Welcome to this walk with me for release.
As we begin,
Notice as you take deep breaths,
What is arising for you?
What needs to be worked out,
Released,
Expressed,
Moved?
Allow it to come to mind,
Allow it to come into the body,
The awareness.
Likely it's already present right there.
Perhaps on the verge of tears,
Perhaps choosing a walk over,
Releasing anger onto someone else,
Perhaps feeling a disappointment so deep,
It's right there.
Perhaps it's anger,
Whatever is right there,
Just walk with it.
Start walking.
We can walk at whatever pace that suits this experience,
This need,
This desire,
This stirring.
Might be a fast pace to quote,
Walk it off.
Might be a stomping,
Might be the way in which you're moving your arms.
Perhaps they're more punching downwards as you're walking with each arm moving.
Perhaps it's a pumping of the fist in and out as you're moving your arms.
Just allow it to move through the body.
Feel it through your breath.
Feel it through your being.
Make the movements that release it into the earth.
Mother Earth will receive it to compost whatever it is,
Your tears,
Your anger,
Your rage,
Your grief,
Your sadness,
It's all a gift to her.
Your authentic expression is what moves the mountains,
What moves the earth into a truer version.
It bears witness to you becoming more of yourself.
So allow the roar.
Use your voice to scream,
Yell,
Exhale audibly and deeply.
Allow the leaves,
The trees to blow in the wind with you,
To release their petals,
For the flowers to shine in honor of this wisdom that you share,
This release that you are honoring.
The birds and the animals thank you.
Allow yourself to feel it from the root,
Your root,
On the base of your spine and from your sacral or your tummy or under your belly button.
Feeling it all the way through the body,
Under your ribs,
Your stomach,
At your heart.
Let your heart express.
Give yourself permission to move this,
Your throat,
Your third eye and your head.
Allow it to unclog,
Release from the head into the body and through to the earth and up to the heavens,
Up to the clouds,
To the sun,
To the moon,
To the birds receiving,
To them soaring and taking the blessings of your release.
Stay with yourself and know that we are walking together.
You are not alone.
You have all the beings around you through the animals,
The birds,
The trees,
The flowers.
They thank you.
Allow your walk to receive other movements if it wants.
Maybe it moves to a dance,
Maybe it moves to a swaying or a rocking or stomping or a punching with your arms in the air.
True for you,
Staying with your process,
Allowing it to organically shift.
Your pace may shift.
You may jump,
Skip,
Allow the waves,
Shake,
Allow the arms to shake,
Dangle them and shake them like you're flicking things off as you're moving,
Balling your fist and releasing it,
Throwing whatever off,
Releasing it.
Always notice how the breath shifts as you feel like your waves are shifting,
Perhaps placing your hand or hands on your heart as you move,
Or if you've started swaying or some other movement,
Just honoring.
Receive the gift of yourself.
Receive the empty space that exists as you release what no longer serves you,
Thanking yourself for showing up,
For staying present,
And beginning a new cycle if there's more,
Or thanking the experience with you at the center and moving into the next part and moment of your day.
