Welcome,
Dear friends.
I will be guiding you on a simple yet powerful gratitude meditation.
Use this meditation when you are feeling stressed,
Anxious,
Or simply wanting to create space for the things that you are grateful for in your life.
I will ask you what you are grateful for several times during this meditation and give you plenty of space to answer the questions.
You may want to have a journal and a pen ready to record your reflections.
I find that it is helpful for me to note my experience when I am done.
Let's begin by taking some nice,
Slow,
Long,
Deep breaths.
If at any moment you find your mind wandering,
Simply come back to the breath and repeat the mantra,
I am grateful for this breath.
I am grateful for this breath.
Continue to breathe deeply and tune into the frequency of gratitude.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
It's so easy to get lost in the things that stress us out or make us worry.
But when we come back to the miraculousness of breath and simply being alive,
We can slip into the sweetest space of gratitude.
Tune into your breath,
Open your heart,
And I am going to begin to ask you some questions.
You may want to put your hand over your heart and simply respond in your head or out loud whatever feels best to you.
What three things are you grateful for right now?
Now,
Think of one person that you are grateful for.
Imagine this person in front of you.
Take a few minutes to express your gratitude to them.
Now,
This person will release all of your happiness andO 똑같e sensations.
Now think of another person you are grateful for right now.
Bring them into your mind's eye.
Take a few moments and express your gratitude to them.
Talk about yourself.
We'll do this one more time.
Think of one more person that you are grateful for right now.
Take a few minutes and express to them all the ways that you are grateful for them being in your life.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
Now complete the sentence with a short and simple answer and allow whatever to come through,
Come through.
I am most grateful for my love of.
I am most grateful for Mother Nature because.
I am most grateful for my work because.
I am most grateful for relationships because.
I am grateful for my community and tribe because.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
Now let's turn this gratitude practice into a self-gratitude practice.
Using the same instructions as before,
I will ask you a few short questions and just allow whatever to come through,
Come through.
There is no right or wrong.
Simply be in the field of gratitude.
I am most grateful for my ability to.
My core values that I am most grateful for are.
My most favorite thing about myself is.
One of my biggest gifts to offer the world is.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
Breathing in,
I am here.
Breathing out,
I am grateful.
Now take a nice long deep breath and come back to the room.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes and begin to jot down any reflections you may have.
I will leave the music on for a few minutes.
Thank you for meditating with me today.
The gratitude in me honors and greets the gratitude in you.
Be well my friends.
