ACIM Lesson 156: Exercise

"I Walk with God In Perfect Holiness" You believe that some emptiness or lack exists in you and that you can fill it with your own ideas instead of truth. You believe that what God created can be changed by your own mind.
You believe that what is perfect can be rendered imperfect or lacking. You believe that you can distort the creations of God, including yourself. You believe that you can create yourself and that the direction of your own creation is up to you.

A Course in Miracles.

Lesson 156 I Walk With God in Perfect Holiness Today's idea,

Promises,

And being causeless does not exist.

It follows surely from the basic thought so often mentioned in the text,

Ideas leave not their source.

If this be true,

Can you be apart from God?

How could you walk the world alone and separate your source?

Now ask yourself,

Ask in your mind,

Who walks with me?

This question should be asked a thousand times a day,

Until certainty has ended doubting and established peace.

Who walks with me?

You cannot walk the world apart from God,

Because you could not be without God.

God is what your life is.

Where you are,

God is.

There is one light,

That life,

You share with God.

Nothing can be apart from God and live.

There is a light in you,

Which cannot die,

Is what the universe is to behold.

All living things recognize who walks with you.

The light you carry is their own,

And thus they see in you their holiness,

Saluting you as Savior and as God.

Accept the reverence of all living things,

For it is due to holiness itself,

Which walks with you,

Transforming in its gentle light all things unto its likeness and its purity.

Repeat after me in your mind these words,

I walk with God in perfect holiness.

I light the world.

I light my mind.

I light all the minds which God created,

One with me.

Who walks with me?

Ponder on this question.

Me.

I light the world.

With God in perfect holiness.

Nothing real can be threatened.

Nothing unreal exists.

Herein lies the peace of God.
