Hello and welcome.

We are going to start our practice today by finding a comfortable place to sit or lay down.

Simply allow yourself to find a posture where you can fully release and be at ease.

If you notice any slight adjustments that would make you more comfortable,

Go ahead and make those now.

Now allow yourself to land in this space,

Noticing your sits bones on the chair or ground beneath you.

Allow yourself to attune and bring awareness to your physical body.

Are your feet planted on the earth?

Can you feel that solid foundation underneath you?

Notice the temperature and the space that you're in.

Feel the sensation of your clothes touching your skin.

Notice if any part of your body is speaking up,

Might be subtle or loud,

And allow whatever is true for you in this moment to be welcome here.

So go ahead and shift your attention towards your breath.

Start to deepen the breath.

You will inhale through the nose and then exhale deeply out the mouth.

Let's do this for a few more breath cycles.

Inhaling through the nose,

Followed by a deep exhale out the mouth.

Really deepening in every breath and fully releasing that nice long exhale and maybe even letting a sigh out the mouth.

In this meditation,

We are going to focus on transitions and change.

This can be an extraordinary time for expansion and growth and also has the potential to be met with a good amount of fear and overwhelm.

This is so very normal.

Change is intimidating.

It takes a lot of trust and lots of love and support from within.

In this meditation,

We will be honoring the space between no longer and not yet while really allowing ourselves to find comfort,

Curiosity,

Allowing,

And dreaming into this great unknown.

We will work with our ability to work with and address these changes from a place of internal strength.

We will learn ways to find comfort in the familiar and to lean on ourselves in times of great change.

Whether you are navigating a transition you intentionally called into your life or one that seems to have fallen into your lap,

The opportunity is there for all of it to embrace this time with tenderness,

Resilience,

And grace.

See there are transitions and times of change that we've come accustomed to like moving away from the colder,

Darker days of winter in more inward spaces into the songs and warmth and the seeds of spring.

We've been there before and will be there again.

There can be great comfort and likely some excitement,

Perhaps some freedom or joy for many as those seasons change as we get to move through the natural course of moving from one season into the next with a fair amount of predictability.

Not all change mirrors this experience,

Yet we can certainly pull qualities from it.

Many times the place of no longer may not have necessarily been comfortable or desired,

But it was certainly familiar.

It takes a lot of courage to acknowledge this,

To acknowledge this truth.

And incredible bravery to put one foot down on the bridge that takes you from no longer to not yet.

Together,

Let's begin to look at this.

I invite you to begin to reflect and to reconnect with you.

Finding your way into your internal world,

Go ahead and start to bring awareness to the shifts and transitions that you may be experiencing in your life currently.

And as you do so,

I invite you to be really authentic and honest,

To consider all of the changes that you are up to,

Whether these feel welcomed or not.

All we will be doing is naming these for now.

As you are building up your bandwidth and your deep remembrance of how capable you truly are.

So allow yourself to notice what comes up as you name this change or these changes internally.

Do you notice the rise of emotion?

If so,

What are you feeling?

And can you allow that feeling to be present?

Can you start to feel your body responding in any particular way?

Whatever you are noticing,

Know that you are exactly where you need to be.

Your body is just letting you know that this might be sensitive content and it needs you to proceed with compassion.

Now see if you can put your hand on the place on your body that has sensation.

If nothing profound arises,

A hand on your belly or on your heart is always perfect for meeting yourself.

Now notice what it feels like to validate yourself and your experience by this simple gesture of,

I see you and I've got you.

Allow yourself to breathe into this experience of,

If I feel discomfort,

I am here for me to connect with myself to meet me exactly where I am.

If we can maintain this stance,

We can navigate all that's present in the great unknown of any change.

If we are committed to having our own back as we move through it all.

Now while staying in this place of connection between you and you,

Can you start to explore what it would take for you to honor the space in between what has gone and what you have to let go of and what has not yet become?

Are there things you might do to bring more presence into your experience?

What can you call on that's familiar,

Constant,

Stable,

And grounding to you?

Can you call on times when you've also moved through great change?

I'll give you a few moments for some self-exploration here to bring attention to your own unique set of resources.

Now can you start to imagine taking all that you just discovered and stepping into the not-yet with all that is familiar,

All that is grounded,

And perhaps even confident within you?

What would that look like?

What if we embodied the belief that all change serves us in the highest and best way possible,

Even if we didn't know what that was yet?

What would our approach look like then?

What if we completely trusted the process with all of our being?

I invite you to be with the word trust for a moment.

Start to deepen the breath as you visualize trusting this process and trusting that you've got this.

As you hear the following affirmations,

You are welcome to say them out loud after me or just to continue to breathe these in and try them on.

I trust that I am exactly where I need to be.

I trust that I have all that I need to move through times of change.

I trust that change is in my very best interest.

I trust that change offers me positive growth,

Expansion,

And abundance.

I'll give you a moment to come up with any affirmations of your own.

Beautiful.

Now go ahead and start to bring attention back to your body,

Noticing the rise and the fall of the breath.

Again,

Drawing awareness to the points of contact between you and the earth underneath you.

Starting to bring some gentle movements into the body as you awaken into your experience and integrate all that has surfaced.

If anything has come up for you in this meditation,

It's a wonderful practice to spend a bit of time journaling after we close.

I want to acknowledge your courage as you move through all that is new with your strength,

Your resilience,

Tenderness,

And grace.

You are inspirational.

With much love and admiration,

I honor you and your journey.
