Chakras.

What are they?

They are the energy centers that are the connection from our physical body to our energetic body,

Aka our soul.

Each one has its own specific color,

Purpose,

And a special way of working with it.

They are connected to each other by cords or energy tubes.

Both the chakras and the tubes can get gunked up with energy,

And this is how we get blockages that stop us from fulfilling our full potential.

This can happen with both physical and emotional trauma.

The intensity of the trauma will show you the intensity of the block.

When working with chakras to remove blocks,

You need to remember to think of it like an onion.

You keep on peeling back the layers to make them shine brighter and brighter.

Healing just doesn't happen in a day.

Chakras are a great way to start working on your personal healing and to give you a roadmap to yourself.

When people are in alignment,

It means that all of their chakras are shining evenly.

This means that they are all working together to bring you into balance.

Then you go deeper into your healing.

Let's say you're figuring out who you want to be as a partner.

This will start in your root chakra.

Now this root chakra is brighter than the rest,

So you need to start working on the others so that they all match to this new level of brightness.

We can also heal these areas in many ways through therapy,

Self-help practices,

Journaling,

Meditation,

Energy healings,

Wearing intentional crystals,

And eating certain foods.

One thing to note is that certain traumas and issues affect more than one chakra since the balance is so interconnected.

So it's not linear.

You usually don't start from the bottom up.

You can go all over the place and figure out all these different sections of yourself.

This overview will help you start learning what your chakras are and where to start your healing journey with them.

We're going to go over the color,

Where they are located,

What they are used for.

We're going to focus on 11 right now.

There are nine inside of your body and two outside of your body.

To go deeper into each one,

Please refer to the individual recording where there is a meditation to travel into each of them.

So first and my personal favorite is the earth star chakra.

It's a black obsidian sphere that is located six feet below you.

It is called the earth star because it is located in the earth or Gaia and helps connect us to her.

When we ground into the earth,

This is actually what we're anchoring into.

This is the pot that holds our roots where you are able to grow fully.

It's a safe space in the earth that is created just for you and is where you can learn to ground into.

Because this chakra is outside of our body,

It is also movable.

When you are feeling overwhelmed and need to go deeper into the earth,

You can actually move this chakra deeper into the earth with your breath.

Through very difficult times in my life,

I have pushed this chakra down to the center of the earth to help cradle me.

I do not recommend leaving it there for too long as you can start to feel stuck and sluggish,

But it's very helpful through times of grief and sorrow.

Above that,

Where your tailbone is,

Is the red sphere called the root chakra.

This beautiful space represents who I am.

A lot of your ancestral trauma,

Self-esteem,

And what you stand for are located here.

They are also really close to your hips where we carry a lot of our family trauma.

Think of how we carry our children.

The easiest place to put that weight is to put it on your hip.

So as you're working through this area,

Yoga or simple stretches to open up this space is really helpful.

It will help bring your awareness to this space and release some of the tensions.

Some people also think of it as a dragon's tail where you can connect to your dragon allies and use the tail for grounding instead of roots.

Both tails and roots are a great way to stabilize yourself as well as grounding you deeper.

Right above the root is the orange sphere called the sacral chakra.

This is I feel.

It's located in the wound space.

It doesn't matter what your gender is or if you have the body part or not,

We all have this space.

It's located right behind your belly button.

Like I said,

This is where we feel things.

This is where we create.

This is where the gut instinct lives or your intuition.

When we use intuition,

It's all about feeling since that is what connects us to our higher self and our spirit guides.

That is where you create and strengthen that relationship.

When you're working in the spirit world or with yourself,

It's not about what you know.

It's about what you feel,

What you create,

And what you hold on to create.

So think of this as a really good space to get rid of some of the craft supplies that you drag into other relationships or aka your baggage.

What do you actually need?

Because the tools you have to create with will depend on the art that you make.

Make sure you have great supplies so that you can create the best possible outcome.

Moving up the body to right underneath your breastplates is the yellow sphere called the solar plexus.

This is your confidence.

This is also where you can feel some of your indigestion.

That's a hint for the sign of blockages.

That is where your confidence lives,

More self-worth.

That's where your light lives.

The view of this chakra is the flame that warms your heart.

This is also the place where a lot of people fear their anxiety because this is where your self-doubt lives.

When you look at the chakra chart of colors and the color wheel,

You will see that red and yellow makes orange.

Therefore,

Who you like or have been told who you are and your self-doubt will affect how you feel.

Therefore,

If you deepen your knowledge of self and work on building yourself with steam to express that self,

It will automatically help heal your chakra and how you feel.

Because sometimes when you go and try and tackle these feelings head on,

It's scary and daunting.

So let's gain the confidence and the knowing of who we are so we can strengthen that relationship and we have support going in to face these big feelings.

This is how connected our energy centers are to each other.

Above that,

We also have the green sphere of the heart chakra.

Depending on how you wish to work in this space,

It can actually split into two parts.

I like to think of this chakra as both a deep forest green and a light pale green swirling together.

There is a higher heart which is your ecstasy,

Your bliss,

More passion,

And this is the love of the pale green.

Then you have the lower heart which is the forest green color.

This is your deep compassion and empathy and that deep primal love just like there are two main chambers of the human heart.

This is the most commonly known chakra minus the third eye and is actually the gateway to manifesting and working with your magic.

It is the middle of your internal energy points.

Therefore,

When we say come back to center,

That means to come back on your heart,

What you love to do and focus on this space.

In order for you to go out with love,

You have to go in with love and that's the exact same as magic.

This is a very powerful place for a lot of people.

Above that to where your Adam's apple or voice box is,

Is the later blue sphere called the throat chakra which is I speak.

I speak with kindness.

I speak with truth.

I speak with love or do I speak with venom.

There is a lot of pressure to speak your truth or to keep things quiet.

There can be a lot of different blockages here from speaking too much while not listening or not speaking at all.

So if you're having trouble communicating,

This is the space where you need to go.

Just like the root sacral and solar plexus connection,

There is one with the heart and solar plexus and throat.

The ability to speak your truth with a clear heart and having the confidence to do so is the main struggle for most people.

In my practice,

I find that the block in this area is actually the connection to between the heart and the throat.

This is usually because there is not enough flame or firepower from your solar plexus to push the blocks up and out of your throat so that you can feel confident and comfortable speaking.

Sometimes the problem is that we don't feel safe with the people and situations that we see ourselves in.

The most commonly known one that you see everywhere is the indigo sphere located on your forehead known as the third eye which is known for I see.

Like all the chakras,

They are seers because they shine all around you.

The majority of people who are working with this chakra they use can only look ahead but in order for balance it needs to be all 360 degrees.

To help you open it up,

You can think of the different beams that help activate this space.

One from straight out your forehead out the straight back.

There's one from the front of your forehead that goes down where your pituitary gland is.

At the top of your neck there is one going from left to right of your skull.

There's one going from the top of your head to under your jaw.

This space helps you see and plan your future,

See through bullshit and lies,

See problems coming,

And to see spirit and its signs.

Then the top of your head is a purple sphere or lotus called the crown chakra which is I know.

This is how you know and filter all of the information that you're getting from spirit whether you follow path of god or goddesses,

Spirit guides,

The universe,

Higher self,

Ancestors,

And everybody in between.

This is basically the funnel that will take all that information and funnel it down into a beam into your chakras to process and heal.

When you are ignoring signs and messages and when you first start journeying sometimes you get a flood of messages because there's a backlog.

If you are in this space right now this is where journaling and finding a way to process that information will really help you learn what parts you need to integrate.

This is where a lot of the aha moments come from of things you haven't seen before.

One thing to note is that spirit plays the long game.

There is no timeline for them so whether no matter how big or small this information is it is important but it doesn't mean that you need to fixate on it.

So if you feel like you're getting a lot of information or it's all hitting you at once,

Write it down somewhere,

Record it somewhere where you know you're going to go back and look on so that way you can get it out of your system,

Come back to where you are at this point in time,

And see it through a different lens.

It might show you a roadmap to yourself,

It might just be random cool facts that you were trying to find information about or learning how it all pieces together.

So don't think too much,

Feel,

Go from head into heart,

That is the main goal.

Now we're going to go six feet above you where you're going to find a platinum sphere called the soul star chakra.

If the crown chakra is a funnel of information the soul star chakra is the antenna that signals the information to go into the filter.

It's the difference between just standing out in the rain trying to collect all the water droplets for the information that you want slash need to actually putting out a barrel and saying hi yourself what do I do with x and then your spirit guides are able to fill that bucket with the information that you need.

Just like the earth star chakra you can move it so if you're stuck then maybe push your soul star chakra higher to get a different perspective to see through the storm that's coming ahead so that you have a glimpse of how long it's going to be there.

But just like the earth star chakra you want to make sure you don't overextend it too long because this can make you feel floaty and not grounded.

To help you feel more stable when you're extending your soul star chakra upwards counterweight it with the earth star chakra so that you are in balance.

Finally we are going to look into your hands.

The color of your hand chakras for me is clear because what we touch and use will affect what we're working on.

So washing your hands energetically when you do magic or even just washing your hands when you touch something that makes you feel uncomfortable is a really good way to cleanse these.

We're not going to think of these chakras as left and right but as your dominant and non-dominant hand.

Your dominant hand is how your energy is put out into the world and your non-dominant hand is receiving energy.

So if you're trying to balance both when you're working or meditating one hand up and one hand down is a good way to show balance.

If your hands are facing up while you're meditating you're receiving information.

If your hands are facing down then you're pushing that information down into the earth and you're grounding your energy into it.

When you wear crystals it will show you if you're using that energy for yourself or other people.

Now I want to get back to food.

Food is a very interesting place and it's also a big struggle for most people.

Just like with the crystals and the chakras the reason why they're all colors is because they correlate with other things.

So for example let's say I want to work on my sacral which is orange.

So I'm going to wear orange crystals like carnelian to heal that space.

I also might eat a lot of carrots because not only are carrots orange which matches the color which matches the color and that vibration they're also root vegetables which means they're grounding me into who I am.

So you can do more than one at a time.

I also like to wear orange maybe have an orange scarf or if you really want to put on some orange eye shadow and pay attention to the world around you.

When leaves are about to fall and release they can turn a shade of orange.

So pay attention to the colors of the world around us because as I said the world within reflects the world without.

So if you don't know where to start take a look at your food what you wear your favorite picture and notice the colors of that.

You can even just start with what's your favorite color it might be your subconscious telling you where you like to work where you're familiar working with so that you can go in and start working on something space.

So that's your quick overview on the chakra system the coals notes so to speak.

If you want to dive deep into how to heal and work with each chakra or meditation to start journeying into the space you can reach out and send me a message or look at the other recordings I have on my page.

Thank you for joining with me and I'll talk to you soon.
