Hello dear people,

Welcome to this unique opportunity we give ourselves every week to hold hands and walk the path together not only as individuals but also as a united consciousness and we are in the middle of a journey,

A very ambitious journey that is aiming to portray the path of an evolving consciousness in the 10 meetings of this series of talks we are gradually unveiling the various phases of maturity,

Consciousness growth through as it blossoms to its fullest potential of course this is not a religion and we are not describing a set of rules and regulations that you need to follow in order to become enlightened,

It doesn't work like that but it will portray a typical journey that your consciousness as well probably will go through as it evolves and this helps to first of all know where you are on that map and also to have an idea where you're heading and maybe if you choose to you can orient yourself and your energies and your intentions accordingly this will for sure make your journey much more effective and fruitful that's the idea behind our ambitious task and this is not a lecture even though there is a path to describe this is a conversation led by your questions that will determine the pace and the depth of this discussion so don't be shy share your questions your doubts your concerns whatever it's like the wind in the sail of our boat and Carly will be the voice of the sincere seeker okay so we started describing what ignites this journey to begin with you know that spark that is lit within you the calling to unveil the mystery of life it could be ignited because of various reasons that we described in the first meeting of this series could be suffering that's the most popular reason for the spark to ignite you know i face difficulty a crisis maybe a loss and and i find some comfort in the spiritual path could be a search for meaning which is a more delicate form of suffering it could be a meeting with a teacher that inspired me to seek for more it could be a mystical experience vision that i had many reasons for the spark to ignite more importantly is that we recognize that and we hear the calling and we answer it the calling to know more about the true essence of who we are and what are we doing here realizing that the life that we've lived so far is just a very shallow waters and there is huge depths waiting for us to explore and we can't wait to dive deeper and deeper into the mystery hmm so that's that was what ignites the journey and then last week we or two weeks ago because last week there was no meeting we've described the first step that we make as we step out of the cage out of the bubble that we've been living in and that was freedom from the realm of thoughts realizing that thoughts like any other phenomena has no power thoughts the fact that there is a thought now doesn't mean anything and it's definitely not describing an absolute truth that's just because i've been thinking it doesn't make it true as soon as i realized that thoughts lose lose their power lose their grip and that is the beginning of an amazing transformation usually we are so hypnotized by the realm of phenomena specifically by our thoughts which are just another type of phenomena that we experience from time to time or most of the time we are so mesmerized hypnotized and there is no freedom there because we are completely dependent on the phenomena if a thought comes into my mind i'm hooked i believe i identify i'm lost there is no freedom there but as i realize that thoughts have no power a huge space of freedom is revealed and i'm not a slave anymore i'm not a victim of circumstances anymore and i don't have to automatically react to whatever is being experienced or to whatever thought i'm currently thinking i can just observe that thought without reacting to it reacting mostly means cravings and aversions i want more of that i crave that i'm trying to hold on to that or i don't want that i'm trying to avoid that to fight it to change it you see so many people are stuck believing that they can be happy only when they are able to tame their thoughts to replace a negative thought with a positive thought for for example that's not the case at all realizing thoughts have no power or meaning you don't need to tame your thoughts you don't need to fight your thoughts you don't need to run away from your thoughts or to change them in any manipulate them in any way because they have no power so what's the point why give energy to that attempt and anyway it's useless you cannot tame your thoughts right you cannot you cannot not think about a red elephant now can you not think about a red elephant right now right so it's not about changing your thoughts or replacing one thought with another or any of what the new age is trying to persuade us to do because thoughts have no power so that realization creates or it reveals huge space of freedom the the joy of of meeting a thought without believing it yes do you see what i'm saying any questions so far before we head to the second step you're getting love-bombed i like it so second step what happens to consciousness that stops identifying with the realm of thoughts and power what happens is what you may call a new adaptation between the body and reality or in other words establishing presence a new type of presence which is very rare because usually what happens you face the present moment but i mean theoretically if you're not just like carried away by the movie to a false futuristic movie or historical movie that has got nothing to do with the present moment whatsoever that's usually where your attention is but let's say for miraculous reasons you are able to bring your attention back to the present moment what happened then between you and the present moment there are a pile of opinions and ideas and preconceptions right you are rarely free of this veil that stands between you and the object of observation there is an opinion between you do you see that there is a thought you you you rarely maybe even never truly are available to experience to have a direct experience of reality because there is a thought between you and reality thought about reality it could be a neutral thought which is more rare mutual thought meaning oh i see a tree this is an oak tree i know that i've i've seen a few of oak trees here in the neighborhood this this is one of them or that was a terrible place to plant a tree it's blocking the view somebody should come and cut this tree or any other story you might tell yourself about that tree right there is a thought between you and the tree you can never really connect to the essence of tree-ness how do you say it in english tree-ness cannot be experienced through you why because you have an opinion you have an idea so it could be a neutral idea but mostly it's a judgmental idea whether you are aware of it or not the idea that you have about the present moment is judgmental meaning it's determining whether whatever you are currently experience is good or bad right is it preferable or not does it work for you or against you does it meet your expectation or does it contradict them right it's judgmental your thoughts are like a veil hiding reality from you and preventing intimate relationships between you and the object of observation do you see that can you recognize that so the thought the opinion that you might have could be neutral mostly it's judgmental good or bad but anyway if it's good neutral or bad it still stands between you and what you are observing what you are experiencing so there is never truly an established presence so the second step that happens after consciousness realizes that thoughts have no power is as you can already see a natural outcome of that would be not giving thoughts and opinions so much energy so they drop right what you don't give energy to dries up and drops what you give energy to what you put attention on that flourishes that's a law of nature if you don't believe me if you don't believe me plant two pots with a few seeds you know and put them on by the window and you give a lot of attention to one pot a lot of love a lot of attention caring to one pot only one pot and see what happens how compares to the other one see what happens to the sprouting now you know that from life what you put your attention to grows if you don't put your attention on the realm of thoughts and opinions and preconceptions and ideas they shrink they shrivel and die so then what happens the veil drops the veil drops and for the first time maybe ever you're available to experience directly the present moment free of judgment free of preconception free of expectations that's a whole new ball game and what happens is there is a new alignment between your physical body and the reality of your perceivings an alignment that was not possible when you are obscured by opinions and thoughts usually there is an unnatural level of stress in your body governed by opinions and thoughts expectations a anxiety fear frustration anger rage suffering unnatural level of stress that does not align with the reality with the present moment as it happens and when we are free of all this garbage that level of stress also naturally reduces to make you loose and comfortable available mentally emotionally energetically physically to ungrace the present moment do you see what i'm saying questions huh nothing so far so either everything i say is crystal clear or nobody understand anything so ebra made a comment our minds like to fill in the blanks what blanks the blanks where the veil is the blanks need to be filled in with your thoughts and your opinions and your ideas of buildings and your thoughts look you even call it a blank just think about this word if there is no opinion there is a blank something is missing we have to fill it with something no that word blank i'm telling you there is so much richness there is so much content obscured unavailable for you to experience why because you are pre-consumed with your opinions with your thoughts with your beliefs expectations anxiety etc the possibility of being vacant from thoughts is alarming a blank what no no i have to fill it with something i have to fill it with a blank you know we just came from a silence retreat that ended a few hours ago and i spoke about the gap between thoughts you know in a silent in a in a in the context of a silence retreat it's easier to experience that because you create the space of observation you know and you reduce the external distractions artificially to allow that so what happens you meet a thought and then that thought passes and then you meet another thought and then that thought passes there's another thought and as you observe these thoughts coming and going you may accidentally also observe a gap where there is no thought just by giving that attention you come to realize oh there is also gap that hides behind the noise usually we are completely hypnotized by the noise so we are completely oblivious of the gap it's like looking at the skies your eyes automatically go to the clouds because they have a shape they have a form they move there is action no it's more interesting nobody cares about the blue behind the clouds it's boring there's nothing there i tell you even here even now when i speak it's not about the words that you hear or the concepts that they try to convey it's about the silence between the words between the concepts and ideas i plead you not to be hooked by thoughts and opinions everything i say everything that you hear is beside the point but sitting here in silence probably won't be so popular and in just in the meditation we did at the beginning of this session maybe because we came from the silence retreat sometimes that makes it easier to fall into the slowness and quiet of a meditation and maybe a little easier to recognize the the thoughts as they come and i found myself thinking that i that as the thoughts were passing by which they quickly were in succession like a lineup i thought i prefer the blue you know so the so then you know the gap gets bigger and the blue stays a little longer yeah but again don't conceptualize that because what happens now okay the mind the ego grabs this as a concept and say oh yeah this is what i want i want the blue okay so every time there is a cloud coming you try to chase it away oh no no no no this is not what i intended no so again there is a conflict that you created artificial conflict don't worry if there is a cloud let it be there it will pass and just remember that the clouds is not who you are it just passes everything that starts also must finish everything that appear must disappear you don't belong to that realm you are eternal you don't belong to the realm of time of changing events you are the background of all the events the background doesn't die no you are that all-allowing space you are the blue just hypnotized by the clouds what else it's hard to talk about these things without creating more concepts it's how to talk about these things because the only way to talk about these things is using words and words have little power to begin with words are just ways to convey ideas and what we are aiming to describe cannot be conceptualized conceptualized thank you today so in the silence retreat most of it yaron speaks in hebrew and one of the ladies there he was speaking in english a little bit for my benefit and one of the ladies there didn't speak english very well she didn't understand a lot and she kept sort of you could tell that she was you know saying trying to convey you know can you say say it so i can understand and at the end she when we all were speaking again she made this comment and i told her you know sometimes the language is just a distra another distraction so it's interesting to not only experience a silence retreat but also experience even the small amount of speaking by one person uh maybe giving direction or you know introducing an exercise or something for a purpose most of which i don't understand and not letting that be a distraction because i don't understand it i can't conceptualize that because i don't understand most of the language so then that's just another sound another noise like the birds singing or you know the the sound of the dogs barking or whatever so yeah it's but it's not just background noise the the energy of invitation is there yeah so this is what i the next thing i was going to say is that you can you can take energy from from any input and and that and and put meaning into it however that is it comes to you so carlotta is asking how do you know when you're dissociating how do you know when you're not in the present moment how do you know when that veil is there you know knowing in a biblical term the knowing in in biblical terms is uniting becoming one it's not you thinking about something it's you are that it's not you having a relationship with something you melt into it to become one the two become one flesh one body one energy one love one consciousness you're not thinking about that you are that you know you won't ask me how do i know you just know like you don't ask me if you love someone or you don't ask anybody for that matter you know that you love how can you prove that you cannot prove but you know it no you know it like existentially right you know that you love no need to ask anybody if that is correct or not same when you stop conceptualizing you know you become that that's the point of this discussion you are that you become that the object there is no difference anymore between your body your consciousness and the object of your observation they align in harmony that's the second step consciousness does as it steps out of the cage no questions barbara's saying hundreds of questions but it seems like those are part of the veil so i'm ignoring them and content to listen when the question transforms into a wonder you know what's the difference between a question and a wonder a question comes with feverishness right and until i receive an answer i won't rest when you wonder just wow in all wow whoa what is this there is no need for an answer the wow is enough hmm aj says your guidance for compassion to the mind as it suffers through its death the mind is dying no no no the mind cannot die the mind is the part as a part of your physical body the mind is the part of your physical body energetical emotional body mind is there what is mind mind is that screen that your emotions sensations and thoughts are being projected on that's the mind okay so you can observe you can become aware of it you will not stop thinking don't wait for that day i mean you will eventually but but at that day you won't worry about it i can guarantee by the way that's a good lesson for life no every time you are entangled with some difficulty with the drama you know you don't know what to do where to go you are upset annoyed you know you're carried away by the drama it's the way out is very easy just remind yourself oh in 50 years i will be six feet under remind yourself of your own temporary existence which is the only absolute knowing that you have about yourself is that you're going to die it's a matter of when could be next week it could be in 10 years 50 years who knows no but it's coming 100 percent remind yourself that when you suffer and it will be easier to come out of it to see how stupid it is so no the mind cannot die until you die until your body stops to function and dies then the mind dies until that day the mind won't die what dies is the relationship that you have with your mind that dies or at least transforms it dies in a way because something new is born and for something new to be born something old has to die the context of the meeting between you and your mind is reborn usually you have a relationship with what you meet on the mind and that relationship is led by the ego what do i gain out of this where do i lose where do i win making sure that you don't lose more than you win otherwise you'll be overdrafted right that dies for sure that bookkeeping or bookkeeper dies and the whole context of you meeting reality is transformed but don't wait for the day for your mind to die it's that same day you have to prepare for the angel of gabriel no what else marcy's saying that she missed us both so much she missed you too antonio's here saying hi hi and so marcy brings up a good point that that happens with memory loss so the difference between you know losing your memory because in a way what you're suggesting is that we let go of the veil lose our preconceptions which arguably can be part of our memory and our story along with our opinions yeah so the difference between that and physically losing your memory through dementia or alzheimer's or something like this it's similar yeah i mean of course you can use it if you're not sick with alzheimer you can go back to the warehouse and grab a memory apply it when relevant that access is still there available for you but you don't put too much attention on it that's why enlightenment is so fresh always fresh enlightenment cannot be staled no it's always new it's always refreshing when you meet an enlightened person it's like diving into a fresh water pond i can tell you from personal experience my grandmother was sick with alzheimer and i followed her as she lost everything including self-awareness she didn't know who she was where she was what is she supposed to do and how to do it a complete empty shell everything about her as a that defined her as a person was lost but what's remained still after she didn't know how to use a spoon was compassion that was amazing revelation for me you know if somebody fell immediately she was like oh are you okay are you hurt compassion was there that was amazing compassion is there before your identity before your persona compassion is who you are before you started thinking something about yourself love unconditional love is what you are you see it's not about getting the point it's about remaining in the origin point or if you're not remaining there at least going back there again and again and again yeah what else deborah is saying i've heard that the mind is a great servant but a core master is that part of what you're saying you can say if you let your mind rule your world you're lost because you cannot control the mind the mind has its own will did you ever were successful in controlling your thoughts or your emotions you were sad and you and you thought okay enough i i need to stop being sad were you successful it's it's enough sadness oh this thought is disturbing me i can't sleep this thought has to go away were you able to chase a thought no chase away your thought it doesn't happen mind is uncontrollable so if you let mind rule your world that's it you're lost but remember it's not about controlling your mind it's about realizing that the mind has no power thoughts ideas opinions have no power just like a cinema movie that you watch the movie itself it's only 25 frames per second that's it it has no power but when you keep get carried away by you know the scenes and the plot then it has all the power right so you you the observer you can use the mind but don't be fooled to be ruled by the mind by the realm of phenomenon yeah what else joe is saying namaste i'm feeling confused because my mind constantly criticizes me whether i say yes or no to something it always questions my decision if i say yes it finds faults and if i say no it asks why i didn't say yes is it ego playing with me please guide me don't worry about it it could be you know a pattern that you've adopted on your path maybe when you are really young to keep doubting yourself finding reasons why you are not worthy it doesn't matter i tell you you can go to a psychotherapy and try to analyze it on this white path that we are walking on just realize that these ideas that you keep hearing about what you should have been and what you should not be these ideas have no power it's okay for you to listen to that music that will keep on playing in your head probably until the last day of your life you can listen to that music but you can choose not to dance accordingly you can choose you have the choice what do you do with emotions sensations and thoughts do you choose to believe them then you're lost if you realize they have no power you can choose not to believe them you are free from them that's it you don't need to change you don't need to tame you don't need to replace a thought with another one there is no one thought better than the other there is no one idea more profound from another thoughts are just a veil dropping the thought is unveiling reality to you for you for you making you available to fully directly experience for the first time be present be totally present totally innocently naked of preconceptions vulnerable exposed fearless available aj said that's the death i referred to death of power not death of the mind oh yeah yeah so compassion about the death of the power of the mind what where'd you get compassion from aj said something no how to aj said compassion to the mind as it suffers through its the power of the power of the power of my compassion of the mind yeah you know this may be experienced through alongside with fear of fear of loss loss control lost of oh you know feel the fear of the unknown because we are so accustomed to experience reality in a certain way and suddenly this changes dramatically and we are unaccustomed to it and it's unknown and we are afraid it's okay walk through the fear don't ignore it but don't submit to it fear itself what is fear is an idea the fear itself is an idea idea about a terrible thing that may happen and as you stop giving power to ideas fear drops it's a natural outcome that's why you are able to face reality fearless because those ideas have no power anymore yeah there is an idea about something terrible that may happen so what you are much more charmed by the present moment rather your ideas and concepts about what may happen but what else carlotta says i get i get caught by fear i see i react by feeling sensation in my body and i start going down the rabbit hole so many thoughts sensations i get lost i don't want to continue with this dance good good meditation can help no breathing techniques that can help release the stress out of your system and uh if you want you can find many guidance about how to use your breath to let go of that stress no physical emotional energetical stress get rid of it through the breath i think we have to start thinking of you know we know how good physical exercise is for our body but we don't really think the same way about exercises for our mind i mean maybe a little bit if we're trying to you know stave off boredom or you know improve your intellect by reading or doing puzzles or something like this but this type of exercise is what effortlessly brings you to that place you don't need to do anything you don't need to think about it it just just appears because the the practice is what helps you get rid of that veil and then it's you're just free to experience yes without doing anything so release that stress from your body using your breath and then meditation is the key you know meditation is all about observing with no reaction observing whatever the realm of phenomena whatever is happening you just sit and observe and you don't react and then as you practice that gap between the observer and the object of observation becomes clearer and clearer and realizing this is just an external phenomena in the periphery of me this is not who i am once that is realized the melting back is seemingly seamless seamless the melting back is seamless into one oneness but now you are not a slave anymore of the realm of phenomena there is a tough anyway we'll talk about it in the next session so yeah this is what i invite you to do in the next week put that top of your priority see if you can meet the present moment whatever you are currently observing with no prejudgment preconception with no expectation no with no fear and anxiety there is no idea that stands between you and the object of your observation at least even if artificially try to create those circumstances where you are available to meet whatever you're observing and not hold on to any belief about it let me just paint a picture of what this looks like in reality because your own looks makes it sound really easy and like it's no problem it's not a problem you you sit there this uh this is my personal experience from today hot from the oven yeah so you sit there in a chair and so maybe however you decide to do the exercise so the exercise is to sit there as still as you can still everything and just observe so then i'm sitting in the chair thinking okay so i'm supposed to do this for half an hour no okay so that's an interesting thought there okay now now hold on focus okay so now i'm looking on the ground oh there's an ant i'm gonna follow this ant for a little while oh now it's too hot on my face oh now now i have to sit no i picked the wrong spot no i should move my chair but i'm not supposed to okay so i'm just gonna sit here like that on and on and on but the interesting thing was i didn't move and i sat there for half an hour and i just let all these things and i just observed them okay yeah it's too hot oh that's an interesting oh so experience the heat on the face okay yeah and then it just goes like that over and over and over and you just you really you you realize these even if it's small little moments of just merging with life where you're not actually thinking about something or observing the thought about something you're actually experiencing the the sun on the face or the fly on your hand or the whatever i'm thinking about it if you're not sure if that was experienced yes or no one criteria that you may use is that you lose the sense of time being exists beyond the realm of phenomena beyond the realm of time right you disappear time disappears space disappears there is only oneness and then you wake up oh no what what what what what happened how much time was i gone i'm not talking about daydreaming okay it's not about daydreaming it's about no i-ness so if you if that happens and there is a glitch in the matrix no and you are gone and there is there is only the experience there is no experiencer anymore you melt into one then you know and it could be temporary or it could be an hour and you don't really there is no way for you to tell you have to look at your watch to see how much time it's it's the third dimension right time space oneness and something that goes this way what else uh jyoti is saying fear of what others think or say when i share things with family and friends they say you should not say or do that why are you like this these things go into my mind sometimes i hear the same conversations with my friends and family it affects my mind making decisions i hear the same pattern here for the second time now your mind is re-programmed to search for reason to justify your unworthiness that might have been forged when you are really little you might even not remember maybe a baby you may even came with that imprint from your previous life who knows point is it doesn't matter it doesn't matter what other people say think or say it doesn't matter what your mind is saying trying to convince you to believe you are the observer you can choose what to do with this information don't wait for the information to change so you can be happy and fulfilled or enlightened or whatever don't wait for that you can choose to heal that and not believe it that's it the fact that it's being said or thought doesn't make it true the only true that you know is remain open and soft with a willing consciousness with a whole heart and a willing soul that's the only truth that you're not that's it the rest will take care of itself don't worry about it if you if you meet a scary thought about a danger a possible danger in the future you can choose not to believe it that's it fear is dropped it loses its grip just try it and see next time a scary thought comes you choose not to believe it not to identify with it not to create a story around it or based your identity on it that is not who you are thoughts have no power thoughts have no power without this identification you are now available to directly experience align your body and reality into one harmony okay that's the invitation see if you can practice on that this week next week we will meet again to discuss the following steps or at least the following third step that consciousness goes
