Hello and welcome for joining.

This meditation is for you to drop all that busyness,

Mental chatter,

Noise in the head,

The mind.

Let it drop out of the mind and rest in that deeper part of you,

The heart.

My name is Asa Kennedy.

I'm a creation support coach and human design guide.

Let yourself be comfortable now,

Whether you want to sit or lie down.

Make yourself as restful as possible,

Turning off any distractions,

Mobile devices.

If you can be in a quiet room,

Let yourself be there for the next 10 minutes as we take care,

Self-care of the mind.

Now,

As you hear my voice right now,

In this moment,

I want you to simultaneously also be aware of your breathing.

So you feel the breath flowing in and out.

You're aware of your breath.

And at the same time,

You're hearing the sound of my voice,

The sound of the music in the background.

And as you're breathing in and out,

Just imagine what you think of as the mind.

The mind seems solid,

Seems real.

And in this process,

We're going to understand a little bit more that the mind is only made up of a bunch of thoughts,

Concepts,

Ideas.

And it's like a filter covering over the true essence of reality.

So instead of thinking,

Being engaged and reactive to every thought that floats through,

One thing you can do is to imagine the thoughts are not even your thoughts.

Don't personalize,

Don't identify with them.

Just see them simply as a thought,

Another thought,

Another thought.

And in the process of doing that,

Maybe you'll notice now that there is another part of you that is watching,

That is able to observe the thoughts and allow them to just come and go.

And we're going to sink deeper into this part that's not the thought,

But is the one who's watching,

Witnessing and aware of the thought.

And as you're breathing in and out,

Getting a sense of being the witness,

Being the observer,

The observer,

That you start to feel a little more spaciousness within yourself and allowing the spaciousness to expand.

And now I want you to imagine a waterfall,

The water made up of all the tiny droplets of water flowing down,

A stream of water flowing down.

And we're going to imagine the thoughts in our head like a waterfall,

Like those droplets of water are flowing down,

Flowing down,

Coming into the body and sensing the heart,

Not the physical heart,

But that larger part of you.

You can think of your whole body as heart,

The energy of compassion,

Qualities of kindness,

Acceptance,

Unconditioned love,

Courage,

Forgiveness.

Breathing in and out,

You feel those qualities in your whole body and letting that waterfall of all the thoughts,

Doubts,

Concerns,

Worries,

Stresses,

Letting it flow down,

Down into the body heart where it can rest.

You don't need to do anything about any thought.

And as the mind begins to rest,

It comes into its rightful place as a servant,

A servant to our inner knowing,

A servant to the heart,

The guidance of our inner authority.

As you breathe in and out,

Make a vow to yourself that all the decisions that you need to make will be made from this heart,

From this inner authority that you have.

And don't make decisions from your mind alone,

But initially trust and listen to what's inside you and all around you.

And the more you do that,

It strengthens like a muscle.

It strengthens over time.

And then the mind can serve the heart.

Once you have your guidance,

Once you have your answer,

Once the decision is made from that bigger place,

Your mind can help you.

You're just feeling into your whole body right now,

Down to your toes,

Your feet,

Your legs.

Feel a support underneath your body,

Whether you're sitting in a chair or lying down.

Sink a little bit more into that support,

Being aware of the sound and the breath at the same time.

Let the waterfall continue,

Any remaining chattiness in the head,

Letting it fall downwards to rest.

You never need to do anything about any thought in this moment.

And placing your hands somewhere on your body,

Maybe your belly or your heart,

The center of the chest or your arms or your thighs,

Anywhere in the body that feels comfortable.

And you're going to let this feeling of touch and sensation remind you of the waterfall.

So when you're doing your day to day and you feel and you feel that tenseness in the head,

You know that you're overthinking and overanalyzing.

Place your hands on this part of the body as a gentle reminder.

Ah,

Yes.

Letting all those thoughts and concerns just for that moment flow down to rest,

To rest in the body,

To rest in the heart.

And then feel between your ears a sense of emptiness,

Silence,

Even a peacefulness.

And letting that peacefulness and calm wash over you now.

And as your mind relaxes,

Creativity expands,

Answers and solutions arise.

So remember,

Emptying out the mind,

Letting the mind relax,

Brings you into that deeper place of knowing,

Connects you to your own inner authority,

Guidance.

And once that guidance is clear,

Then and only then you can let your head,

Your mind,

Your thinking,

Share its brilliance in supporting that guidance.

Taking a deep,

Deep breath in,

Hold your breath in,

Feeling that fullness,

Expandedness.

Then letting it all flow out as you exhale and empty out as much as you can.

And then pause your breath,

Feeling that emptiness,

And then let your breath become natural.

The in and out breath flowing between fullness and emptiness,

Fullness and emptiness.

And come to this meditation,

Listen to it whenever you need to be reminded to move from the head to the heart so that your guidance will bring you into the fullest potential of who you are.

Namaste.
