"Let me not see myself as limited." This lesson emphasizes that how we perceive others directly reflects how we perceive ourselves, encouraging us to see the limitless glory and holiness in everyone. It teaches that by choosing to see the strength, sovereignty, and gentleness of God in others, we can recognize these same qualities in ourselves. The lesson urges us to watch our minds for thoughts of limitation and fear, asking the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth beyond these illusions, so that we may truly identify with our Higher Self. A Course in Miracles Lesson 250 Let me not see myself as limited.

Let me behold the child of God today.

Let me be witness to God's glory.

Let me not try to obscure the holy light in God.

Let me not see God's strength diminished,

Reduced to frailty.

Let me not perceive the lax in God,

With which I would attack His sovereignty.

We are your children,

My Father.

Father,

Today I would behold your child's gentleness instead of my illusions.

Father,

Today I would behold the gentleness of my Higher Self instead of my illusions.

Father,

Your children are what I am.

Father,

As I see your children,

So I see myself.

Father,

Today I would see truly that this day I may at last identify with your child,

My Higher Self.

Let me behold the child of God today.

Let me be witness to God's glory.

Let me not try to obscure the holy light in God.

Let me not see God's strength diminished,

Reduced to frailty.

Let me not perceive the lax in God,

With which I would attack His sovereignty.

We are your children,

My Father.

Today I would behold the gentleness of all your children instead of my illusions.

Father,

Today I would behold the gentleness of my Higher Self instead of my illusions.

Father,

Your children are what I am.

Father,

As I see your children,

So I see myself.

I may at last identify with your child,

My Higher Self.

Let me not see myself as limited.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
