This meditation is based on ACIM Lessons 1-20. It is not a practice of the lessons. It is a mindful recap followed by a silent meditation and ending with the lessons again. I suggest if you are new to ACIM listen to this only after individual, at least daily practice, of each lesson, one per day as suggested in the book. Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for joining with me.

This is a meditation based on A Course in Miracles workbook for students,

Lesson 15.

Go ahead and sit with your back supported,

Head and neck free.

Let's start with a 2X breath.

Inhale for a count of two through your nose.

Exhale for a count of four through your mouth.

Again,

In for two,

Out for four.

In for two,

Exhale for a count of four.

Now we will move into a 3X breath in through the nose for a count of three,

Out through the mouth for a count of six.

And again,

As you exhale,

Feel all the tension melt from your body.

Feel your neck loosen up your shoulders.

Again,

In for three,

Exhale for a count of six.

We will now move into a 4X breath,

Deeply in through the nose for a count of four,

Three,

Two,

One,

Hold,

Exhale slowly through the mouth,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

We're going to repeat that again,

In through the nose for a count of four,

Nice and deep,

And out through the mouth for a count of eight.

Feel all the tension leave this body.

And one more time,

In the nose for a count of four,

Exhale for a count of eight,

Exhale for a count of eight.

If your eyes are not closed,

Go ahead and close them now.

Lesson 15,

My thoughts are images that I have made.

The images are what we perceive in the world outside us.

The ego takes our thoughts of separation and projects them so that we see them in the world rather than accepting their presence within.

We see them as sin,

Guilt,

Fear,

All thoughts that separate us from others.

We perceive these images as a person,

A room,

A coat hanger,

A clock,

And everything else.

We can have an image of a vengeful God,

A happy or miserable world,

But all images of specific forms are projections of our thoughts of separation.

Because we believe we see something outside,

We believe that what we see is real.

My thoughts are images that I have made.

We will now move into a silent meditation.

Use this or the mantra of your choice to help anchor your thoughts.

If you are faithful to the specifics of the daily exercises,

It'll allow you to generalize the lesson of the inherent sameness of all things to each and every experience of our lives.

Such generalization is the heart of forgiveness and the key to achieving the peace that is Jesus' goal for us.

Thank you for joining with me.
