ACIM Lesson 254 Contemplation
"Let every voice but God's be still in me." This lesson emphasizes the importance of quieting our minds and letting go of ego-driven thoughts in order to hear God's voice within us. It encourages us to approach God in deep silence, seeking only to hear His Voice and receive His Word. The lesson teaches that when ego thoughts arise, we should simply observe them without engaging, then let them go, as we do not want what they would bring. In the resulting stillness, hallowed by God's Love, we can hear God speak to us of our true will, as we have chosen to remember Him.
