You will note that, for review purposes, some of the ideas are not given in quite their original form. Use them as they are given here. It is not necessary to return to the original statements, nor to apply the ideas as was suggested then. We are now emphasizing the relationships among the ideas we have covered and the cohesiveness of the thought system to which they are leading you. Lesson 178,

Review,

Lesson 165,

Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

What makes this world seem real,

Except your own denial of the truth that lies beyond the world?

What but your thoughts of misery and death obscure the perfect happiness?

What but your thoughts obscure the eternal life your Father wills for you?

What could hide,

What cannot be concealed,

Except illusion?

What could keep from you what you already have,

Except your denial that it is there?

The thought of God created you.

This thought has never left you,

Nor have you ever been apart from it for an instant.

This thought belongs to you.

You live by this thought.

The thought of God is your source of life,

Holding you one with it,

And everything is one with you,

Because this thought has never left you.

The thought of God protects you and cares for you.

The thought of God makes soft your resting place and smooths your way,

Lighting your mind with happiness and love.

Say to yourself,

Repeat after me,

Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

Until you welcome heaven as yours,

Uncertainty remains.

Ask with desire.

You need not be sure that your request is what you want,

But when you have received,

You will be sure that you have the treasure you have always sought.

Receiving God's treasure assures that you have exchanged your blindness for the seeing eyes of Christ.

Your mind has laid aside denial.

Accept now the thought of God as your inheritance.

To receive,

And it is given you.

Welcome heaven as yours,

And it is given you.

Do this now,

I'll be silent.

Welcome heaven.

Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

Welcome heaven as yours,

And it is given you.

Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

We count on God,

And not upon ourselves,

To give us certainty.

In God's name we practice,

As his word directs we do.

God's sureness lies beyond our every doubt.

God's love remains beyond our every fear.

The thought of God is still beyond all dreams.

The thought of God is still in our minds according to his will.

Now is all doubting past.

Now is the journey's end made certain.

Now is salvation given you.

Now is Christ's power in your mind to heal as you were healed.

For now you are among the saviors of the world.

Your destiny lies there and nowhere else.

Steady our feet.

Let our doubts be quiet.

Let our holy minds be still and speak to us.

Lead our practicing.

We will listen to your word and make it ours.

We accept the word you offer us to unify our practicing as we review the thoughts that you have given us in these lessons.

God is love,

And therefore so am I.

Review Lesson 166 I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

All things are given you.

God's trust in you is limitless.

God gives,

Without exception,

Holding nothing back that can contribute to your happiness.

And yet,

Unless your will is one with God's,

His gifts are not received.

But what would make you think there is another will other than the will of God?

The paradox that underlies the making of the world is this world is not the will of God,

And so it is not real.

Every mind that looks upon the world and judges it as certain,

Solid,

Trustworthy,

And true believes in two creators,

Or in one,

Themselves alone,

But never in one creator,

In one God.

They must believe that to claim and accept God's gifts as their own is to be pressed into treachery against themselves.

They must deny the presence of these gifts.

They must contradict the truth and suffer to preserve the world they have made.

This world is the only home they think they know.

This world is the only safety they believe that they can find.

Without the world they made,

They are outcasts,

Homeless,

And afraid.

Christ walks with you and gently answers all your fears.

With this one merciful reply,

It is not so.

God points to all the gifts you have each time the thought of poverty oppresses you.

God speaks of his companionship when you perceive yourself as lonely and afraid.

God reminds you still of one thing more you had forgotten.

Christ's touch on you has made you like himself.

The gifts you have are not for you alone.

So say to yourself,

Say in your mind again.

I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

Ponder on this.

I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

Your hand becomes the giver of Christ's touch.

Your change of mind becomes the proof those who accept God's gifts can never suffer anything.

You are entrusted with the world's release from pain.

Do not betray this trust.

Become the living proof of what Christ's touch can offer everyone.

God has entrusted all his gifts to you.

Be witness in your happiness to how transformed the mind becomes when it chooses to accept God's gifts and feel the touch of Christ.

Such is your mission now,

For God entrusts the giving of his gifts to all who have received them.

God has shared his joy with you,

And now you go to share it with the world.

God is love,

And therefore so am I.

Let not my mind deny the thought of God.

I am entrusted with the gifts of God.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
