Hello,

Thank you for joining with me.

This is a meditation based on A Course in Miracles workbook for students.

We are on Lesson 12.

Go ahead and sit with your back supported,

Head and neck free.

Let's do a few slow head rolls.

Starting first to the right.

When you're ready,

Let's move to the left.

Take a centering breath.

Inhale through the nose for a count of two.

Exhale through the mouth for a count of four.

Again,

In through the nose for a count of two.

Out through the mouth for a count of four,

Three,

Two,

One.

One more time,

In through the nose for a count of two.

Out through the mouth for a count of four.

Try to sit with your back supported,

Head and neck free.

We will now move into a 3x breath.

In through the nose for a count of three.

Out through the mouth for a count of six.

Feel the breath come up through the base of your spine all the way up your body and out the center of your head.

Envision it as a bright blue,

Blue-white light.

Continue with the 3x breath.

In through the nose for a count of three.

Out through the mouth for a count of six.

I put my wings back on and fly home to you,

I remember who I am.

We will now move into a 4x breath.

In through the nose for a count of four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold,

Out through the mouth,

Eight,

Seven,

Six,

Five,

Four,

Three,

Two,

One.

Hold,

In again for four.

Hold it at the top and out for eight.

We repeat this three times.

As you exhale,

Feel all the tension leave your body.

All the stress,

All the tension just dissipates this body.

If your eyes are not closed,

Please close them now.

I will read and then we will move into a silent meditation.

Lesson 12.

I am upset because I see a meaningless world.

If we are never upset for the reason we think and we are upset because we see something that is not there,

This lesson amplifies these previous ideas.

I am upset because I see a meaningless world.

The importance of this idea lies in the fact that it contains a correction for a major perceptual distortion.

You think that what upsets you is a frightening world or a sad world or a violent world or an insane world.

All these attributes are given it by you.

The world is meaningless in itself.

I think I see a fearful world,

A dangerous world,

A hostile world,

A sad world,

A wicked world,

A crazy world.

But I am upset because I see a meaningless world.

In love,

Such a happy life in joy and peace,

Oh,

A happy life in peace and love.

I am upset because I see a meaningless world,

A dangerous world,

A sad world,

A hopeless world,

A dangerous world,

A hopeless world.

I am upset because I see a meaningless world,

A dangerous world,

A hopeless world,

A dangerous world,

A hopeless world.
