This track draws from both my own experience and the experience of some of my clients. Through the process of self-reflection, it supports you in realizing something I deeply believe in (because I have felt it), which is that when we look back at our lives, we have actually achieved many things we originally thought we could not or doubted we could do well. Beneath the rouble of doubt, there is a 'confidence' light. Our past experiences have given us this, and although we may naturally not feel it in every moment of our lives, we CAN tap into it when we need it. Because, as said, the source IS inside of us.

Hi and welcome to your guiding meditation for today today you have chosen a meditation that focuses on the topic of self-confidence a meditation that helps you recognize acknowledge and cultivate the confidence you do have within you in yoga we connect the area of the solar plexus that space between the rips and above the belly button as the seed of self-confidence that area where the intuition about the decisions lies and it is when we can listen to the signals from this area of the body that we can notice what is right and what is not for us so to help you get in touch with this area of your body I invite you to choose a position of comfort one in which you can sit or lie down without any discomfort or ache go ahead and indulge yourself with any props such as pillows bolsters or blankets to allow your body to relax take as much time as you need to do so to find your position of full comfort and once you have done so I invite you to gently close your eyes or keep them slightly open either way allow your eyelids to relax there is a connection between the eyes and the diaphragm the more relaxed the eyes the more profound the breath you towards the end of today's meditation I will ask you a few questions for you to reflect on this is the most important part of today's practice so listen attentively and answer authentically you let us begin in your position of comfort slowly bring your attention to your breath just notice your breath notice where in your body do you feel your breath streaming in where does the breath move the body where does it expand the body on an inhale and relax the body on an exhale to support you in feeling more relaxed I invite you to on your next breath breathe in deeply through the nose and breathe out completely through slightly parted lips and if that felt nice you can do so a couple of times more with every inhalation invite the expansion in the body to occur and with every exhalation choose relaxation and notice how it happens quite naturally slowly and mindfully come back to natural breath following the inflow and the outflow of your breath choosing to focus on your breath with attention with intention to focus on the area of your ribs noticing the broadening of the ribs on every inhale noticing the softening on every exhale aware of how your breath creates and fills the space with every inhale and with every exhale you can settle a little bit more in that space the space between the ribs and above the belly button the area of the solar plexus the seed of self-confidence in this space visualize or let yourself feel a flame you decide how tall and bright this flame is feel the warmth of your internal flame the internal spark that motivates you and the internal fire that sustains you a fire that represents that feeling in your gut that gives you the wisdom to make the right decisions that when you allow it provides the sense of self-confidence and faith in yourself that same fire that kindles your core values what are your core values?

Take a moment and allow them to come up to the surface what are your core values?

What guides you in your life?

It is these core values that provide you with the guidance for what feels right for you so as you sit or lie here visualizing or feeling that flame or fire in your belly take a moment and ask yourself what experiences in your life have given you the confidence and faith in yourself what experiences have given you that inner strength and sense of self-worth quite often these experiences are exactly those experiences you thought you would not survive or let alone thrive in yet here you are you have survived and notice how this self-doubt,

Self-criticism or skepticism that you used to have you have been able to transform into self-confidence,

Self-belief and maybe even optimism when you look back,

Realize just how much you have already achieved under the circumstances of your life how you have more in you than you ever imagined because your experiences have showed you that how you can have faith in your abilities and capabilities observe what has guided you through those experiences observe how there is instinct,

There is inner wisdom in you that supports you in making choices in believing in yourself in constantly redefining yourself and gradually becoming a version that you desire of yourself reflect what choices can you make that lead you to becoming this desired version of yourself what one choice would make you feel content and confident in your future what belief,

Habit or behavior needs to be let go of to move forward what needs to be strengthened within you to move forward reflect and you may want to commit to making that one change,

One choice or decision that helps you promote the desired version of yourself a person of confidence,

Strength,

Faith and pride as you think of this or visualize this future version of yourself confident,

Strong,

With faith and pride notice the flame in you burning high and bright in the area of your solar plexus and affirm in your mind the following sentence 3-5 times on an inhale,

I see my power,

Value or potential and on an exhale,

I realize my power,

Value or potential let's do this at least two more times I see my power,

Value or potential I realize my power,

Value and potential slowly and mindfully let the visualization,

Let the affirmations go coming back to your breath,

Take a deep breath slowly start connecting to the elements of your environment and notice the ground,

The air and the space around you and when it feels easy,

Slowly flutter your eyes open and allow any movement that may feel natural and needed in your body now to occur and remember this sense of confidence,

Of faith in yourself exists within you take it and use it whenever you need it,

Knowing that you can tap into it anytime you need it because it is inside,

The source of confidence is inside namaste
