about how awful it was.

So let's move on to looking at how you can actually create the results that you want.

Well,

Now that you understand how you're creating the result that the results that you have,

Then you can understand where I'm going here with how you can actually create the results that you want.

So whatever it is that you want to create,

It doesn't matter how you create it,

Which is usually what our brain is going to go towards.

I don't know how to do it.

I don't know what to do.

I don't know what steps to take.

It's really not about the how it's about the who it's about the who do you need to be in order to make that result happen.

And that who always starts with your thoughts.

No matter whatever it is that you are trying to create,

You have to look at the thoughts that you have about yourself.

First,

There's so many strategies,

There's so many techniques,

There's so many let's just say you want to buy a house,

You could go through a real estate agent,

You can go through Zillow or you can go through the for sale by owners,

There's so many different options for you to take.

So it's really not really about the how it's about the who do you need to be in order to go buy the house.

The how is going to present itself when you focus on the who.

When you focus on the who,

That is you thinking the thoughts.

Who do you need to be to buy a house,

To ask for a raise,

To change jobs,

To ask that girl out,

To be a better parent starts with you thinking that you are that you are the person who can go and ask for a raise,

That you are the person who can go buy a house,

That you are the person who is a great parent,

That you are the person who's going to ask that person out.

It starts with what you're thinking about you.

Now,

Of course,

We're human,

We have human brains,

Our human brains tell us all of the things that we shouldn't be doing to keep us safe.

And your job is to push the brain to the side and say,

Hey,

Nope,

We're okay.

We're okay.

We're creating something new.

And in order to create something new,

Which is a new result that we want,

We have to step into our next level self and start thinking and moving from that next level identity.

And it's all about your thinking,

All about your thinking.

When you think a certain way,

You feel a certain way,

You take actions in a certain way.

So if you are thinking,

Yes,

I can,

Then the feeling is optimism.

It is motivation,

It is excitement.

It's,

It's one of those can do types of feelings,

Whatever you would call that,

Whatever the feeling space word is that you would call a can do attitude,

Right?

And then when you feel good about,

Oh,

My goodness,

Yes,

Yes,

Yes,

I can.

And you're full of excitement,

Then the actions that you take,

That energy that you're in when you're taking those actions,

Completely different than if you were in the,

Oh,

Man,

No,

I can't do that.

And from that,

I can't do that thought,

You feel defeated,

You haven't even tried and you feel defeated.

And then the actions that you take are what inaction,

You don't,

You don't ask that girl out,

You don't ask for the raise,

You wallow in more self pity,

You go and get your bucket of ice cream and start watching Netflix,

Instead of calling that girl up or writing out all the reasons why asking for why you deserve that raise.

Like you don't give yourself the opportunity to find the answers,

Find the how,

When you are in the negative emotions.

And being in negative emotions isn't a bad thing,

Like we think that they are being in negative emotions is just an emotion.

It's just an emotion that we get to explore back to our thoughts,

What's creating this negative emotion,

Let me ask myself about it.

Let me talk to myself,

Let me explore with curiosity,

Not with a baseball bat.

We're not getting the emotional baseball bat.

We're exploring with curiosity.

So you have to think in the way that you need to think you need to find the thought that your brain can get on board with.

You can't go from,

I've never made money in my business to I'm gonna make a million dollars,

Your brain is going to laugh at you and tell you to sit down,

Sit down,

Please.

No,

Ma'am.

You have to get a thought that your brain can actually get on board with.

I can research today,

I can look at what kind of business I want to start.

That's a very,

Very good place for your brain to say,

Okay,

Yeah,

We can do that.

Yeah,

I can see us doing that.

So you have to find a thought that isn't so,

So big.

That's where we go wrong.

We find the affirmations and the mantras and we bring them in before we were actually ready for them,

Before we've done the work to learn how our brain works.

So before we've done the work to learn how results are created,

We're slathering on very thickly,

Very heavily,

The affirmations and the mantra and they don't work very well,

Because you don't know how thoughts,

How results are created.

You don't know that you need maybe a smaller affirmation that your brain can get on board with to cultivate that belief that will create the energy,

The feelings,

The emotion that drives the action that creates the results.

Now,

What I'm not saying is,

Is that you have to be in 100% total percent belief in what it is that you need to think in order to have the outcomes that you want.

You can do so much with a half managed mind.

So,

So much,

Trust me,

This girl over here just has created a whole life of a half managed mind.

But the more you work on that belief in that thought,

You will embody it.

And then you'll go to the next belief,

The next level of belief that you need to have.

And then you will embody it and you'll implement it and you'll create more of the results that you'll be moving inches by inches,

Seconds by seconds,

Minutes by minutes,

Yards by yards closer to the result that you want.

And even in a lot of instances,

You get to the result.

And then there's another thing that you want to create.

So maybe you have bought your first house.

And now you're like,

Oh,

I've got my first house.

Now I'm ready for my second house.

And I want it to be even more,

Even bigger,

Even more square footage,

Even more money.

Or you've gotten to your first 10k in your business and you're like,

I'm ready for more.

So then you have to cultivate a whole nother set of beliefs to be the person who has a million dollar house.

Just like you cultivated a belief of being the person who has a 500k house,

Or the person who made 10k in their business.

Now you have to cultivate a whole new belief around being the person who makes 50k in their business.

You cultivated the belief around getting the job.

Now you have to cultivate the belief around asking for the raise.

So we're going to always be cultivating beliefs,

Looking at our thoughts,

Creating the energy and the feelings,

Taking the inspired actions from that space to create the results that we want.

Little small thoughts and beliefs will create the most magnificent feelings that drive all of the amazing action that will create any result that you want.
