"Your grace is given me. I claim it now." In this lesson, the Course teaches that divine grace is freely given to every individual, and it is always available to us in every situation. The lesson emphasizes the importance of claiming and accepting this grace in our lives, as it is the key to unlocking our true spiritual power and finding inner peace. By recognizing that we are worthy of God's grace and allowing it to flow through us, we can let go of ego-based thoughts and embrace the love and guidance of the divine in our daily experiences.

Welcome to Active Meditation A Course in Miracles Lesson 168 Your grace is given me,

I claim it now.

God speaks to us,

Shall we not speak to him?

God is not distant,

He makes no attempt to hide from us.

We try to hide from him,

And suffer from deception.

God remains entirely accessible.

God loves his children.

There is no certainty but this,

Yet this suffices.

God will love his children forever.

When your mind remains asleep,

God loves you still.

And when your mind awakes,

God loves you with a never-changing love.

If you truly knew the meaning of God's love,

Hope and despair would be impossible.

Hope would be forever satisfied.

Despair of any kind would be unthinkable.

Grace is God's answer to all despair.

For in grace lies remembrance of God's love.

Should God not gladly give the means by which his will is recognized?

God's grace is yours,

By your acknowledgement.

And the memory of God awakens in the mind,

Which asks God the means whereby the minds sleep is done.

Say to yourself,

Repeat after me,

God,

Your grace is given me,

I claim it now.

God,

Your grace is given me,

I claim it now.

Today we ask God for the gift that he has most carefully preserved within our hearts,

Waiting to be acknowledged.

This is the gift by which God leans to us and lifts us up,

Taking salvation's final step himself.

All steps but this one we learn,

Instructed by God's voice.

Finally,

God comes himself,

Takes us in his arms and sweeps away the cobwebs of our sleep.

God's gift of grace is more than just an answer.

God's grace restores all memories that the sleeping mind forgot.

God's grace restores all certainty of what love's meaning is.

God loves his children.

Ask of God now to give the means by which this world will disappear and vision will come with knowledge an instant later.

In grace you see a light that covers all the world in love.

In grace you watch fear disappear from every face as hearts rise up and claim the light as theirs.

What now prevents that heaven be delayed an instant longer?

What is still undone when your forgiveness rests on everything?

To God we pray today,

Returning the word he gave to us through his own voice.

God's word.

God's love.

Repeat after me.

Your grace is given me.

I claim it now.

Father,

I come to you and you will come to me because I ask.

Father,

Your grace is given me.

I claim it now.

Father,

I come to you and you will come to me because I ask.

Father,

I am the child you love.

It is a new and holy day.

Today we receive what has been given us.

Our faith lies in the giver,

Not in our own acceptance.

We acknowledge our mistakes,

But God,

In whom all error is unknown,

Is the one who answers our mistakes by giving us the means to lay them down and rise to God in gratitude and love.

And God descends to meet us as we come to him for what he has prepared for us.

God gives and we receive.

Such is God's will because he loves his children.

Spend a few moments pondering on this.

Your grace is given me.

I claim it now.

I come to you and you will come to me because I ask.

Your grace is given me.

I claim it now.

I come to you and you will come to me because I ask.

Father,

I am the child you love.

Your grace is given me.

I claim it now.

Your grace is given me.

I claim it now.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
