I invite you to find a position in your body that feels comfortable.
Perhaps that's sitting or maybe even laying down.
Whatever feels right for you,
I invite you to just get into that position right now.
And if it feels right and safe,
You can just gently allow your eyes to close or simply lower your gaze so that you are not distracted.
I invite you to just fully arrive in this time and this space here by taking one intentional breath in.
So nice breath in and releasing.
Just feeling your back against whatever it is that you're seated or laying on.
Feeling your thighs against it.
And bringing your awareness to your feet wherever they might be.
Just really letting the weight of your body to sink further into the surface of that that is holding you.
There's nothing for you to do,
Nothing for you to achieve in this moment.
You're simply allowing yourself to be here right now.
And if thoughts are coming in,
That's totally normal and expected,
Just bring your awareness back to my voice as best as you can.
And now if it feels right for you,
I invite you to just turn gently inward into your breath.
Just noticing where you're feeling your breath most fully in your body.
That might be your nostrils,
Your chest,
Or maybe your abdomen.
Whenever you're feeling it,
Just bring your awareness to that place.
You're not trying to change or manipulate your breath.
You're simply taking a moment to become connected to how your body is breathing.
And as you're connected to this powerful life force that is always with you,
I invite you to offer yourself silently in your mind some words or phrases that you need to hear in this moment.
Perhaps I am well or I am safe,
I am capable.
Whatever phrases speak to you,
Please state to them silently in your mind three times.
Let these words and phrases seep into every cell of your existence and trust that they are being acted upon by a higher power within you.
I invite you to gently allow those words to fade and you take a couple of intentional breaths alongside me right now if that feels right.
So a nice breath in and letting go.
And another breath in and releasing.
And one more time,
Nice breath in and out.
In this moment,
You are safe,
You are supported,
You are seen.
And whenever you're ready,
You can open your eyes or release your gaze to conclude today's meditation.
