"I judge all things as I would have them be." This lesson teaches that judgment is a weapon used against truth, separating and distorting what we perceive. It encourages us to relinquish our judgments and instead allow God's Love to decide how we see His Children. The lesson emphasizes that our judgments are based on incomplete understanding and therefore false. By surrendering our judgments to God, we can find relief from the agony of self-judgment and re-establish peace of mind. A Course in Miracles,

Lesson 311 I judge all things as I would have them be.

Judgment was made to be a weapon,

To be used against the truth.

Judgment separates what it is being used against,

As if it were a thing apart.

Then,

Judgment makes of this thing what you would have it be.

Judgment judges what it cannot understand,

Because judgment cannot see totality,

And therefore judges falsely.

Let us not use judgment today,

But make a gift of it to God,

Who has a different use for it.

This gift will relieve us of the agony of all the judgments we have made against ourselves.

This gift of judgment will re-establish peace of mind by giving us God's judgment of His child.

Let us not use judgment today,

But make a gift of it to God,

Who has a different use for it.

This gift will relieve us of the agony of all the judgments we have made against ourselves.

This gift of judgment will re-establish peace of mind by giving us God's judgment of His child.

Father,

We wait with an open mind today to hear your judgment of the child you love.

Father,

We do not know this child,

And we cannot judge,

And so we let your love decide what the one whom you created as your child must be.

Father,

I wait with an open mind today to hear your judgment of the child you love.

Father,

We do not know this child,

And we cannot judge,

And so we let your love decide what the one whom you created as your child must be.

Judgment was made to be a weapon,

To be used against the truth.

Because judgment cannot see totality,

And therefore judges falsely.

Let me not use judgment today,

But make a gift of it to God,

Who has a different use for it.

This gift will relieve me of the agony of all the judgments I have made against myself.

This gift of judgment will reestablish peace of mind by giving me God's judgment of his child.

Father,

We wait with an open mind today to hear your judgment of the child you love.

Father,

We do not know this child,

And we cannot judge,

And so we let your love decide what the one whom you created as your child must be.

To hear your judgment of the child you love.

I do not know this child,

And I cannot judge,

Tied with the one whom you created as your child must be.

I judge all things,

As I would have them real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal lies in the peace of God.
