I wonder,

Did you know you're surrounded by rainbows right now?

Rainbows are all around you,

Tucked away inside rays of light.

We only see the rainbows when light shines through droplets of water or pieces of glass in just the right way.

Then we get a peek backstage.

Can you remind me,

What are the colors of the rainbow?

Let's say them together.

Red,

Orange,

Yellow,

Green,

Blue,

Indigo,

Violet,

You got it.

Let's get still and take a closer look at all those rainbows.

We'll sit up tall and reach our arms up high.

Then slowly stretch them out wide,

Drawing a rainbow in the sky.

Your hands land gently in your lap,

And you close your eyes.

You wiggle your toes,

Then wiggle your nose.

Take a deep breath in,

Then let it go.

Now imagine you can see the rainbows that are all around you.

Look around.

Can you see them above you and beside you and behind you?

Can you feel them tickling your ears?

Just look at all those bright,

Beautiful colors.

And as you look,

Choose one color you find particularly lovely,

One that makes you feel like smiling.

This is your you hue,

A color or hue that feels just right for you today.

Take a look at the red.

Is that your you hue?

Or maybe orange?

Or yellow?

Maybe green brings a smile to your face today.

Or blue?

How do you feel when you look at indigo?

Or violet?

Maybe that's your you hue.

Once you choose,

You take a deep breath in.

And your you hue fills your whole body.

And as you breathe out,

You blow a bubble of that same color.

A huge you hue bubble.

The bubble gets so big you could even step inside.

And you do.

Go ahead.

Step inside your you hue.

You feel your you hue all around you.

And you can't help but smile because it's just so you.

Bright and beautiful you.

And your bright and beautiful you starts to wiggle your bright and beautiful toes.

And you wiggle your bright and beautiful nose.

And you reach your arms up and draw that rainbow in the sky.

Your hands land gently in your lap.

And you open your eyes.

Look at you,

So shiny in your you hue.

Now step into the day with a big you hoo.

I literally was giggling and smiling, that was great. Yellow was today, but this was only my first time listening to this meditation. I look forward to what a different day May bring. Thank you for this creative & uplifting meditation. My son and I do this meditation together regularly. Now he is asking to do it! Thanks, Abby. He’s 3. We both love finding out what our You Hue is for the day.

A beautiful, fun, clear way to connect to your color for the moment. Geared for children, but made me smile and feel like a child myself. Thank you, Abby!
