Welcome everyone to this unique opportunity we give ourselves weekly to stop the rush,

Hold hands and walk the path together.

Not just as individuals but also as a united consciousness led by the tension that hides between pressure and the odds.

So this is your opportunity to shine,

To contribute by sharing your questions,

Your doubts,

Your concerns,

Your difficulties,

Everything that you feel that might be still standing between you and an awakened consciousness.

And today's excuse to meet is revealing the truth behind our decision-making process,

Behind choices,

The various choices.

I'm going to just say a few sentences to warm you up and then the stage will be yours.

Choices.

Every one of us feels that need to make a choice from time to time where our path takes into a junction where you need to choose whether you go left or right.

Right?

There is a choice to be made.

Should I choose this career path or that?

Should I choose this partner or that?

Should I choose this type of serial or that?

Some even say that their spiritual matureness is defined by the freedom to choose.

You may have read that for me as well.

No.

As we grow on the spiritual path,

We can never find ourselves stuck in a position where we feel there is no alternative.

That's the only way.

It's a dead-end,

One-way street.

There is only that and there is no other alternative.

Meaning?

Because we are not aware that consciousness allows all possibilities and we are stuck in this position when we believe that there is only this and that's it.

Today I wanted to dive deeper into that subject with your help,

With your questions,

See if this is actually the truth.

What lies behind our drama of making the right choice?

Let's see where this discussion takes us.

Any questions?

Lissadora is asking if you can repeat the question.

I didn't have a question.

You are invited to ask yours.

Under the title Choices,

What is hiding behind the drama of making the right choice?

Is it even a thing?

Eva is asking is there even a bad or right choice?

Is that a thing?

Good question.

Think about it.

Why is there a drama around making the right choice?

Why is that even a thing?

Who is asking this question?

What choice should I make?

How do I make sure that this is the right choice?

Who is asking that?

It's always the ego,

Always.

Ego is that sense of separateness,

Right?

That always walks through life making sure gains more than it loses.

A sense of lack,

Always trying to fill itself on the outside in.

That's ego.

So the choice is crucial in that sense.

Because if I choose the wrong choice,

Then I might lose more than I get and I'm going to be overdrafted.

And my limited resources would be depleted and that's it.

Life will destroy me.

It's always the ego asking that question.

What should I choose?

Where will I gain more and lose less?

Doesn't matter what kind of lack you are led by.

Is it a lack of resources,

Lack of money,

Lack of love,

Lack of attention?

Whatever you feel you lack,

You go out there and you try to fill yourself.

Life has that promise of filling you up with everything that you feel you don't have enough.

So in that sense,

Choice is crucial.

So what are we doing?

We are stuck on a rock in the middle of the junction trying to make up our mind.

You know,

Should I go left or should I go right?

What is the right way for me to go?

Or is there a wrong choice?

Think about it.

What happens when the ego stops being the choice maker in your life?

When you decide not because you lack anything or you sense that you lack anything.

That's not the reason you choose.

When the sense of lack is being replaced by a sense of abundance,

What do you choose then?

Try to imagine that scenario when you are not led by the sense of lack when you come to make a decision about something.

What would happen if abundance itself would make that choice in your shoes?

You need to imagine that and then ask yourself,

Is there a wrong choice?

Is it a thing?

Can the present moment that is born out of your choice be a terrible mistake and should never ever happen?

Is that a thing?

Can that reality manifest?

A reality that is essentially a terrible mistake?

I'm asking more questions than you are today.

We have lots of people commenting.

Do you want to hear some?

Okay,

So actually Isadora asked,

Do we really have free will?

Okay,

Do we really have free will?

That's a beautiful question.

You know,

It's one of the most basic philosophical questions somebody would ask.

You know,

It's one of the most basic philosophical questions somebody would ask in their lifetime.

Is a free will actually a thing?

You know,

In the Old Testament,

There is this sentence saying,

Everything is known and permission is granted.

Do you know this sentence?

Everything is known,

That's it.

Predetermined,

You might even interpret that.

Everything is predetermined,

But permission is granted.

So is it a choice or is it a fate or a predetermined plan and there is nothing that we can actually do about it?

It's a beautiful question.

I'm not going to provide an answer,

But it's definitely a question that you need to ask yourself as you go on the path.

Free will.

I would say a good way to start investigating this question,

Is there free will?

Is ask yourself,

Who is willing?

Free will of who?

Who is actually there trying to make a decision,

Trying to manifest its will?

Who is willing?

What is that entity that is willing?

You will find that in most cases that entity is an expression of lack,

Of separateness.

The will is based on me wanting something from life,

Because I don't have it yet.

Fame,

Fortune,

Glory.

I want to express my individuality or I feel a lack of love and attention and et cetera,

Et cetera.

That generates a will.

What do I will?

What do I wish for?

More,

More than what I lack.

Or the opposite is,

Which is even more rare,

Is I have it,

But I need to make sure that life doesn't take it away.

So I need to protect it.

I have a good stable relationship,

But I am led by the fear that this is going,

This is temporary and it's going to be destroyed by life.

So I need to make sure that this is not taking away from me.

This is mine and life cannot touch it.

That will is generated because of ego,

Sense of lack and need in most cases.

Do you see that?

Okay,

That was the first answer for the first question.

If we have many more.

So if most of the time our choices and will are led by ego,

What does it look like for it to be led by,

As it is said,

The soul,

Your spirit?

Yeah,

This is the second half of our talk.

Are we there yet?

Or do we still need to concentrate on it?

So Deborah said in regards to making choices,

We want approval of others.

Marcy says we fear making the wrong choice.

Michelle says choices have consequences.

Barbara says behind my drama is that I will be judged by others for making the wrong or right choice.

My desire to get their approval.

Okay,

It's good that you're aware of that.

It can't be a foosball of other people's opinion.

Marcy says changing the future,

Affecting the future with choices.

Yeah,

You are going to affect the future whether you choose this or that.

In both cases,

You are going to affect the future and the future is going to affect you.

So what?

Think about it.

But the motivation to change it in a certain way is led by the ego,

Right?

Because I believe that only if it's changed according to my plans and expectations,

Only then I will benefit more and lose less.

Or feel like it's the right choice or the wrong.

Yeah,

But what is the right choice?

In the eyes of the ego,

The right choice is always benefiting me.

There is an agenda,

Right?

I will create a more safe,

Secure,

Rewarding reality for myself and my loved ones.

You see that?

That's the definition of a right choice versus a wrong choice according to the ego.

It's always led by a personal agenda that is created.

The agenda itself is created by a sense of lack.

Fearing that I'm not going to get what I need or I'm going to lose what I have.

You see that?

This has to be very clear and nothing to be ashamed of or don't judge yourself because of that realization.

It's universal.

You didn't invent that.

So don't criticize yourself.

Just be aware of it.

Oh,

This is what is leading my choice making process.

Most of it.

Irene says,

How about the old adage,

Be careful what you wish for,

Because you may get it.

Yeah,

That's also happening.

And Marcy says,

Yes,

The consequences.

AJ says,

Choices are based on a sense of separateness,

Me versus others,

As though I exist.

I don't.

Yeah,

That's the definition of the ego,

The sense of separateness.

So we are talking about the same thing.

Deborah says,

We determine a wrong choice only by the outcome,

But not for.

Whether the outcome of my choices matches the expectation I had when I made that choice.

Right?

I believe that if I will make that choice,

Reality would manifest according to my agenda and I will get what I need.

Do you see that?

So if these two matches,

Then I believe that was the right choice.

The wrong choice is when life surprises us and actually doesn't meet our expectations.

By the way,

Do you see that expectations and anxiety are exactly the same thing,

But in a different sign.

Expectation is plus and anxiety is minus.

Expectation is what I want reality to be and anxiety is what I don't want reality to be.

But in both cases,

My attention goes from the present moment to a possible reality in the future.

It's exactly the same.

Okay.

So then Isadora asked,

When people commit horrible acts,

Do they have free will or choices or are they also led by predestiny?

And then they said,

Oh my God,

You just answered my question.

People do horrible things when guided by ego or lack versus the abundance of soul and spirit.

A good place to start investigating your question is letting go of the idea that it was a mistake.

That this should never have happened.

Let go of that idea.

Even if it was led by terrible ignorance.

Even if that had terrible consequences.

Let go of the idea that it shouldn't have ever happened.

That's an illusion.

Always.

Can you learn from it?

Definitely.

Can you grow by experiencing it?

100%.

Was it a mistake?

Never.

It's an illusion to believe that reality is a terrible mistake.

Start there and now continue your investigation.

AJ is asking,

Is there any difference between conscious and unconscious choices?

Yes,

Definitely.

Let me rephrase it so it'll be easier to understand.

There are choices that are led by fear and there are choices that are led by no fear.

Or the other way to say no fear is love.

Choices that are made out of love,

Which brings us to the second half of our story.

So Michelle's asking,

How do we distinguish that the ego is making the choice?

Because it's led by fear.

Ego is afraid of not getting what he feels he lacks and needs.

Or losing what he feels that it's his.

This is mine.

Life will take it away.

I have to protect it.

Both are led by fear.

These are the two fears.

Okay,

Two essential fears.

First type of fear is I'm afraid I'm not going to get what I need.

Or I'm going to lose what I have.

I'm afraid I'm not going to get what I need.

Or I'm going to lose what I have.

So you come to decide,

Contracted,

Afraid.

Life is a big threat and you're afraid.

Now you know ego is deciding for you.

So go back to this invitation.

What would abundance choose in my place right now?

What would unconditional love choose in my place right now?

What would Jesus do?

WWJD.

What is Jesus?

It's an expression of unconditional love.

Doesn't matter.

It's a different word for the same.

So if Jesus had to choose between this cereal and that cereal.

If he would need to choose between this path and that path.

What would he choose?

I'm telling you do that even if it's on the level of you know fake it until you make it.

If you are ever stuck in a position where a decision needs to be made and you don't know where to go,

Left or right,

Do that.

Meditate on this question.

What would Jesus do?

Buddha,

Whatever.

Anyone that you find easy to follow.

What would unconditional love do in my place right now?

When there is no fear at all.

Life is not intimidating in any way.

Even if you are full of fear,

Now at least you know the direction.

And I tell you if you want your life to be guided harmoniously to flow in the direction of unconditional love,

Follow that.

Even if you're still afraid.

Doesn't matter.

You just choose that and see how your life unfolds.

H.

A.

Wants it to be.

What would Yaron do?

W.

W.

I.

D.

Okay.

What would Yaron do?

Whatever makes you happy.

Isadora said this is easier said than done when the consequences are so awful like murder and abuse etc.

H.

A.

Free yourself from the idea that you know who should live and who should die.

H.

A.

It's not that easy just to think like that.

H.

A.

Free yourself on this idea.

You don't know.

That is the truth.

Of course life's secrecy is above everything else.

But if somebody died,

Was that a mistake?

It shouldn't have happened.

You don't know.

H.

A.

Wow.

W.

W.

I.

D.

Yeah.

And life is a terminal sickness.

We're all going to die.

But walking through life afraid of death.

H.

A.

Or bad things.

W.

W.

I.

D.

Or bad things for that matter.

H.

A.

Whatever you want to label things as.

W.

W.

I.

D.

That's not what we are guided to do on the W.

I.

D.

H.

A.

There's no freedom there.

W.

W.

I.

There is no freedom.

Expand your consciousness.

Let me go back to that story about the stream versus the ocean.

When your consciousness is contracted,

Limited to a consciousness of a stream,

You know,

It might seem very crucial if that specific stream goes through the left or through the right.

H.

A.

Right.

Because maybe if he goes to the left,

There is a huge waterfall.

He's going to fall down a huge cliff.

It's going to be painful hitting the ground all the way down there.

And if he goes right,

There might be a drought over there and he's going to evaporate altogether.

Right.

So in the context of a small,

Limited,

Concentrated,

Contracted consciousness,

It might seem very crucial.

What is the right choice?

But expand that consciousness.

Allow yourself to see the bigger picture.

All the way to the consciousness of the ocean.

Imagine yourself wide as the ocean itself.

What do you realize then?

All streams flows to the ocean.

They came from the ocean.

They come back to the ocean.

Doesn't matter if it's from left or right.

Right.

Why would the ocean care if you come from the left or from the right?

They come for me.

They return to me.

They are we.

They just go through their path.

That's it.

And they are soon reuniting with me.

So it doesn't matter.

It doesn't truly matter.

When your consciousness is expanded,

You realize those choices that I was so afraid of,

They are truly just opportunities to experience life on various aspects.

That's it.

And it doesn't matter.

It doesn't truly matter.

This path might be more comfortable and that path might be less comfortable or more intimidating.

It doesn't matter.

Eventually,

Soon,

The ocean is waiting for you.

See if you can allow your consciousness to expand in that way.

Then you realize the choices that I was so worried about,

They don't really matter.

Then you realize even something more substantial and that is what creates turbulence in the flow.

What stops life from flowing naturally and harmoniously is my concerns,

My ego.

Trying to make up his mind what is best for me.

But when that ego is not standing in the path of the flow,

The flow just continues naturally.

You realize there is no choice.

Not really.

If you're honest with yourself,

While you are on the stone in the middle of the junction,

If you're honest with yourself,

You know where to go.

But that knowing is covered with so much doubt and fear and confusion that is not accessible.

Honesty brings you directly to what you know to be true.

And that is always the path of love,

Unconditionally.

See if you can go between the doubts and the fears into the essence of the matter and you will easily find out what is the right thing to do.

It's like choosing between a piece of chocolate and a piece of wood if you're hungry.

It's not really a choice,

Is it?

I think this analogy of the stream running into the ocean is really beautiful.

Because when you look at the streams and the rivers,

When you go into nature,

You see how tumultuous and dramatic it is.

And you can really identify with that.

And it's exciting.

You like watching it because you like watching the water fall over the edge and all the turbulence that that pulls up.

And then I'll watch the different routes that the water can take.

Oh,

Okay,

So this one went this way and look where that takes it.

And this one went this way and look where that takes it.

And then you really have this opportunity to zoom out and see that,

Yeah,

You don't really have a choice.

The water just flows.

Does it really care where it flows to?

Does it have an opinion or an idea about what it's like?

Or is it just flowing and experiencing what is happening?

Oh,

It gets to go around this rock and now over this tree.

And it's a really neat way to think about life.

And then at the end,

The ocean,

Which is very vast and open and pretty boring in most of it.

There is no drama in that.

Yeah,

It's boring.

Until you get to the waves crashing on the shore.

And dive deep.

If you are truly sincere in your quest to read or dive deep into the ocean where there is no movement and there is no distractions,

Nothing is changing.

There is no waves to entertain you.

Dive deep into the heart of the ocean.

And it brings you back to why we're here,

Which is to experience.

If you dive deep,

Your experience is that calm,

Quiet silence where there's all kinds of variety,

Different things to see.

This peace.

And then you can come back up to the surface and surf on the waves and crash yourself into the shore.

And have that experience.

Isadora says,

Be like water was Bruce Lee's motto and the source of his martial arts skills.

Very good.

And Isadora also says,

Ever see the movie Sliding Doors with Gwyneth Paltrow?

It's all about choices and destiny,

How it seems right or wrong is so fluid and unknown until later.

The invitation tonight is,

Or this morning,

Is let go of the idea of right and wrong choices.

If you need to split those into two groups,

My recommendation is ignorant choices versus knowledgeable choices.

And the ignorance is always about the nature of the self.

When you are led by ego,

Which is an illusion of separateness,

Then you are led by ignorance.

When you are led by love,

Unconditionally,

Fearless,

Then the truth is carving your path.

What else?

AJ is asking,

If we are affected negatively by others' egoic choices,

Do we surrender to the outcome,

Stand by and experience?

Isn't choice what sets us aside from other living things,

What makes us people and not streams?

What makes us people?

That's a beautiful question.

Is it our opinions about what should be and shouldn't be?

About what is right and wrong?

Is this what makes me a person?

The set of beliefs and opinions that I have about life is this what makes me human?

It's a beautiful question.

If you're affected negatively,

Let go of this definition.

There is no negative and positive.

There is no good and bad.

There is only the present moment and your opinions about it.

It could be comfortable,

It could be less comfortable.

It could be meeting your expectations and your concerns,

Or it could be contradicting them.

So what?

That's not the point.

The point is,

Are you willing to stay open and soft to meet reality as it manifests?

Or do you prefer your ideas about it?

That's the only choice.

That's what we gathered here today to hear.

There's only one choice you can make in life.

One true choice.

And it's got nothing to do with the circumstances you experience,

Whether they are like this or like that,

Comfortable or not.

The only true choice that you have is whether you are willing to keep your heart open,

To embrace life and its totality in the present moment.

Or do you prefer your opinions about it?

That's it.

That's the only choice you have.

And that is a choice that only you can make.

Nobody else can make that choice.

Not even God himself.

Remember that story,

Bruce Almighty?

When he was trying to make his girlfriend love him unsuccessfully,

He went to God and said,

Listen,

I have all your powers,

But I'm unable to persuade her to love me.

You do that.

Make her love me.

And God says,

No,

I'm sorry.

It's not something I can do.

I cannot force people to open their hearts.

It's a stupid movie with a beautiful lesson to learn.

You are the only one that can make that choice.

So how do you choose to live your life?

No,

It doesn't mean that you become a phlegmatic,

Spineless worm that life can just throw left and right.

No.

People think if I don't have my own will,

Then,

You know,

What's the point?

Am I even a person anymore?

I'm saying,

Give it a try.

For one week,

Allow yourself to be led by love and not by fear.

By an open heart and not by your opinions about what should or should not happen.

And an open heart that embraces life totally in the present moment.

And see if you become a spineless worm or a very unique,

Inspiring individual.

Give it a shot and see what happens.

But go all the way.

Don't compromise.

One week of fearless life.

What is what is unconditional love choosing in your shoes right now?

So if this is the only and terminal choice,

Then AJ's question,

So Americans had no reason to vote.

If the only choice Americans make is that one,

Then the vote,

The determination of the vote isn't in play anymore.

No,

You're part of the game and the game has rules.

So play by the rules.

You know,

If you need to go and vote for every four years,

Inspired by a possible future,

Good,

Go do it.

But don't believe that only if your choice proves to be the majority and reality aligns according to expectations,

Only then you can be happy and fulfilled.

No,

That's an illusion.

Your happiness,

Your fulfillment has got nothing to do with the circumstances.

It's got everything to do with your choice to keep yourself available with a full heart and a willing soul.

That is the truth.

Don't confuse yourself to believe that reality can manifest that for you.

No,

You manifest reality because of your willingness or unwillingness.

Do you see the difference?

Then why vote?

Because that is the rule of the game that you are playing as an American citizen.

Yeah,

Every four years we go and we vote.

We are contributing to the democracy we choose to live in,

In that way.

That's it.

And I continue to spread unconditional love around me because that is the only true choice I have,

If I'm sincere on that.

What I'm saying is,

And what he's asking about,

Is to vote or not to vote.

And what I'm saying is that if you choose to vote,

You surrender to whatever the outcome of the population is out of that democratic process.

If you choose not to vote,

You also surrender to whatever the outcome of that democratic process is.

Yeah,

But don't kid yourself to believe that you are not voting because your vote doesn't matter.

And you can't influence reality anyway.

That's the point.

No,

It's not true.

If you stay at home,

Your absence is very influential.

Very,

Very influential,

Both statistically and energetically.

So either way,

You generate the reality that you need.

Of course,

Together with the consciousnesses of the other 350 million Americans that live in the United States.

But still,

You are a part of that.

Don't fool yourself to believe that whatever,

It doesn't matter.

It matters a lot.

You are a part of that game.

And in order to play this game,

You need to know the rules of the game and obey it as much as you can.

Otherwise,

It's going to be a mayhem.

It's not a game anymore.

Right?

If people play a game and they don't know the rules of the game or they don't obey it,

It's not a game anymore.

It's just a mess.

Right?

Absence is also a choice.

Yeah,

Conscious choice that has consequences,

For sure.

So choose and surrender to your choice and the consequences of your choice.

So Brooke's saying not choosing is its own choice.

Right.

If you choose to stay at home and not go and not elect anyone,

Then that's your choice.

Surrender to that choice and the consequences of that choice and make sure you remember that not going to choose has consequences just as going to choose.

Let's just distinguish here between a not choice and a choice.

To me,

A not choice means you're sitting on that fence or the rock in the middle of the street.

You're not actually making a choice and surrendering to it.

So let's just distinguish between that.

Yeah,

Yeah,

Yeah.

You choose to go or you choose to stay.

Both have consequences and you surrender to your choice.

It's not that important if you choose to go or to stay.

It's very important that you surrender to your choice.

That you make a choice.

And surrender and to the consequences.

Because the drama seems to happen in that,

Should I go this way or should I go this way or should I do this or should I do that?

Yeah.

The Tarzan effect.

You remember the Tarzan effect?

How does Tarzan move through the jungle?

Well,

He's holding a root and he's gliding to catch another root.

But he needs to let go of that initial root.

Otherwise,

He's stuck between two roots.

Right?

So let go,

Surrender.

Surrender to your choice and then the flow can happen.

Then the flow can happen.

It doesn't matter what you choose.

Choose left or right.

And surrender to that.

The drama happens when you are unwilling to make a choice or you make half-baked choices.

Meaning you put your leg on the leash but you keep one leg on the rope.

Or maybe on the other side,

Trying to see.

You're not full-heartedly choosing anything.

People can spend their lifetime with a partner but never choosing to be with him or her fully.

And that's how the relationship is like,

Sharing.

Because they are never committees.

Do you see what I'm saying?

Commit.

If you choose to stay married,

Commit.

If you choose to divorce,

Commit to that choice.

Surrender to the consequences of that choice.

It's much more important than staying together or breaking up.

Marci said,

It is a mess.

Rules left years ago.

And AJ says,

All games are based on winning.

Does that not reel in the ego and influence choices,

Etc.

?

Yeah,

Just remember it's a game.

It's okay if you are supposed to win the game because you've reached a certain point in the game.

It's okay.

Remember,

It's a game.

Don't take it too seriously.

Anyway,

You're going to lose.

Life is a losing game.

Expand to realize,

Oh,

I'm not here to win anything.

I'm losing everything.

It's just a matter of time.

Even my own body,

Everything is going to be taken away.

So what am I fighting?

What am I fighting?

Really?

Jenny's quoting Rush.

If you choose not to decide,

You still have made a choice.

Yeah.

No,

But don't stay stuck in the indecision position surrounded by doubts and fears.

No.

If you choose not to go to the ballot and vote,

Fine.

Stay at home.

Surrender to that.

But your choice is that you choose not to vote.

Not that you're indecisive between the two sides or whether to vote or not.

I think we understand each other.

Good distinction there.

Isadora says,

You're right.

AJ winning requires holding back the ego for the good of the team.

Michael Jordan didn't win championships until he became a team player.

Michael Jordan is a different thing.

Don't get started on Michael Jordan.

In Yaron's opinion,

Michael Jordan could have won the whole championship without the team.

With his eyes closed.

Nina says,

In that space,

You can't move.

Letting go allows movement.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That's so true.

Letting go allows movement.

Yeah.

The thousand effect.

Have your imagination focused on thousand.

If he holds on to the two branches,

He's stuck between the trees.

That's it.

If he needs to move forward,

He needs to let go.

At least one of them.

Rook says,

I guess not choosing is a choice to be unconscious unless you're consciously choosing to be open to whatever consequence happens.

But that's not contradicting making a choice.

Make a choice.

And if you're truly honest with yourself,

The choice is already made.

Beyond your doubts and fears,

You know what is the right thing to do.

Just remind yourself,

It doesn't really matter.

It doesn't truly matter if you choose this or that.

What is important is that you choose and surrender to that choice.

Marci says,

It's easy to say in Canada,

You may feel differently when I show up with my dog on your doorstep.

I did vote.

We are opening a community for people who feel they need to escape the United States.

American refugees.

You're most welcome.

Come here.

There is space for everyone.

Rook says,

Is the game just a construct of the reality we know?

Yeah,

Life itself is a game.

Play joyfully.

Dance through it.

Don't take it too seriously.

Anyway,

In 50 years,

We're all going to be six feet under.

Don't take it too seriously.

Life is a game.

Don't take it too seriously.

Life is a game.

Enjoy while you play.

You know,

That's the difference between war and game.

War is a game that people take too seriously.

They are willing to kill each other.

Okay,

Beautiful people.

Thank you very much for joining us this morning.

Thank you for your beautiful questions.

Thank you for your donations.

We are going to meet you again next week.

They're making me cry.

In fact,

The ice won't stop watering now.

They're coming?

No,

Because I'm so happy they're coming.

All right.

Love you very much.

Bye-bye.
