Let this review become a time in which we share a new experience, yet one as old as time and older still. Your wholeness is now complete, as God established it. You are God's Child, completing His extension on your own. We practice but an ancient truth we knew before illusion seemed to claim the world. And we remind the world that it is free of all illusions every time we say: God is but Love, and therefore so am I.

Welcome to Active Meditation,

A Course in Miracles.

Lesson 174.

Reviewing Lessons 157 and 158.

God is love and therefore so am I.

Review Lesson 157.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

This day is holy for it ushers in a new experience,

A different kind of feeling,

A different kind of awareness.

You have spent long days and nights in celebrating death.

Today you learn to feel the joy of life.

Today it will be given you to feel a touch of heaven,

Though you will return to paths of learning.

You have come far enough along the way to alter time sufficiently,

To rise above the laws of time,

And to walk into eternity for a while.

Nothing is needed but today's idea.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

This idea will let your mind rest in still anticipation,

In quiet joy,

Wherein you quickly leave the world behind.

Into Christ's Presence will we enter now,

Serenely unaware of everything except His shining face,

Serenely unaware of everything except His perfect love.

As you keep practicing this lesson,

The vision of Christ's face will stay with you.

There eventually will be an instant which transcends all vision,

Even the vision of Christ,

Which is the holiest.

This you will never teach,

For you attained it not through learning.

Yet,

This vision of Christ speaks of your remembrance of what you knew at that transcendent instant,

And will surely know again.

Say to yourself,

Say in your mind,

Into God's Presence would I enter.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

God will direct your practicing today,

For what you ask for now is what God wills.

And,

Having joined your will with His this day,

That which you are asking must be given you.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

Ponder on this.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

God is love,

And therefore,

So am I.

Into God's Presence would I enter now.

Steady our feet,

Father.

Let our doubts be quiet.

Let our holy minds be still,

And speak to us.

We have no words to give to you.

We will listen to your word,

And make it ours.

Lead our practicing,

As does a father lead a little child.

Along the way they do not understand,

Yet do they follow,

Sure that they are safe,

Because their father leads the way for them.

So,

Do we bring our practicing to you.

If we stumble,

We know you will raise us up.

If we forget the way,

We count upon your sure remembering.

If we wander off,

We know you will not forget to call us back.

Quicken our footsteps now,

That we may walk more certainly and quickly unto you.

We accept the word you offer us to unify our practicing,

As we review the thoughts that you have given us in these lessons.

God is love,

And therefore,

So am I.

Lesson 158 Review.

Today,

I learn to give as I receive.

What has been given you?

The knowledge that you are a mind,

In mind,

And purely mind.

The knowledge that you are sinless,

Forever,

Wholly unafraid.

The knowledge that you were created out of love.

The knowledge that you have not left your source.

The knowledge that you remain as you were created.

This was given you as knowledge,

Which you cannot lose.

No one who walks the world has not received this knowledge.

It was given as well to every living thing.

What then are you to learn to give today?

The previous lesson evoked a theme found early in the Course in Miracles text.

It is not this knowledge which you give,

For that is what creation gave.

All this cannot be learned.

Say to yourself,

Say in your mind,

Today,

I learn to give as I receive.

Today,

I learn to give Christ's vision.

Experience cannot be shared directly in the way that vision can.

The revelation,

The experience,

That the Father and the Child are one,

Will come in time to every mind.

We cannot share our experiences,

But we can share Christ's vision as one law.

Christ's vision does not look upon a body and mistake the body.

Christ's vision beholds a light beyond the body,

Beholds an idea beyond what.

Christ's vision beholds a purity undimmed by errors,

A purity undimmed by pitiful mistakes,

Undimmed by fearful thoughts of guilt from dreams of sin.

Christ's vision sees no separation,

Looks on everyone,

Looks on every circumstance,

Looks on all happenings,

And looks on all events without the slightest fading of the light it sees.

This can be taught and must be taught by all of us who would achieve it,

By all of us who experience it.

To give Christ's vision requires but the recognition that the world cannot give anything that faintly can compare with this in value.

Christ's vision requires the recognition that the world sets up goals that merely disappear when Christ's vision has been perceived.

It is Christ's vision you give.

See no one as a body.

Greet them as the child of God they are,

Acknowledging that they are one with you in holiness.

Ponder on this.

Today I learn to give as I receive.

Today I learn to give Christ's vision.

Into God's presence would I enter now.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
