ACIM Lesson 319 Contemplation

"I came for the salvation of the world."
This lesson emphasizes that our purpose in the world is to contribute to its salvation by recognizing and sharing the truth of everyone's innocence. It teaches that we are here to help others awaken to love and unity, which is God's Will for us. By embracing this role, we let go of the ego's purpose of separation and instead become extensions of God's love, guiding others toward enlightenment. We are encouraged us to see ourselves as part of a larger mission to bring the world back to oneness and peace, understanding that our individual salvation is intertwined with the salvation of all.

Lesson 319 I came for the salvation of the world.

I came for the salvation of the world.

Here is a thought from which all arrogance has been removed.

Only truth remains.

Arrogance opposes truth.

But,

When there is no arrogance,

The truth will come immediately.

When there is no arrogance,

The truth will fill up the space the ego left,

Unoccupied by lies.

Only the ego can be limited.

Therefore,

The ego must seek for aims which are curtailed,

Aims which are limiting.

The ego thinks that what one gains,

Totality must lose.

And yet,

It is the will of God,

I learned,

That what one gains is given unto all.

The goal which stems from your will shares its totality.

What aim but the salvation of the world could you have given me?

Father,

What but the salvation of the world could be the will my higher self has shared with you?

I came for the salvation of the world.
