Begin by finding a comfortable,
Quiet space for your practice.
You may sit or lie down in a relaxed position,
But please make sure that you can maintain a sense of attentiveness.
Settling into this moment,
I invite you to take a few deep breaths,
Allowing yourself to notice and release any residual tension from your body that might be lingering.
Letting go of the outside world,
Giving yourself permission to fully be here in this space of inner exploration as you open yourself up to your inner guidance.
Bringing awareness to your breath,
Noticing the rise and fall of your chest as you inhale and exhale.
This simple act of breathing,
Connecting to the present moment,
Is a doorway to connect to your inner wisdom.
Wisdom can be understood to be the ability to form a relationship with the mysteries that life unfolds before us,
To become comfortable with the unknown and the unknowable,
And to trust that an inevitable destiny will be revealed.
As you continue to inhale and exhale,
Allow yourself to consider the unknown.
What does it mean to you?
How does the concept affect you sensationally,
Vibrationally,
Emotionally?
Imagining yourself in this present moment,
Recognize your capabilities and your limitations.
Can you accept yourself completely just as you are,
With all your strengths and vulnerabilities?
This awareness of the self in the present is a cornerstone of wisdom and a doorway to understanding how you can live with deep purpose.
You might imagine yourself in a boat paddling on a flowing river,
Representing your destiny,
The path that life has laid out for you.
The river leads to the ocean,
The pathway is set,
However,
The way you choose to get there is up to you.
You can resist the flow and paddle upstream,
Or you can embrace the flow and the obstacles that arise on the journey.
Wisdom invites you to see beyond the surface,
Beyond obstacles and distractions.
It invites you to connect with your deeper purpose,
With the reason for your existence.
You may like to take this moment to feel into your third eye space in the center of your brow.
This is the Ajna Chakra,
Which governs your experience of wisdom in relation to how you see the world.
Feeling into that space,
Noticing if you can experience a silence that allows for your inner wisdom to be known.
Embracing the wisdom within you,
Gently guiding you.
This is the wisdom that recognizes destiny,
Flows with it and accepts all that is and all that is to come with grace.
You may like to repeat the following affirmations to yourself.
I see myself clearly.
I see my destiny clearly.
I know who I am and why I am here.
Allow the vibration of these affirmations to settle into your energy body,
Noticing any resistance that arises.
Remembering that resistance is a reminder that we are influencing the building of new pathways of belief and understanding.
Every time you use these affirmations,
You are creating a deeper connection with your inner wisdom.
Gently return your awareness to your breath,
Feeling the connection between your breath and the wisdom within you.
Knowing that you can return to this meditation whenever you desire.
As we bring this meditation to a close,
Carry with you the knowledge that your inner wisdom is a source of strength and guidance on your journey of self-discovery,
Acceptance and purpose.
When you're ready,
Slowly blinking your eyes open and bringing gentle movement to your body.
Thank you for joining me in this practice.
I hope that you feel more strongly connected to your inner wisdom.
