Hello and welcome to our community meditation.

My name is Vivian Girard and it is my delight to be your guide through this portal of time that we will spend together.

Okay,

Let's go ahead and close our eyes and allow ourselves to come fully into this moment.

The focus for our time together is grounding,

Bringing all of our energy fully here into this human body and connecting in with the rootedness of our planet.

So as you land in this space,

Allow all of your awareness to start to be magnetized back into this human form that you chose.

Allowing your focus to shift from your mind and all of the thoughts and activities and tasks into your body.

Feeling the density of the human form,

How full it can become when we call all of our attention,

Our awareness into this present moment.

Instead of focusing on the thoughts and trying to unravel from them,

Turn your focus to your body,

To the core trunk of your human being,

The chest cavity,

The stomach digestive system,

Your sit bones,

Your bottom,

Your hip bones,

Your legs.

As you turn your focus to your body,

The energy moves from the upper chakras down lower into your root chakra.

You might feel that as a drop landing more firmly in this moment.

It might suddenly just feel very full inside of your stomach or your bottom.

Just breathe and allow the energy to start to move and settle inside of your human being.

Here you are,

This infinite soul that chooses this infinite soul that chooses this human form to come and play.

When we remember that we are energy,

Consciousness,

In form,

And we call that energy,

That consciousness here into this moment,

Our physical can feel its arrival.

Our physical body can feel more and more of the infinite taking up space inside of the organs,

The bones,

The blood,

The movement of the water,

The flow of the systems of the body.

So relax your muscles.

Allow yourself to come fully into this moment with me.

Here we are,

Humans choosing to pause,

To slow down the activity and to center our attention,

Our awareness into this current moment.

Doing it together through technology,

Dissolving time and space and allowing ourselves to land in a shared experience.

What grace is this practice of meditation.

Allow your mind to settle as you land here in this moment.

There's a choosing of the experience and often our mind will wrestle with that choice because there are so many other things to do.

And yet when we bring our mind into this quiet,

Calm space and we're remembering the complexity,

The magnificence of the human body,

Our mind can become a witness of what the body is experiencing right now.

And so allow your mind to pay attention to what is actually happening inside of you.

What is happening inside of your body today,

Here,

Now,

In all of the organs and the bones and the flow of the energy.

What is actually most present for you?

Allow your body to show you what it desires,

What it needs in this moment.

Perhaps it's something to drink when you're finished with this meditation.

Maybe it's something to eat.

Perhaps it's movement,

Walking,

Stretching,

Yoga,

Dancing.

It might be rest.

Your body might exhale and just show you how good it would feel to be still,

To lay down,

To close your eyes and allow some healing and realignment to happen inside of your human form.

Let your body give you information in this moment that your mind is receiving,

Is paying attention to,

So that when the meditation is complete,

Your mind has an activity,

A next step to carry from this meditation space.

And then bring your awareness down through your body all the way to your feet.

You can imagine seeing your feet in your mind's eye or feeling your feet connected to the earth Allow your feet to recognize,

To connect with the grounded energy of our planet.

So the strength and the density of the dirt underneath the building where you are.

Perhaps you're walking and you can actually feel the dirt with your bare feet.

As complex and dense as our human bodies are,

Allow your feet to remember just how vast and wide and solid our planet is.

And how gravity naturally connects us firmly,

Firmly to the power of this planet.

And feel how as your feet and the planet connect,

There's a way that your energy can synchronize You can allow your physical body to feel stronger.

Grounded is a word that we often use in meditation.

You can feel more grounded.

Gravity can pull more and more of your awareness into your human form as you connect at your feet down into the planet.

You might really feel like a tug in your stomach or your shoulders might be pulled forward because there's so much energy tugging your attention lower.

So allow your muscles to relax.

Perhaps open your shoulders a little wider and wiggle your shoulders.

Stretch your space out.

So even as you're grounded,

Connected in with the planet,

Your body is open to receive.

Your heart is open to experience,

To feel.

There's so much of your consciousness,

Your awareness in your body,

And you're firmly connected to our planet.

And as you do that,

Relaxing your muscles again,

Allow yourself to feel any shifts that have happened in your body.

Perhaps your body feels tingly,

More alive,

More relaxed,

Strengthened.

Whatever the words are,

The emotions are,

Allow yourself to register what has shifted.

Letting go of any judgment,

Any expectations.

It's simply curiosity.

What does this practice of meditation offer you?

And allow your mind to make note of that shift.

This is why we meditate.

This is why we pause the activity and the running and the overwhelm and we come back fully into the moment.

Relax your muscles again.

If you feel any tension in your head or your jaw,

You can wiggle your teeth,

Your jawbone.

Allow your yawns to move through,

You're releasing stagnant energy.

When you do that,

You might feel a little activation in your throat chakra.

When consciousness,

Energy,

Awareness moves through our physical body,

We have physical reactions,

Manifestations from that.

So sometimes we cough,

We yawn,

We burp,

We have water move through our eyes,

Our ears pop,

Our muscles want to twitch or buzz.

There's a physical shift that matches the energetic movement.

So flow with what your body is showing you.

Allow yourself to come into a harmony within that draws you back again and again into your own meditation practice.

Feeling your feet firmly planted on this earth,

Connected in with the consciousness of our planet.

And slowly,

As you feel ready,

Go ahead and open your eyes and allow yourself to slowly take in the information in your physical environment around where you are sitting or standing or walking.

Feeling your feet firmly on the floor and at the same time a greater awareness of your body,

A greater trust between the body and the mind,

A more peaceful harmony.

Between the two.

And from here,

Move back into your day paying attention to how present you are in the moment as often as you can.
