This meditation is designed for leaders and high achievers – for those who carry a lot, think ahead, and rarely pause. Here, you’re invited to let go of the day, slow down, and reconnect with your inner stillness. We shift gently from doing to being. From effort to ease. You’ll be guided to soften your breath, release tension, and explore what you might be ready to let go of – one breath at a time. Perfect to listen to at the end of the day.

Welcome to this meditation that is all about unwinding at the end of the day or during the day when you feel the need.

So let's begin by taking a long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and exhale softly through your mouth.

One more time,

Long,

Slow,

Deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

One more time,

Inhaling gently and exhale with a sense of release.

And if it feels right for you,

So allow your eyes to close or just simply soften your gaze.

Take a moment to land,

To arrive fully here.

Feel your body supported by the chair or the ground beneath you.

There's nothing to fix,

There's nothing to do,

There's nothing to prove.

It's just the gift of this precious moment,

All yours to claim.

So let your breath find a natural rhythm and let your attention follow its flow in and out.

You've been carrying a lot today,

Responsibilities,

Conversations,

Decisions,

Perhaps other people's uncertainties and worry.

So let this be the space where you don't have to carry any of it.

Let your breath invite you back to yourself,

Back to your own true core,

Your true core where the stillness always is available to you.

Meditation is not about escaping life,

It's about meeting yourself as you are.

And sometimes in the quiet you begin to remember who you are beneath the doing,

The performance,

The acting.

Be kind with yourself here,

Gentle,

Hold yourself lovingly.

You don't need to accomplish anything in this moment.

And notice,

Does your mind still reach for the next thing?

Does it ask you,

What is next?

How can I level up?

What if instead you simply sip and savor this one precious moment that you have given yourself?

This breath,

This stillness,

This chance to unwind.

Let yourself soften in the jaw,

Across the shoulders,

In the belly.

Invite your body to exhale,

Invite your nervous system to settle.

There's nothing urgent right now.

And as you rest here,

Ask yourself gently,

Is there something I've been holding on to that I can let go of?

A thought,

A tension,

A pressure,

Perhaps an expectation.

Breathe into that space and with the exhale allow a little more release.

You don't have to force anything.

Just offer yourself the possibility of letting go of something you've been holding on to.

There is nothing wrong with striving.

But in this space there is no ladder to climb,

No need to perform.

Only presence,

Only breath,

Only you,

Just as you are.

And in that there is a quiet kind of power,

A deep remembering.

Let your breath continue to guide you in and out,

Moment by moment.

Allow your nervous system to downshift.

Let the thoughts become softer and let yourself simply be.

And now notice how it feels to have given yourself this pause,

This breath of space.

You may carry many roles,

Leader,

Thinking,

Thinker,

Decision maker.

But beneath them all you are a human being.

And you are worthy of rest,

Of stillness,

Of care.

So now take one last deep grounding breath in and exhale fully.

Feel your feet on the ground,

The parts of your body that touch the chair or the ground.

Feel how they support you.

And when you are ready let your eyes open gently.

Step back into your life a little more centered,

A little more connected and perhaps a little more at ease.
