Relax and recharge.
This practice is all about taking time out to give yourself the care,
Kindness and compassion that you show to others.
To hold space for you.
To thank yourself for all of the healing work that you do.
To fill up your own inner well.
So let's settle into a comfortable position,
Whatever that is for you.
It could be lying down,
Sitting up straight,
Hands by your side or covering your heart space.
Just do whatever feels good to you.
Notice the energy that you receive from your hands,
Wherever they may be resting.
You may feel tingling,
Warmth or a general feeling of comfort from them.
Throughout this practice,
If you notice your mind drifting off,
Gently press your hands down and wherever they are rested to provide some steadiness and bring you back to the present moment.
So as you begin to settle,
Allow the breath to find its own gentle rhythm as you listen to these words.
You may find it comforting to repeat after me,
Either out loud or in your mind.
If not,
Just reflect on the words and allow yourself to soak up all of the goodness that they offer.
I allow myself to rest.
I invite ease into my days.
I honour my energy.
I offer myself the same compassion that I give to others.
I trust my intuition.
I am grounded and connected.
I follow my purpose and passion.
I listen to the wisdom of my body.
I allow myself to be at peace.
And we'll repeat those words one more time.
Now let's just take a few moments to allow those words to soak in.
Come back to your breath.
There's no need to adjust your breathing.
Just notice the rise and fall of each breath.
Begin to notice how you are feeling right now and where you can feel any energy in your body.
There may be tingling,
Warmth,
Stillness or even discomfort.
Just really focus on noticing and listening out for any messages your body wants to send you.
And now if it feels good,
Take a deep breath in.
Hold at the top and breathe out.
Now begin to wiggle your toes and fingers.
Begin to move your head from side to side.
Just really giving your body gentle signals that it's time to awaken.
Before you open your eyes,
You may like to give yourself a tender hug.
Just really wrap both arms around yourself with a gentle squeeze and if it feels good,
A loving smile to thank yourself for all that you do.
And when you're ready,
Begin to blink your eyes open.
Thank you for taking the time to practice with me today and thank you for all of the work you do for others.
I wish you a lovely day.
