Thy Will Be Done is a gentle, spacious meditation exploring trust, surrender, and the freedom of not needing to know the way ahead. Guided with warmth and simplicity, it invites you to soften the body and mind, rest with the breath, and open to a deeper will moving beneath effort and control. Rooted in the contemplative Christian tradition and offered in an open, interspiritual spirit, this meditation closes with a quiet assurance of love holding all things. Music: Kevin Macleod - Tranquility Base

Transcript

Find a posture that allows both ease and quiet wakefulness Seated or lying down,

Let the body be supported Allow the spine to rise naturally without stiffness or effort Let the hands rest easily Simply allow yourself to arrive There's nothing to prepare or nothing to arrange Let this moment receive you Gently softening the body,

Allowing the face to relax The jaw unclenching,

The tongue resting easily Letting the shoulders release Softening the chest,

The belly,

The hands And wherever you find intention,

Just gently allowing it to soften Allowing the mind to soften as well And rest your awareness in the natural rhythm of the breath Not controlling it,

Not following it closely,

Just simply resting with its flow Begin by noticing where you are Not where you think you should be Not where you hope to arrive But where you are now The simple feeling of breathing The quiet weight of the body The fact of being here There is nothing to correct,

Nothing to improve,

Nothing to achieve Let yourself rest in that simplicity Now let these words arise inwardly Not as a demand,

But as an offering Thy will be done Let the words gently land in the heart Not as resignation,

Not as giving up,

But as a listening A soft consent to something deeper than your plans Notice how the mind may reach ahead Seeking reassurance,

Certainty,

Clarity And gently let that soften You do not need to see the whole path You are not required to understand the whole story Faith here is not certainty It is willingness A quiet openness to be guided one step at a time Again,

Very gently Thy will be done If thoughts arise,

Questions,

Doubts,

Unfinished concerns Allow them to be here You do not need to push them away You do not need to solve them Let them rest in a larger silence Feel into the humility of not knowing There is freedom here The freedom of not having to be in control Let this truth settle gently You are not asked to be extraordinary You are asked to be faithful Faithful to this breath This moment This quiet yes Nothing needs to be added Nothing needs to be proven Let life be offered exactly as it is Now sense the deeper movement beneath effort A will larger than your own Not imposed from outside But arising from the ground of being itself A will that is not harsh,

But patient Not controlling,

But creative Rest here Once more,

Inwardly Thy will be done Begin to sense the body again The weight of your form The quiet rhythm of breathing Notice the space around you There is nothing to carry forward except a gentle trust A willingness to walk without needing to know Carry this prayer not as words,

But as a way of being A quiet trust,

A gentle yes And hear these words now Not as reassurance alone But as truth spoken from the depth of love All shall be well And all shall be well And all manner of things shall be well For there is a force of love moving through the universe That holds us fast and will never let us go
