A Course in Miracles.
Lesson 207.
Review.
Lesson 187.
I bless the world because I bless myself.
Prepare for meditation.
Relax your body.
Remove all expression from your face.
Set aside all that you think you know.
Set aside all that you think you understand.
In this meditation,
Nothing is required except a deep relinquishment of everything that clutters our mind.
Quieting our mind gives us freedom.
So give these times of silence to your inner teacher.
Give these times of silence to your higher self,
Who instructs in quiet,
Who speaks of peace.
Give these times of silence to the teacher who gives your thoughts whatever meaning they may have.
Now still your mind and prepare for meditation.
In this meditation,
Permit no idle thought to go unchallenged.
If you notice an idle thought,
Assure your mind that this thought is not what your mind would have.
Then gently replace the thought.
Say to your mind,
This thought I do not want.
I choose instead.
I bless the world because I bless myself.
As we begin to work with our higher self,
Say to yourself,
Say in your mind,
I am not a body,
I am free.
I am still as God created me.
I bless the world because I bless myself.
God's blessing shines upon me,
From within my heart,
Where he abides.
I need but turn to him,
And every sorrow melts away,
As I accept his boundless love for me.
Ponder on this.
God's blessing shines on me.
God's blessing shines from within my heart,
Where God abides.
I only need to turn to God,
And every sorrow melts away.
I accept God's boundless love for me.
A body,
I am free.
I am still as God created me.
This thought I do not want.
I choose instead.
I bless the world because I bless myself.
Set aside all that you think you know.
Set aside all that you think you understand.
God's blessing shines on me.
God's blessing shines from within my heart,
Where God abides.
I only need to turn to God,
And every sorrow melts away.
I accept God's boundless love for me.
I am not a body.
I am free.
I am still as God created me.
I bless the world because I bless myself.
Nothing real can be threatened.
Nothing unreal exists.
Herein lies the peace of God.
